Pros:

None.

Cons:

Smells weird.
Don't like the weird yellow color, dries yellow.
Sits on top of my skin instead of absorbing into it.
Stings my face, like bad.
Doesn't take care of flakiness.
Doesn't make my face soft.
Greasy.

When I applied it to my face it just stings a lot. So when I read that Dan said it should for awhile, and then goes away doesn't make sense to me. Why should a lotion sting my face? I have BP for that; I am looking for something that makes my face feel BETTER and not worse like it has been. When I applied it (while barely touching skin like advised) it wouldn't rub in, instead just spreads around, so I would let it air dry. And then my face is still dry, so I apply more, still dry. I would have to apply it several times before it would even just cover up the flakiness. I've been on the DKR for 3 weeks now and yes while I understand my face needs to get used to the BP and I will see dryness and flakiness for awhile, I want a lotion that makes my face feel better and not worse. That hydrates my face, instead it just sits on top and smells funny. While I do love the cleanser and the BP and it works like magic, I'm gonna look for a new moisturizer because this stuff isn't cutting it.

Which moisturizer u using now?
January 14, 2011

Pros:

Can't find any.

Cons:

Does not moisturize my skin at all. Skin feels very tight and dry an hour after I apply 4 pumps... Did not help at all with flaking. Even after applying 4 pumps, my face was dry and tight and shiny at the same time. Switched to Cetaphil and never looked back.

Pass on this moisturizer, especially if you are early on the regimen. Cetaphil worked wonders for me.

Pros:

-Goes on easily

Cons:

-Does NOT moisturize well
-Leaves Flakes
-Gave my skin some weird texture
-Requires more pumps than the previous moisturizer which equals more spending

I've been a 2 year Acne.org regimen user and when I heard there was a new moisturizer I was excited to try it out. However after using this product for about 3 months I could not stand it anymore. It left me more flakier and dry than ever before and because it requires more pumps than the previous moisturizer, it ran out faster. I then switched to a different moisturizer and my flakes instantly went away! But even then that moisturizer isn't doing as much justice as the previous acne.org moisturizer did. This moisturizer is a bad case of "If it works, don't fix it".

Pros:

helps reduce redness

Cons:

does not moisturize
leaves many flakes

not effective at all at moisturizing. I use the entire 2 pumps like recommended, but using 2 entire pumps doesnt even really absorb into the skin. Works fine for about an hour or 2 then face becomes extremely dry/flaky

What a shame....

Pros:

NOEN

Cons:

EVERYTHING

I loved the old formula. As soon as i started using this one, i noticed my face was more flaky and greasy. The old formula was absolutely phenomenal. Then he comes up with this new one and tells people to add in jojoba oil to make it moisturizing... Dan, there is no need to "add" other stuff to a moisturizer if it was designed correctly to begin with. You obviously don't really care about us, just became greedy... what a shame. So many people have asked to produce the old formula as well as an option, but its disappointing.

Pros:

Works great
Face feels great
Absorbs fast
Doesn't irritate my face

Cons:

Leaves a light yellow tint on skin
Takes 4-5 pumps to fully moisturize face & neck

This moisturizer does its job. It requires 4-5 pumps to fully moisturize but it does what its supposed to do. My face feels like nothing has been put on it. My face feels soft and healthy. No flaking at all! Absorbs in about 5 minutes for me. Love it!

Pros:

Doesn't sting face
Thicker than the last version

Cons:

Turns face orangey/yellowish tint!!!
Doesn't moisturize. Leaves flakey and dry.
Did I mention the orangeish tint I now have?
Oh, and the orange tint.
Let's not forget the orange freaking tint!!!!

Even with the suggested 3 full pumps and 5-6 drops of jojoba oil my face is extremely flakey. I feel like I am wearing a thick mask. I despise this lotion. It is the devil. It leaves everything to be desired. Don't listen to the creator who says it won't turn your face yellow. The proof is in the pudding. Reddish skin from the b/p combined with yellow tinted moisturezer (can I even call it a moisturizer when it doesn't in fact moisturize?) turns your skin orange. I call bullhockey about it not turning face yellowey. I'm frustrated that no one over in create-this-stuff ville will listen to me and it is deny deny deny. I didn't like the stinging from the last moisturizer but anything is better than orange freaking pastry skin.

Pros:

-Moisturizes a bit

Cons:

-Not as good as the old formula
-Makes my skin congested
-Have to find a new brand

I was looking forward to this new formula the old one worked so well :(....very disappointing. I'm hoping Dan and the Acne.org team will listen to their clients and supporters' reviews and switch back to the old formula (even though it would cost more to do so).
