Not for me
I purchased this and noticed my face was breaking out even more after I started using this product. I discontinued use and my face cleared up. Unfortunately this product was not for me. I still love Neutrogena and use one of their other cleansers.

dont get ;/
I personally have an oily t-zone and chin with dry cheeks and i get breakouts. I don't get any acne. i have oily/combination skin and i found that it dried out my skin too much and made me breakout more. it dried out my cheeks and made my skin tight while overcleaning my t zone and causing more problems than it fixed. not recommended for dry or oily skin.

Drying
I tried this product on a whim and wished I didn't. My skin is normally very oily but somehow this product turned it extremely dry. Also, my acne went from a few pimples to almost a dozen. Definitely would not recommend.

Stay away!!!

Cons:

Dries out skin
Flaky burning skin
Irritates and reddens skin

I picked this up at the store by accident thinking it was a different product. I have combo dry skin. I used this one time at night to clear up two little pimples and the next day my skin was so red and dry and painful to the touch! I've been applying my regular moisturizer Embryolisse with Josie Maran argan oil for the past few nights and it's been helping but my skin was not even this dry when I was on Accutane and I only used this cleanser once! I will say that the little pimples I had went away so maybe this is ok for EXTREMELY oily skin but even then only use it sparingly because this stuff is scary!

Do not buy

Cons:

Reddens skin
Irritating
Expensive

First time I used it, it caused all my blemishes to get red, irritated, and itchy. It was on sale so fortunately I didn't pay as much as others did, but I'm sad because it's still a waste. Bought it on a whim and realized after that I should've checked the reviews. Never making that mistake again. Also think I'm allergic because it's made my skin itchy all over.

Pros:

Cleans well
Smells good
Minimizes pores

Cons:

Slightly drying

I find this is a really good cleanser for me. I have slightly oily skin, huge pores, and a ton of blackheads. I am seeing results and i've only used it once a day for two weeks

Pros:

Prevented breakouts
Good price
Controls Oil

Cons:

Doesn't really clear acne
Slightly drying

It isn't an awesome cleanser but it's not a terrible cleanser either. If you have oily skin with mild-light moderate acne then give it a go.

Pros:

Clears acne fast
Oil free

Cons:

Drys out skin

I usually only break out once a month but two months ago I broke out and it never went away. I've always used neutrogena products so I bought this. It works. I don't think I will use it as my regular product because it is very drying but I will definitely use it for that week or so of my breakouts as it just works so fast for me.

Pros:

It does what it's supposed to do

Cons:

It can be drying

In reality, if you have dry skin, you shouldn't be using a 2% salicylic acid cleanser. I have used this in the past and it worked. I never had a problem with it drying out my skin. I recommend this for people who have annoying breakouts all over their face, not just little problem areas.
