clogging

I read a lot of reviews before buying this and was not impressed once I got it. my skin felt hydrated but after about a week of use, i noticed that my blackheads in my chin and around my nose were worse than ever and also started getting white hard bumps in my cheeks that I had to extract using a needle. I didn't use it much after that and didn't look back. Blackheads stopped getting so bad and the white things eventually stopped too.

So far so good
My skin is oily at tmes and dry at times but this moisturiser has been giving me relief from the irritation of topical lotions. Only been using it a short time, but for now I'm happy. I just use it once at night because unfortunately it does leave a very greasy look to the skin. A small amount is all that is needed. EDIT** I test patched this on my next and forehead..they have both broken out with pimples everywhere. Don't recommend.

disappointed me.
I had great expectation of this product because of my pleasant experience with Cetaphil cleanser. But, this moisturizer disappointed me. It is nothing more than an over-the-counter greasy moisturizer. I didn't even dare to try putting it on my face. I am now using it as a hand cream. It was like applying oil to my hands. Although the lotion will eventually be absorbed, it doesn't bind water well. I would say that even Vasline is better than this one.

not for acne
This is a great product for dry skin not prone to breakouts. I have combo skin that's very breakout prone. I tried it on a few dry areas and ended up with clogged pores in those areas I used this lotion.

Made Face Red
I decided to try this, along with the usual regimen of a cleanser and benzoyl peroxide. I don't know why, but it caused my face to get really red. I think it's because it doesn't combine well with benzoyl peroxide. The lotion is pretty thick and clumped with benzoyl peroxide. It has an odd smell to it. I won't use it again.

Too greasy/broke out easily
Type: mild acne/acne prone skin/ summer: oily/ winter: dry) I used it as a face moisterizer. Better to use on your body than face. Pros: *hydrates skin Cons: *makes face feels greasy and oily *Made me broke out after a few uses Not for people with really oily skin. People with oily skin should not use moisterizers with oil in them such as this one ((this prouct uses Macadamia Ternifolia (Nut) Oil)). Water based or oil free moisterizers work best for oily skin type. Maybe good for people with dry skin.

Didn't work for me
If you have dry skin then this product could work for you. I have extremely oily skin and this product did not control it what so ever in fact I felt it made my oily skin worse. The more oil my skin produces the more acne I get so after months of using this product my face was filled with acne. If you have extremely oily skin like me PLEASE stay away from this product. I find the only thing that works for me is a mattifying moisturizer.

AHHH

Pros:

soft silky smooth skin
healthy glow
great foundation base

Cons:

CLOGGED PORES
CLOGGED POREEES
lumpy lumpy skin gwoss pimples ugh

I've tried this lotion and the facial one with spf15. They both provided a silky smooth canvas for my makeup, I loveeed the way they gave my skin a soft glow and they actually reduced my oil production dramatically. BUT, BUT, BUT OMG. CLOGGED PORES EVERYWHERE. PLACES I DIDN'T KNOW WERE POSSIBLE In a few days these moisturisers have wreaked havoc on my face. Cetaphil, you suck.

Breaks me out :(

Pros:

Very hydrating
Great for dry skin

Cons:

Broke me out
A bit oily

I have very dry skin and it's been very hard to find an acne-safe moisturizer that's moisturizing enough. This has been the only thing that moisturizes my face enough to be able to put on foundation and have my face not be flaking by the end of the day. That's why I was so sad when I saw about 3 new pimples the day after I used it. This is the second time I've tried it. The first time, I broke out as well, but I couldn't pinpoint what was making me break out as I changed a few things about my acne regimen all at once. But now I know I definitely can't use this. :(
