Pros:

Love this moisturizing lotion. I moved away from the beach and to the snow. My skin was so dry. I tried everything for 4 years. Then I found this from reading reviews on this website. It is the only lotion that keeps my skin from being dry and does not give me acne. I love it and the bottle last a long time so it is a great deal.

Cons:

none

Just try it trust me you will love it. It seems like a lot of money but the bottle is so big that is in not.

Pros:

Once applied it's very matte and not shiny at all! Takes all the flakes away and my skin feels really soft.

Cons:

None, except I wish like everyone else there was SPF in it!

I use this in Dan's Regimen, and noticed it does kind of leave some white residue and clump if either not worked in enough or too much, respectively. I'm going to try mixing in some Jojoba and see how it works then. Overall I really like this moisturizer, I think everyone should try it, especially if you have oily or sensitive skin!

Pros:

Moisturizes incredibly well; doesn't leave behind ANY white residue; your hands aren't sticky after applying it to your face or other body parts; non-comedogenic (doesn't clog pores); actually developed with dermatologists; maintains skin barrier

Cons:

Expensive

Greatest moisturizer I've ever used!

Pros:

Love it, doesn't make my sensitive skin break out. Got hooked when it was the only thing that worked on my poor skin with Accutane. Great for Eczema too!

Cons:

It seems a bit greasy at first, but it does get better (or did for me). A little pricey BUT the size is larger than most.

Okay, I am extremely skeptical with products, I have tried them all. I had never heard of Cerave until I decided to try Accutane (a very nice nurse suggested it to me because my doctor was a... This nurse loaded me with samples because the product had helped her daughter so much who had skin just like mine). I had such a reaction with eczema, super dry cracking skin, and a horrid flare up with the medicine that my normal Khiel's cream did not even slightly alleviate, but this did. If you prefer a cream, there is one, it's definitely heavier than the lotion but just as good. I am preferable to the lotion. My skin doesn't generally soak any lotion, nor can I use any toners because it just sits on my skin which puzzled the doctors, however this for whatever reason does. If you perhaps have an issue in regards to having stuff not soak your skin well and your skin is not only sensitive but greasy and dry, I recommend you try this. If you have a doc ask for samples to try, then buy.

Pros:

not a single breakout, great moisturizer, great price

Cons:

no SPF--can't wear in summer; wish they had a travel sized one too

I break out from everything except this stuff. It moisturizes even though I use Renova. BUT, and this is a biggie, NO SPF. No idea why, but can only use this during non-summer months.

Pros:

Excellent consistency, non-greasy upon drying, moisturizes very well

Cons:

Pricey maybe? But I feel it is worth it

Not sure how this lotion is not that popular yet, because it's by the far the best I've used to date. It feels much better than Cetaphil, and doesn't leave a greasy residue. Cetaphil also caused me to break out, this didn't. I would highly recommend it for anyone on Accutane or for those following Dan's regime

Like an ex you keep running back to ;)
My derm recommended this moisturizer to me several years ago and it's the one thing I can say saves my skin. Any time I stray from it my skin reminds me of what it really wants! Then I keep going back... Used morning and night (I live in the desert w 0% humidity and hard water so hydration is a must for me) it helps w the dryness and flakiness I've had w any acne product. I started Dans regimen 8 days ago and just couldn't stick w his moisturizer. It was still leaving me a scaly mess! And it broke me out so much. I just switched back to Cerave and can already see the difference. Hopefully this w dans cleanser and bp will finally be the perfect balance for me. As frustrating as it is to hear, you really have to try a product for yourself before you know if it works. Certain ingredients will work for you and some won't, and reading 1,000 reviews isn't gonna change that. Listen to your body, be gentle (like Dans advice!) take everything you read here with a grain of salt, and don't stress too much!

Love it.

Pros:

Very moisturizing
Non-greasy & Lightweight (If you use reasonable amount)
Noncomedogenic

Cons:

Greasy if you use to much

CeraVe moisturizer has to be one of the best products I've ever used. It doesn't seem to be to heavy, and if you use a reasonable amount it wont be greasy either. It's by far the cheapest high quality product (contains Hyaluronic acid and ceramides) and only cost me about 13$. I would recommend it as a face lotion and especially as a body lotion.
