Burt's Bees : Natural Acne Solutions Kit

This system really works so to me the price is well worth it i have tried everything even proactive and nothing worked...... but this system really works i have used this for a 2 months and 1/2 EVERYDAY 2 times a day the cleanser the scrub the spot treatment the blemish treatment and the moistuizer it DOES NOT dry your skin out and some of the comments i read that said it did, thoes people did not use the moistuizer. again i purchased the entire set so i think i am more sure of the full 100% working ability of this system . i think my review is a little more correct than others... i mean you can't just buy one item and say ok this does not work or it leaves my skin dry it is ment to work as a set and it is by far the best thing i could have done for my skin i am actually a 25 year old bi racial female who has had severe acne since the age of 12-13 i have been to doctors skin treatment centers but none of that really worked foe longer than a month ..... but this acne system REALLY works and it gets better from the first time if used as a whole set.... so in other words it does not get worst to get better also it has directions that say on the box use 2 times a day everyday i do not think you should write a review if you do not use the prodouct the way it is ment to be used because that creates a false review this is my personal experience and i love it and would recommend this to any and everyone

Ive been using this stuff, im on my third week. I use it once a day.What people are saying about being allergic to it, thats what I thought, but honestly its just taking all that gunkout! trust me the BREAKOUT WAS HORRIBLE!! trust me people I know a bad breakout i have many of them, when mines get bad i dont even want to leave the house cuz ppl stare at me. I had cysts EVERYWHERE, mostly under my jawline and scars. unbelievably painful. I took painkillers everyday,which helped, and camomile tea steams. but the breakout was only for the first two weeks. I was really close to giving up, like all the zillions of other products ive used.btw the cyts if u dont pick will turn white. I know its hard I pick all the time, but just let it pass. anyway this is week three, I also brought some clinique makeup which I wear ontop of the BB ACNE SYSTEM. and it really keeps my hands from picking and lets the product work. Let me tell you my acne has drasically changed. from those cysts (some of which I popped) i drained some puss and it started healing. THE SPOT TREATMENT is a must if u wanna do this acne system. I was using it without the spot treament and its really hard. just makes things easier to have it. anyways with the makeup, i dont have the cysts anymore, just a bunch of tiny smallest blackheads ive ever had. they are really crusty to the touch, all over, as if you have sand on your face, and they fall of if you lightly scratch them. I still have many scars all over from the intial breakout, but so far, its really improving. think of it this way people, accutane and everything that actually works takes time to do its thing. BB acne solutions is a miracle really, just give it time and let it go crazy on you. accutane even gives ppl really bad breakouts like 2 months. Just stick through it.

I recently bought the package, Burt's Bees Acne Solutions which includes the Cleanser, Lotion, and the Spot Treament which is to use for the trouble areas. So far, it's been FANTASTIC even though I've been using it for a couple of days! I've been having trouble with acne for a couple of years now... And all the products I've been using just made it worse. I never tried using Proactive - I was too scared to because of all the reviews it got! At least 5 of my friends had terrible results because of this product. So that's why I never used it :) Anyways, the Burt's Bees Acne Solutions package is a definite MUST-HAVE! When I washed my face with the Cleanser, my skin felt so refreshed and brand new! I don't have serious problems with acne at all... Maybe an occasional breakout here & there but not much. This product is really helping me maintain this clear skin I already have - a few blackheads I got literally shrunk & disappeared :D I know lots of you don't like the packaging of this product, but for me it's no biggy. STEPS FOR USING PACKAGE PRODUCT: 1. Squirt at least a nickel-sized portion of the Cleanser into the palm of your hand. Run into your hands until it turns soapy-like & white. Lather onto face & after 10 seconds on your face, wash COMPLETELY off. 2. Tilt the Lotion to its side and squirt a penny-sized portion. If you squirt it straight up, it misses your hand and goes all over the bottle. Rub it on your hand and PAT the lotion all over your face. If you rub it on your face, it'll be too much lotion you're applying. 3. For the small bottle (Spot Treatment), tilt it to its side and squirt about 5 droplets onto a cotton ball or square. DAB it onto the worst areas of your face which has the most trouble spots. 4. Wash your hands! I have been using BB for 2 months now. I broke out in acne (ladies, i'm sure you can relate) at that time of the month, it was all over my chin and cheeks and would last about 2 weeks. It was so annoying! I tried everything, I was a firm believer of proactive and used it as well, and i loved proactive, but one day i was sitting at home and a commercial came on for BB i decided to give it a try, on the back of the bottle it states, "using other topical medications at the same time or immediately following this product may cause irritation OR DRYNESS" so with this said i would like to point out that the other reviewers stated they were using other things while BB. I for one stopped immediately using proactive and decided to just try BB. I bought the entire package, and my face immediately felt moisturized and clean. it felt tingly and clean, and the spot treatment burns a little when you first put it on but it goes away and i immediately felt like it was working it's magic, and follow that by the lotion and it truly is magic. I no longer use proactive, i am hooked. and, when it's that time of the month, i get a tiny bump and it doesn't fully develop it's gone within a day. I've recommended this to friends and they have told me the same thing. I will never use anything else. It's amazing! and like i told my friends....everyone should at least try it. but, if you're going to use it follow the directions and don't use other medications while using this, you can always go back to them if this doesn't work for you, AND if you're gonna spend the money on it might as well get the whole package. it's well worth it!

I had a bad break out for the past 4 months, (well, actually i have been struggling with acne for 12 years now on and off) and really run out of the cream that my doctor gave me back home in Indonesia so I tried a few product to ease the redness and swelling with no satisfying result until I found this product. I have been using it for 1 week and it has reduced the big fat acne, small pimple, whitehead and blackhead significantly. I used this in the morning and BP 10% at night and very happy with the result. Yes it cause dryness but it is easily solve with simple moiturizer once a day over the daily face lotion. Really recommended this product to the others who suffers from a bad acne.

So I bought the face wash and blemish stick at Wegmans about a week ago since I was completely out of my erythromycin prescription and would need to wait like 2 weeks to get it refilled. I wanted to try something a little new so this is what I bought, along with a 10% benzyl peroxide gel and some vitamin e capsules. Before I ran out of my prescription I was using vitamin e oil on my face which worked extremely well at first but after a few uses made me break out in places I don't usually break out so i stopped. I couldn't be more happy with the results, seriously my face is brighter, softer, and clearing up quickly. I don't know if I'll go back to my prescription. So every morning I wash my face with the burt's cleanser and use a simple neutragena moisturizer. Then after a few minutes I'll apply the blemish stick. Then I take the miracle vitamin e pill with breakfast (don't take it on an empty stomach since it needs fat to be absorbed). At night I do the same thing but after I apply the blemish stick I wait a few minutes and dab the benzyl peroxide gel in spots I still have some issues with. I'm convinced that vitamin e is a key player here, since it promotes circulation, cell turnover, controls oil and even dryness. Before I was using it my face was extremely dry even with a moisturizer but the results are amazing even after just a week.

I am now clear and GLOWING for the first time in my life. I look so much healthier. I've lurked on this site for over a year researching products to get my acne under control, and this is the first product that has made me feel the need to share my success. Try It. My full regimen: AM: Drink hot lemon water. Burt's Bees Gel Cleanser and moisterizer, spot treatment if needed (rarely, this stuff is awesome). PM (Spring, Summer, Fall): Burt's Bees Gel Cleanser and either their moisterizer or the Neutrogena Anti Aging / Anti Blemish Clear Up Cream, then if needed Clearasil Adult Acne Sulfer treatment on spots. PM (Winter): Neutrogena Anti Aging / Anti Blemish Scrub and Clear Up Cream. Clearasil Adult Acne Sulfer treatment on spots. I only use Neutrogena in winter (and occasionally in other seasons) because the AHA in the cleanser is too harsh with the sun for my fair, fair skin.

I've had annoying acne ever since I was 12 and for a really long time I used ProActive which I now realize only made my skin worse. I switched to Aveeno for a while and that helped a lot so I decided to go one step further and try a natural product line. So I've been using Burts Bees for about a month now and I don't want to jinx it I think my skin problems are pretty much over. I use the peach and willowbark scrub as my cleanser. I love the way it smells. At first I was a little weirded out by the slight film it seems to leave behind but I haven't experienced any problems because of that. Actually I think it helps to not dry out my skin. I also use the herbal blemish stick which seems to be almost magical it's so effective. If I use it a few times a day on an "about to be" blemish then it goes away within a day. I also use vitamin e oil and petrolium jelly on dry spots at night and that helps keep me moisturized. I've been using the acne line cleanser for about 10 days with my Clairsonic and my skin has cleared up almost completely. I had hormonal breakouts along my chin and almost regular breakouts on other areas of my face. I've been using this cleanser and PTR acne spot treatment and my face has almost completely cleared up. I just added the moisturizer that is part of the acne line and I'm also very pleased.

I've been using a few products from the Acne Solutions line - the cleanser and spot treatment. I haven't had any cystic spots, whiteheads, or huge breakouts but my face is still very pimply and my blackheads are the same. If it seemed to be working for more people I would try the rest of the products in the line but I don't feel I should spend another $20 if I can try something new. Good for light acne but won't make a huge difference for troubled skin.
