Pros:

easy to absorb
light but very moisturizing
makes my skin healthy and supple

Cons:

none

I purchased the entire regimen last year and two months after using it, my acne never came back! It was such a miracle that I did not need to keep using the regimen. I was not impressed by this moisturizer at that time so I returned to my old, expensive moisturizer. Recently, my old moisturizer starts drying me out so I decided to use this moisturizer (I still left some when I stopped using the regimen last year) under my regular creme to add extra moisture. I'm so glad I did!!! The moisturizer is very light and easy to absorb (2 pump is too much for me so I use 1 pump each time, maybe that's why it's much easier to sink in my skin than before). I also gently massage until it's fully absorbed. OMG!!! It makes my skin supple and glow naturally without leaving any yellow stain or a greasy feeling! I love how it works on my skin and I'll continue purchasing this product.

Pros:

Light and quick to absorb
Soothes irritated/broken out skin and reduces redness.
Works quickly on very dry skin
Excellent under makeup
Doesn't leave a greasy film or any kind of residue
Excellent value

Cons:

No SPF sun protection
The yellow color can leave stains on white towels if you have extra on your hands and you wipe them (rinse your hands if the moisturizer hasn't absorbed).

I wish I'd tried this moisturizer sooner! I've tried almost everything out there and I've spent hours reading the labels of moisturizers in the drugstore. This is the best moisturizer that I've ever tried, and it's also the best value. This moisturizer is about half the price of anything comparable in the drug store, even when factoring in the shipping. The only downside is that I've had to find a good sunscreen that isn't too smelly and doesn't irritate my skin. I feel like this is a small price to pay for such a fantastic moisturizer. Thank you Dan!!

Pros:

- Skin glows in a natural way;
- Skin doesn't feel oily throughout the day;
- yellowish color makes the skin look more uniform;
- Doesn't ball up and is easily spread with BP beneath;
- Skin feels soft and not greasy or pasty;
- Skin doesn't break out even if I apply too much of it.

Cons:

- I can't find any cons!

I have used moisturizers to soften skin from BP treatment for years. I have tried a lot of really expensive brands, and most of them left my skin really oily (i had to pat my skin with a tisse after applying so my face didn't look shiny throughout the day) and this is the first moisturizer EVER that doesn't leave my skin oily, doesn't ball up and doesn't make me break out even if I apply a lot. I found that the yellowish tone of the moisturizer helps in making my skin more even, like it's a very, very light foundation. It helps with the texture of the skin and leaves it incredibly smooth. It's more difficult to apply without the BP underneath (I don't know why, though) but it's a great complement to the regimen and works perfectly well with the treatment and the cleanser.

Pros:

fragrance free, oil free, sting free. I thought it felt moisturizing and non greasy. Less expensive than Clinique DDMG.

Cons:

it broke me out.

I use the BP treatment gel and this moisturizer. Despite the reduction of acne, I still continue to get one or two. Once an area has healed, I will get a break out in a different area of the face. It cannot be the BP treatment gel because its purpose is to help heal acne. And my acne heals with continued use. I tested the moisturizer by itself. After washing my face and dabbing it dry, I applied the moisturizer. No eye creams no sunscreen and no BP. The next day, I got a breakout on my left cheek. And, this is a problem free area.

Pros:

Lightweight
Fast-absorbing

Cons:

Yellow-ish/brownish stain residue (biggest problem)

Need to reapply multiple times, not very moisturizing

I really have a love and hate relationship with this product. I love how lightweight it is and how it feels like water on my skin once absorbed (it absorbs pretty fast), but I absolutely HATE how my skin looks afterwards. The yellow/brown stain is horrible, and while my skin glows from using the regimen cleanser and treatment and from the after effects of AHA used the night before, the moisturizer covers it all up with the staining (I'm following the regimen to the letter). My sincere wish is to see this product work. I'd like to see the absence of the staining and a little more moisturizing power. I honestly think that the product is amazing in terms of price and the amount that we receive. No product on the market shelves have please me so far because they are too thick or too small in quantity (thus expensive). I really hope Dan re-develops this product! The Regimen has saved me and I can never go back to any other acne cure again, I just wish that this moisturizer can be re-developed so that I can continue to support Dan's products.

Pros:

Moisturizes well
Easy application
Doesn't break skin out
Fairly lightweight

Cons:

Stings a bit in the beginning
Takes a while to absorb (b/c your putting a lot on your face
Greasy, therefore sticky feeling

This moisturizer is a good moisturizer for acne but I think it could be a little bit better! It definitely moisturizes and it's very easy to apply. However, the biggest con, in my opinion, is the greasiness that comes with the it. No matter how long you leave it to dry on your face, my face is consistently greasy and sticky and it's probably (I'm pretty sure) because of the jojoba oil. Taking a while to absorb isn't a HUGE deal because if you think about it, you're putting 1-2 pumps and that's a lot of moisturizer; you can't really complain about that. This slight stinging is manageable b/c it's temporary but the greasiness is quite bothersome. But overall it's not a bad moisturizer! I would, however, consider looking into other moisturizers to supplant.

Pros:

light texture

Cons:

does not moisturize skin enough
makes your face shinny and flaky
takes forever to absorb
leaves yellow stain
strange smell.

I bought the whole set of the regime incl a bottle of jojoba oil. As instructed, I apply 2 full pumps for the whole face with few drops of jojoba oil. After 2 weeks of using, my cheek was always in a very dry condition with flakiness and redness, especially the under eyes area (where i never had acne). My forehead has never had acne and the skin was really smooth with no marks there. So I only used this moisturizer without treatment and my forehead became very flaky and dry. I guess 2 weeks might not be long enough to see the result of acne controlling function of the regime but it should be there where your skin gets adapted to the new moisturizer. Then I decided to stop using this moisturizer for a couple of days. No redness and flakiness no more! My cheek has become normal again and my forehead has gone back to its original smoothy condition. Now I'm still using the cleanser, treatment with jojoba oil but will never touch moisturizer! Not recommended.

Pros:

Moisturizes well
Gives skin healthy-looking glow

I have been using this moisturizer (as part of the Regimen) for about 3 months now, and I have been very pleased with it. At first I was wary due to the negative reviews regarding the new formula, however it has worked fantastically for me. I love the healthy-looking glow it gives my skin and it greatly helps to reduce the dryness that comes along with benzoyl peroxide treatment. You do need to give the moisturizer an adequate amount of time to set and absorb -- your skin may appear yellow during this time. You may have to wait around 15 minutes for this, but in my opinion it is worth it. Bottom line -- I am very happy with this moisturizer and felt compelled to put in my positive review since there seem to be many complaining about the new formula. It is the best moisturizer I have found for me and I hope Dan continues it as it is.

Pros:

No Burning
No Flakiness
Will Not Break You Out
Makes Skin Soft
Less Redness

Cons:

Takes A While To Dry I Guess
Doesn't Work For Several People

I started Master Dans final regime with his sacred products about 4 weeks ago. I bought the cleanser and the treatment but decided to use other moisturizers since Dans new moisturizer was rated low by a vast amount of critics. The cleanser and treatment wreaked havoc on my acne. I was only trying to reduce my acne to just one or two bumps but it was unmerciful. I want my acne back because I'm so used to it. Anywho, about 1 weeks into the final regime I was skeptical about the CeraVa moisturizer I was using, and after watching Master Dans video on why the new moisturizer is superior to the old on I decided to give this (Dan crafted) cream a try. I started to break out again during week twoish. Then I got my new moisturizer. I was expecting it to not moisturize enough. I used two pumps of everything (cleanser, treatment, and moisturizer). To my surprise Dans moisturizer was very moisturizing. Also it made my skin a lot softer and less red. I was very angry that it worked because so many people hate it? As long as you follow Dans guidelines to the letter then i don't understand why it wouldn't work. To all the you critics who were negatively impacted by this product, rethink what you're doing. Are you waiting until the treatment FULLY dries before moisturizing. Have you giving your skin time to get use to the new moisturizer (I didn't have to though). Are you going out into the sun for too long? Are you itching your face? Are you this thickly applying it and letting it air dry? In conclusion I'd like to say that I've suffered from Acne for a long time. If you are suffering from it and want advice, support, or just someone to talk to give shoot me an email at overseerjames@[link removed] I will not judge you and I know what it feels like to have tried everything. By the way, I'm a 17 year old male with hormonal acne from high testosterone and very oily skin if anyone was interested.
