Very effective
Less seems to be more. At first I must have been applying on too much because this lotion was staying on my face for a long time, but when I started applying just a pea-size amount, my skin soaked it in no problem, and my face would feel very nice. I went through a lot of moisturizers that would combat dryness after applying BHA, but none have been effective as this product.

Will make you look like a greaseball
I used this moisturizer for about two years, back when I first tried the Regimen (2010-2012). It did its job, and kept me almost completely flake-free, even with 2x-daily Benzoyl Peroxide application. Unfortunately, the moisturizer never really absorbed too well. There was always a shiny film on my face. In addition, my skin would obtain a reddish glow whenever I applied this moisturizer over BP. Basically, my skin was moisturized and more or less acne-free, but it was also shiny and red. Looking back, I'm surprised I stuck to the same regimen for as long as I did.

Made Face Red
I decided to try this, along with the usual regimen of a cleanser and benzoyl peroxide. I don't know why, but it caused my face to get really red. I think it's because it doesn't combine well with benzoyl peroxide. The lotion is pretty thick and clumped with benzoyl peroxide. It has an odd smell to it. I won't use it again.

Great Moisturizer for Regimen--but at a cost.

Pros:

very moisturizing all day long
quite inexpensive
can be used on body or face

Cons:

poor for under makeup if on Regimen (balls up, creates uneven canvas)
Very greasy-like texture. If sweating, it will drip from face.
No SPF

Suffices to say, I would never apply any body cream to my face unless I wanted to breakout badly. That is, with this as an exception. I've used many high end creams (Estee lauder, Elisabeth Arden, etc) that boast of moisturizing ultra dry skin and proving 24 hours moisture and other nonsense. This is the only cream I found to actually deliver with that claim. When not using BP: It's texture is smooth and glides on well. It will leave a bit of shine. And if you sweat, it will start to run off. However it is a simple fragrant free moisturizer that does what it claims. When using BP: It's difficult to apply it as Dan says. It's sticky and will not glide well at first I find that if you wait a few minutes after applying it, it will warm up enough that you can smoothly glide it. Definitely will make your routine longer in the morning. Being in the regime now, I found after it has fully absorbed (within 5-10 minutes), my face will be quite shiney and sticky. I have to take a napkin (serviette, not tissue), unfold it open until it's thin sheet, and place it against my face. It can be a bit silly because the residue and stickiness of the cream will have the sheet stick easily to my face (walking paper napkin, whee!). But I basically blot off the excess, which works well. Pro tip: don't buy expensive oil-control paper, just use napkins :P. So, this cream does not work well under makeup. I find within 2-3 hours, I'll already have a shiny t-zone, and if I touch it, oils will easily transfer off. MOST IMPORTANTLY: Yes, this moisturizer balled up for me. After applying it, it was fine. But when applying makeup on top, the cream would ball up, and create an uneven canvas. So now I have to remove the balling by rubbing my face in a circular motion before putting on my cream. Quite cumbersome. I'm looking to switch now that the bp has caused me to develop some fine lines, and this cream cannot combat that. Lastly, this product is widely considered to clog pores (although it says it does not). I'm not sure if my issues are because of the cream. But it certainly doesn't make it better, if anything. When first starting the regimen, when my face was going through the dreaded hardening phase with excessive drive patches, this cream did wonders. If I did not apply cream, my face would be extremely tight and flaky. Immediately when this cream was applied, my face calmed. Yay long winded reviews!

Breaks me out :(

Pros:

Very hydrating
Great for dry skin

Cons:

Broke me out
A bit oily

I have very dry skin and it's been very hard to find an acne-safe moisturizer that's moisturizing enough. This has been the only thing that moisturizes my face enough to be able to put on foundation and have my face not be flaking by the end of the day. That's why I was so sad when I saw about 3 new pimples the day after I used it. This is the second time I've tried it. The first time, I broke out as well, but I couldn't pinpoint what was making me break out as I changed a few things about my acne regimen all at once. But now I know I definitely can't use this. :(

No luck with this entire brand

Pros:

Cheap
Avaiable at every store

Cons:

Oily
Cause breakouts
No SPF

Made my skin extremely oily and greasy looking. I do not have oily skin or dry skin my skin is just right in the middle. After using this my face was so oily it looked gross and I needed to boot my face throughout the day which was something I never had to do before. The moisturizer never seemed to soak into the skin. It just felt thick and heavy and sat on top of my skin. Also caused a breakout.

Pros:

Intensive moisturization
Doesnt break me out
One bottle lasts a long time
If you use straight after you pat dry your skin it absorbs into your skin
Flakes disappear
After a few days you can go without this as your skin will stay moisturized

Cons:

Can make skin shiny if you use a lot but good for a night cream or when you arent going anywhere

I break out easily from comedogenic products and this doesnt break me out alongside using 5% BP (Quinoderm)

Pros:

- Very moisturizing.
- Very gentle (doesn't sting at all)
- One bottle lasts a long time.
- Doesn't cause me to break out.
- Great for use all over the body (does wonders for my hands!)

Cons:

- Somewhat expensive.
- Can leave face looking a bit too oily if too much is used (I have found that by patting with a clean paper towel *extremely gently* can remove some of the oily shine from the areas that seem to advertise the fact that I've applied a moisturizer [i.e. my nose])

This is a great moisturizer that can be found almost anywhere - although you may have to do a bit of shopping around to find the best price. I love the fact that a single regular size bottle of this stuff lasts a very long time.

Pros:

- Relieves skin when using BP
- Nice to apply
- Fragrance free --> avoids irritation

Cons:

- A bit expensive
- Leaves skin a bit oily

I ordered this product on Amazon, since I can't get Dan's products without another 50$ or so delivery costs, and it arrived last in my "Regimen-Pack", so I didn't use moisturizer with my BP treatment for about a week or so. That was horrible! I was so desperate to moisturize my skin that I used my non-fragrance free body moisturizer which left my skin itchy, burning and red throughout the day. You can imagine how relieved I was, when this finally arrived! It's wonderful in combination with The Regimen's BP treatment, since it moisturizes the skin a LOT and relieves it of most of the flakiness caused by BP almost immediately. It leaves the skin a bit oily, though, but I can cope with that as long as I get rid of my ace :)
