Pros:

Really nothing.

Cons:

Made my face break out with painful pimples, black heads all over my face, made my facereally red , and itches a lot

I had bad acne for a while. I went to a dermatologist and my face cleard up . After my face had been clear for a year, I wanted to go after the scars. I went to a doctor/medspa office. The doctor told me obagi would get rid of my scars. As soon as I started using it my face began to break out with cystic acne, and blackheads covered my face. I went back and told him this was happening and how I read oil was in the ingredients. He told me its ok, just keep using it. So I stayed on it for a few months. Now my face is 10 times worse than it was.

Pros:

Makes skin soft.

Cons:

Makes acne worse, really expensive, sun sensitivity.

Obagi NuDerm with retin-A made my acne worse than it had ever been before. I stuck it out past what the doctors called the purging period (6-8 weeks) and the pimples just kept rearing their ugly heads. My skin was also so sensitive that when i washed it, sometimes the zits would start bleeding, so now i also have acne scars that i never had before. I went on this stuff so my face would be flawless before my wedding, but it turns out it made my face so much worse than it had ever been before. I'm back on proactiv and my face looks considerably better, but now i have to wait out weeks, possibly months for the red dots to go away. i just hope i can get rid of them before my wedding. also, sun sensitivity is horrible. if u love to be outdoors, hiking, cycling, surfing, snowboarding, whatever... this stuff is not for you, i learned that the hard way.

Pros:

The BP serum Is a good spot treatment.

Cons:

Dried out my skin HORRIBLY!!! Did not prevent new breakouts! Over priced!

I went to a med spa where they gave me the clenziderm system because I had a bad breakout on my face at the time (from previous products they sold me) and within the first 3-4 days it did clear my breakouts and I thought I struck gold! However, that was short lived, because my face was clear for about a week and then I started having new breakouts and then my face got so dry, flaky and umcomfortable from using the products it was aweful! My skin would be so dry and tight after washing my face at night I couldn't move my face. When I spoke to the lady she told me to continue using it that my skin would get use to it,lol, what a JOKE, it only got worse! So, I discontinued the product and made an appt. with the Dermatologist. Its been over a mth now since I've used it and my skin is still not back to normal. This product was just way to much for my skin! The only good thing is I use the BP serum (just a little) as a spot treatment and that seems to be ok, as long as I don't use a lot.
