Pros:

it gets rid of oil

Cons:

expensive

You can make something exactly like this!!! I found this video on youtube on how you can make your own blotting sheets. They are cheap!! Here is the link [link removed] work the exact same way and barely cost anything.

Pros:

These are great if you're looking to soak up oil quickly.

Cons:

WARNING!! Mineral Oil is a main ingredient....this will contribute to an oily face later on after using them and contributed to more breakouts for me.

When I used to use these, I thought they were great until I realized that using them was giving me more and more pimples. It was very smart of the company to use oil in the indredients... 1) You use them and see a shine-free face 2) A few minutes later or so, your face is oily again 3) You purchase more. buyer beware is all i have to say.

Pros:

Absorbs Oil

Cons:

Causes Breakouts

I started using these to remove the oiliness caused by my sunscreen and I suddenly started to break out with little white heads which was not normal for me. I did some researching on the ingredients in this product and many say mineral oil is bad and so are the other ingredients. I am no longer going to use these, but I have read a lovely alternative, although more expensive, are the green tea blotting tissues by Boscia ($10) sold at sephora. The green tea helps calm the skin and they are made of only two ingredients, the paper and the green tea. You also get 100 of them

Pros:

Removes Oil

Cons:

Forms acne due to the portable size/concept.

Tissues work easier.

The convenient size of the pads make it easy for you to get your hands close enough to your face to aggravate/form acne. Tissues work better.

Pros:

Well it does do a good job of removing shine from your face, BUT for some skin types THESE WILL CAUSE BREAKOUTS

Cons:

I know alot of people denounce the fact that these could cause breakouts but hear me out, they do. For the past few months I have been using these pads on my forehead as it tends to be the most oily part of my face, my acne has never been worse.

I'm not a dermatologist, I cannot tell you why these have caused breakouts for me but I know for a fact that these have been the source my problem. I started using this product started using this product on my forehead because it was the most oily. The following months would be terrible for me. I started breaking out like I have never before, but only on my forhead where I had been using the pads. I didn't put two and two together and couldn't understand why I was breaking out thinking it was sweat, increased stress or hormones, drinking, smoking whatever. I started using antibiotics, perscription topicals, even extremely expensive laser treatments(and of course these oil blotting sheets). My face never improved, and I became extremely frustrated and upset. Finally I went online and saw people had similar reactions to these sheet, first almost invisible blemishes that soon turned into cystic acne, so I stopped using them. If you have been having a problem when using this product STOP!!

Pros:

It removes oil pretty well.

Cons:

My skin has never looked worse. For the first two days using the product I was very happy with it, but after a few days my skin started breaking out HORRIBLEY. I have acne ALL OVER MY FACE, which I have never had before.

This product may work for some people, but for others (like me) it is terrible. I will never EVER use this product again. EVER.

Pros:

They absorb oil and reduce shine.

Cons:

They led to the worst breakout I have ever had.

Since I tend to have extremely oily skin, I really need a product to reduce the amount of oil that collects on my face within hours of taking a shower. Although these sheets do the job, they also made me break out terribly. I started to notice tiny, colorless bumps gradually appear all over my face. No big deal, I thought, since they weren't especially noticeable. Then, within a few days, my face was completely covered in huge cystic pimples. And I mean completely covered. After frantically trying to determine the cause of the terrible breakout, I figured that it must have either been the sheets or the fish oil pills that I had recently started taking. I immediately stopped using both products, and within a week or two, my face was back to normal. After giving the sheets another chance (without the fish oil pills) my face broke out with cystic pimples all over again. I will never use these sheets again. They may not ruin your face, but they ruined mine. Goo

Eh Not so much..
I don't know if it's just me but they cause me to breakout. Maybe because there is mineral oil in them? They make my skin look great and then a half hour later my face is oily again. So I bought Boscia Clear Complexion Blotting Linens at Sephora instead, they are all natural amazing-must have!!!!

These work well enough, but there is a less-expensive alternative in the form of toilet-seat covers that you can find in any public restroom(or you can buy your own set for sanitary purposes). Just cut the seat covers into small squares and blot on your face to absorb the oil.

Pros:

none really

Cons:

it didnt work on my face.
it could of been because right after i bought them the pakage got wet, but i used one before that happened and all that happened was the sheet looked like it got wet.

try it for yourself. it might be one of those products that differs from person to person.
