Pros:

Initially made my skin feel clean but not dry (healthy) and it's organic

Cons:

Made my skin terribly oily and after about a week of using it, many patches of whiteheads formed on my face

Not really worth it, I bought the burts bees acne solutions line because I believed it would be healthy for my skin but really just made it extremely oily and break out. The moisturizer seemed to be the worst as it was not light at all and didn't smell great.

Pros:

All Natural, smells good, and no chemical smell.

Cons:

I don't think it worked very well for me. I have combination skin and it didn't do much for the parts of my face that weren't oily.

Great product for some people and good all natural alternative, it just doesn't work for me.

Pros:

I like that there are no phthalates or parabens in Burts Bees products.

Cons:

Salicylic acid stuff has strong chemical smell. Spot treatment smells like licorice. VERY strange combination.
I did not find this stuff effective at all.
EXPENSIVE.

I was really excited about this product reading all the reviews, but a month's use did not make any difference to me. I was not using the cleanser; I used my regular cleanser, then used the spot treatment and Burts Bees salicylic acid day lotion. Although it didn't make anything worse, I saw no effect from the spot treatment and the salicylic acid did not seem to have the advertised effect on redness. Plus, this stuff is EXPENSIVE. I suspect the only benefit of the spot treatment is to disinfect the area around the pimple before squeezing, and you can use rubbing alcohol for that.

Pros:

Not expensive

Cons:

Drys out your skin alot!

I've been using the spot treatment for a week, and it seems to make me breakout really bad more than what I started before I was using it! And it leaves my skin really dry. I'm not sure if I should keep using it longer to see results, but it seems like it's not working.

Pros:

Moisturizer is good to have if you have dry or combination skin
A little goes a long way
Easy to use

Cons:

Did not work
Smells a little bad
Made my face worse
Spot treatment bottle was really small, and was the only thing that did work.

I had really high hopes for these products. I have kind of dry skin and I normally only get pimples on my forehead and blackheads on my nose. So, my acne is pretty light. After using this product for a few weeks, morning and night, the first week it seemed to be working really well, my skin tone was evening out, some blackheads were disappearing, but then things took a turn for the worse. I got a pimple on my chin and my cheek, which never happens. That night I used the face wash and moisturizer, and when I woke up the next morning my forehead was a MESS! Not with pimples, but all little bumps and a lot of redness. I immediatly stopped using this and went back to my old product (Clearasil Ultra). To this day I am still trying to get my face back to the way it was before Burts Bees and I'm finding it very difficult and really frustrating. The only good thing about the Burts Bees stuff I bought was the spot treatment. I saw a pimple coming up and put it on at night, and the next morning it was barely there. But, the downside is that the bottle is the size of my pinky finger and if you use it every day/night you will run out very quickly. This product did NOT work for me, however everyone's different so maybe it will work for someone else.

-Natural

Cons:

-The scrub leaves a film

I wish this worked, I really do. I love Burts products more than anything, but I was just so disappointed with this product. Try it, maybe it will work for you. It just didn't for me.

Pros:

its natural

Cons:

it didnt make my acne go away.
i have more painful pimples.

it worked at first and i put the tomato toner with it hoping that it would work even better but it didn't. the cleanser didnt feel like it really cleaned and my face was oily 2 hrs after using the system. im still on my quest to find something that works for my skin. wish me luck!

Pros:

made face less red.

Cons:

I used this product for about 10 days and it caused me to breakout with cystic acne all along my jawline. I ended up having to go to a dermatologist and now i'm using retin-a, duac, and solodyn which seems to be working.

Nothing against Burts Bees, i love their chapstick and handsalve. I think i must have been allergic to something in their formula b/c of the way my skin reacted to it.

Pros:

I like the smell and the fact that it is natural and organic. I have sensitive body systems and was hoping that natural meant safer and better...

Cons:

I have been using the lotion and the blemish stick for about a week and have the worst breakout I have had in a very long time.

I came on here to see if the breakout was one of those one-time "clear it all" kind of things, but see that many who did experience a break out continue to with this product. May keep the rest for non-face acne, but as for my face I'll go back to clean and clear.
