It average...but love and hate relationship

I would gave it a 4 stars, but I do have this love and hate relationship with this product. Yes it moisturizes, but it felt like it was just on top of the skin instead of penetrating through the layers of skin. I tried to put a light layer, and still kinda felt that it was sitting on top of skin. Also, it felt that it sometimes stings my face (which is kinda weird if this is supposed to be GENTLE and suitable for normal to dry skin and also sensitive skin as well). I think this is more ideal if you have dry skin, and also for the winter just to be put on to protect the cold weather or even dry cold weather (like where I live at). However it feels like it is doing something but not really type.

My current regimen:

Morning: Nothing (unless if there's a special event then gently cleanse with soap bar for 30 to 45 seconds, rinse, pat dry, and moisturize). If skin feeling tight/dry then slap on moisturizer (current fav vanicream cream).

Night: Cleanse with dove soap bar. If had makeup, then cleanse twice for 30 seconds. Every 2 to 5 days (or just when my skin needs it) exfoliate with a device (a baby rag towelette or hand glove exfoliate). Then use moisturizer (current fav vanicream cream).

Budget friendly?: Depending on where you buy it at and also if you buy it as a generic brand.

Does it do its purpose?: YEA-NO. Like I mentioned before, it feels like it is working but it is just right there on your skin.

Would recommend?: It doesn't hurt to try, but take at your own thanng.

Overall, it will not to try it out as a travel size to test it out. However it would be better for people who have dry skin and or who are living at a windy, cold and or dry weather.

Not ideal with regimine, but good hydration
I bought this to use with the regimine. However, this stuff is too thick and causes the BP to pill up with it and even cake in some places, no matter how long I let the BP sit. However, it is still a great moisturizer and noncomedegenic. I will still use it for my neck and body. Occasionally I'll slather it on my face before washing if I wore makeup that day, just to take it off in a non irritating way.

Not good for summer time
I'm still giving this product 3 stars because it really helped me during my acne stage. I used it as an alternative to Dan Kern's moisturizer. Acne.Org products + this baby cleared my acne. Comes summer, I started seeing small bumps on my face like milia. Some of it were red around the eyes, some were the same color as my skin. I stopped using it. I thought I found my forever moisturizer. Use it only on colder days.

Better for body
I've been using this along with the regimen for about 2 months, but I've still been getting clogged pores on my face. I realised that this moisturiser isn't non-comodogenic, and it's whats been clogging my pores. It has been good for the dryness of the regimen, but if it's going to clog pores then what's the point? Make sure your moisturiser is non-comodogenic, guys!!

Great nighttime moisturizer for dry skin
This is a really gentle, effective moisturizer for night time use. I would NOT recommend using during the day in most circumstances. It is a CREAM moisturizer, very thick and will leave a greasy look to your face.

Using cetaphil moisturizer after apply BP
Hello! I'm new to the Regimen and have just begun using benzoyl peroxide this week. After washing my face at night, i allow my skin to dry, then apply benzoyl peroxide. After about 15 min, I use Cetaphil moisturizing cream. I expect my dry skin to feel relieved from the cream, but gradually the burning and itching sensation increases. It is really difficult not to rub or scratch my skin when this happens. Is this normal or is there something wrong with the cetaphil cream? I was wondering if maybe it reacted with the BP

Please don't blindly follow what they say in the paper guide. If you want to be safe just use a little bit more than a pea size of BP. I did follow the instruction from the paper from pea size to one finger length on the second week. It make my face burn and I got really bad blister. So I stopped using the BP for about 1 week only it heal back. Now I using just a little bit more than pea size. It's normal for you to feel itchy when you use BP. We all facing this problem also. Fight for it!

For Body, not the face

Pros:

fragrance free
non comedeogenic

Cons:

doesn't glide
makes face shiny

This cream is creamy like yogurt. When rubbing on body skin, it doesn't spread smoothly as it seems to disappear really fast. Lotions ALWAYS feel much better when applied to the skin as it can glide on the surface and can be spread to different areas of the body. This product requires a "scoop" of the hand which is a waste of product in my opinion, in order to have adequate lubrication to glide over the skin. When applied on the face it is SHINY and make your face appear oily. I can't say it has given me breakouts, but I am in search of something else for the FACE.

Pros:

-Moisturized Well
-Soften
-Gets rid of the flakes from my skin
-Nice Texture
-Hydrates

Cons:

-It BURNS my acne and some part of my face but it will stop burning after a moment but for me acne is for a while
-Itchy, irritates
-It gives my acne redness and severely break out even more...
-Mild Greasiness
-Not for my Skin

This is the first moisturizer ever I have used. I have no recommendation for this product because it gives me more acne on my cheeks and jaws but in the positive side it moisturized well. It burns after I put my BP on. No matter how I put the moisturizer on, it burns! :(

Pros:

-Hydrated my skin really well
-Removed all my flakes
-Big size

Cons:

-Takes FOREVER to apply on
-Heavy, greasy substance
-Didn't break me out?

DO NOT use this if you are on the Acne.org regimen, this stuff will keep balling up even after wait 5-15 minutes to dry your skin from the BP. I would seriously be standing in front of the mirror for 10+ minutes just applying this crap because no matter how many times I gently rubbed it in, the white residue would not go away! I used so many different ways to apply it, I use small amounts, I swiped it side to side, etc, nothing really worked. Also I use the Acne.org Benzoyl Peroxide Gel kind and supposedly balling up isn't not supposed to happen with the gel but it sure as hell happens with this moisturizer. Other than that though I think if you aren't using any face products before applying this product(excluding cleansers) you should be good! Again this is a great product, just wasn't good for my use.

Pros:

Hydrat very well. cheap, specially if you buy it at costco

Cons:

Too creasy, hard to put on, leaves white residules. Burning my face after BP, don't why though. May be my face gotten used to it. Jar's too big, it's like digging in a big hole. Boys may be ok with this

I usually like this. But toward the 2 and 3 week in the regime, this make my face red and very itchy and irritating after BP. Along is OK. I can't take it anymore with this regime. So i have to switch to another one.
