Pros:

completely non comedogenic, helped restore my skin's lipid barrier and the lichochalcone (?) calms my skin when it is irritated

i like it so much with the jojoba oil...i gave a bottle to my friend and she keeps thanking me. She and i had both stopped moisturizing because a lot of moisturizers clog pores...but not moisturizing really weakens skin and it becomes a downward spiral. i am so very happy to be moisturizing again.

Pros:

-Light
-It is absorbed nicely
-Keeps skin from flaking throughout whole day
-Works even when my skin is exposed to freezing temperatures

Cons:

-Stains white clothes
-Sometimes burns upon application (but may just be
my very sensitive skin)
-Expensive

More effective in keeping my face from flaking than Cetaphil and Cerave.

Pros:

- Skin glows in a natural way;
- Skin doesn't feel oily throughout the day;
- yellowish color makes the skin look more uniform;
- Doesn't ball up and is easily spread with BP beneath;
- Skin feels soft and not greasy or pasty;
- Skin doesn't break out even if I apply too much of it.

Cons:

- I can't find any cons!

I have used moisturizers to soften skin from BP treatment for years. I have tried a lot of really expensive brands, and most of them left my skin really oily (i had to pat my skin with a tisse after applying so my face didn't look shiny throughout the day) and this is the first moisturizer EVER that doesn't leave my skin oily, doesn't ball up and doesn't make me break out even if I apply a lot. I found that the yellowish tone of the moisturizer helps in making my skin more even, like it's a very, very light foundation. It helps with the texture of the skin and leaves it incredibly smooth. It's more difficult to apply without the BP underneath (I don't know why, though) but it's a great complement to the regimen and works perfectly well with the treatment and the cleanser.

Pros:

none

the new formula sucks! Originally I was so happy I found this site and thank god I had the old moisturizer before my wedding. I got many compliments about how nice my skin looked and now it is terrible because of the new moisturizer. I gave it an honest try, but using extra jojoba actually DOES clog my pores. Interesting how I can only click on 1.5 for a rating instead of 1. I would give it a 0 if I could. I would like the old formula back!!!

Pros:

Soothing, light, non-greasy

Cons:

Not moisturizing enough, takes long to dry

The new moisturizer is not moisturizing enough for people with dry, sensitive skin like myself. I use about 6 pumps and still get dry flakes. I imagine it is a perfectly good moisturizer for most people with not so sensitive/dry skin.

Pros:

High Quality Skincare Product
No offensive odor
Plumps Skin
Reduces Fine Lines
No Acne Irritation..so far

Cons:

Pump could let out a little less at a time for spot moisturizing

This product is AS good or BETTER than any High-end product I have ever used. Better than Proactiv, Clinique, Murad, Estee Lauder, DDF, Dermalogica, Dr Brandt, Glytone, Phytomer. Basically all the moisturizers that cost up to 10x more than the Acne.org product. Dan should be praised for his commitment to extraordinary product formulation, at a fair price most all of us can afford. Thank you.

Pros:

Good for your skin (supposedly)

Cons:

Not moisturizing enough.

I've been on the Regimen for a good 6-7 years, and I must admit that this moisturizer is nowhere near as useful to me as the original one. When I first started the regimen I was using some "Eucerin" lotion that was by far the best on the market - until it was discontinued. When Dan came out with his original formula it was exactly what I needed, and I'm still using it to the day, though I'm finally running out forever. I've bought a few bottles of this new formula to use when it wouldn't be detrimental, such as the summer when it's not as dry outside, and this moisturizer may be an awesome mix of chemicals, but it just doesn't do what a moisturizer should do, and that's moisturize.

Pros:

Moisturizing/ Aids with flaking
Light Formula
Helps with scarring
Calms skin

Cons:

The fact that those results are only good for an hour or so.

Okay moisturizer. I barely started the regimen and am curious to try the old moisturizer instead of this one.

Pros:

Not oily
moisturizes
smooth skin

Cons:

stings a bit at the beginning

I have very dry skin, but despite what other reviewers experience, this helps get rid of flakiness. I had some stinging when I first started to use this product, but it subsided. I loved the old formula, but it always left my skin shiny and this doesn't. One recommendation I have for other users is if your skin is really flaky apply some jojoba oil at night. This definitely helped me!
November 20, 2010

Pros:

doesn't sting
doesn't clog pores

Cons:

isn't as light as the old moisturizer
doesn't moisturize well--i have to use way too much of it
doesn't help with flakiness
makes skin feel tougher

I'd rather not use lotion with the jojoba oil already in it because it irritates just the skin around my eyes, though I use jojoba oil in varying amounts on the rest of my face. I used the first moisturizer when initially clearing my skin and now that it's clear I don't want to use a different moisturizer! Please bring back the old one Dan! --Thanks
