Pros:

(Soap Bark & Chamomile deep cleansing cream) Smells great, feels great doesn't over dry. Calms my skin, helps with redness and diminishes my pimples.

Cons:

Doesn't completely clear up my skin, blemish stick and many other products are not available, extremely expensive or hard to find in Canada.

I have really dry and sensitive skin, and about three years ago started breaking out like crazy. I have tried soooo many products but keep coming back to this one. However it never completely clears up my skin so every so often I will try something else but then I end up breaking out and coming back to this one which helps straighten me back out very quickly.

Pros:

Natural ingredients, improved skin texture, minimized pores.

Cons:

most moisturizers are too rich

I've been using Neutrogena Oil-free Acne Wash for years with so-so results. After reading positive reviews I switched to Burt's Bees products and am glad I did. My regimen includes washing with Garden Tomato Soap followed by the Garden Tomato Toner. Occasionally I need to exfoliate, so I'll use the Citrus Facial Scrub before using the Tomato soap and toner. Once a week I'll use the Pore-refining Mask (green clay). The Carrot Day Cream is very rich and feels great when first applied, but makes my face extra greasy as the day wears on. Overall, my breakouts aren't any worse, but my pores appear much smaller and the texture of my face is smoother and softer than it has ever been.

Pros:

Tomato toner keeps me acne-free; blemish stick works well on many pimples; Baby Bee moisturizer is very gentle; products are natural and relatively eco-friendly

Cons:

Most moisturizers way too rich for acne-prone skin; can't always find certain products in some stores

I've been using Burt's Bees products for about 4 years consistently. My skin is not 100% clear (I get pimples on my jawline during my period, which Burt's doesn't seem to be able to do much about), but it's much better than it used to be. My skin gets much worse when I don't use the garden tomato toner. I've tried all of Burt's cleansers and have settled for using their latest cream one that comes in a tube (blanking on its name) because the other cream cleansers are a bit too rich (though the lemon poppyseed one smells phenomenal!) and the tomato soap was inconvenient in bar form. This newest cleanser seems adequate enough, but I suspect it's really the toner and blemish stick that get the job done. (The blemish stick works BRILLIANTLY on pimples that are somewhat "open" -- if the liquid can get inside the pimple, it'll kill it dead in no time. It's less effective when it just sits on top of the zit, unfortunately.)

Pros:

Mostly natural ingredients

Cons:

My skin is greasy within 10 minutes of washing my face with the Peach and Willowbark Scrub.

Just switched from Dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel (which I love, but I'm trying to decrease the amount of chemicals in my products). I've only been using this scrub for 2 days, but I do not like the greasy feeling at all and will not use it anymore, I may try the tomato soap next.

Pros:

Clears and tightens pores, clears underskin congestion and larger blemishes. Inexspensive and convenient to find.

Cons:

It has alcohol in it which I have always been old is not a good thing to put on your skin. Glass bottle and bar soap-kind of a pain but worth it.

I have used proactive for a long time and still always had some sort of skin somthin going on. It was just okay and then it seemed to totally stop working. Anyhow, I ran out of it and ended up trying Burt's on a whim cause the thought of going to the mall to buy proactive was dreadful. I am SO HAPPY I did! My skin has honestly NEVER looked or felt this good> I got the tomato bar soap cleanser, the tomato toner(alcohol), the french clay mask and the blemish stick. All of them are fantastic except for the blemish stick. I don't think it does too much-not drastic anyway. The rest of it is great. My pores have never been this clear and small, my skin has never been this smooth and clear. I was certain that if it worked it would dry out my face but it doesn't at all. I do use a good moisturizer though (Bobbi Brown). I highly reccomend this to anyone with acne issues. If anyone cares I'm 28 so this works well on all ages I would imagine. Good luck!

Pros:

Tomato toner rocks! And I love their chapstick!

Cons:

Burt's bees herbal blemish removing stick- stung and irritated the skin...made the blemish last longer than if I just leave them alone.

Pretty great!

Pros:

Tomato toner has nice smell, doesn't overdry sensitive skin.

Cons:

Peach & willowbark scrub did nothing. I have very mild acne and I found my face was greasier than ever using it. It was also hard to wash off.
Didn't notice any significant change using herbal blemish stick, either.

I just went back to my neutrogena foaming cleanser after about 2 months of the scrub. I still use the tomato toner. Was not impressed at all with the scrub.

Pros:

Helps clear skin, makes it smooth and more even, definitely tightens pores, smells nice, feels nice, doesn't dry out my skin.

Cons:

Hard to find in UK, glass bottle.

This is the only toner I've ever used that has made a consistent difference to my skin. And I've tried hundreds. In fact, I had come to the conclusion that toners were a waste of time and money. I've changed my mind. First got it in a kit, as a gift, and had to hunt it down after a week of use as I was hooked. It's now well beyond the honeymoon phase and still working. My skin is a LOT better than it was, very clear and smooth.

Pros:

smells great, brightens skin

Cons:

the poppy seeds get in the sink!

burt's bees lemon poppyseed facial cleanser is great! this stuff actually brightens my aging skin and i love the way it smells. the trick is to wash it off with a washcloth.

Pros:

Great for clearing up the face.

Cons:

Tomato Toner is no longer available.

I've been using the Tomato Toner and Carrot Day Creme for about a year, after buying a sample pack of their products. These are the best (tried pro-active and others). It took about 2 weeks for my face to adjust, but my face hasn't been this clear in years. I apply the creme before my makeup and this gives it a great complexion to start. I don't have to use as much foundation either, and if I don't want to use makeup, I don't have to. On warmer days, the creme can be oily, therefore I just use a little less.
