Pros:

It really does shrink pores, dries up visible acne, and leaves skin feeling cool and refreshed. Perfect on a hot summer day, and great for scaring boyfriends and small children.

Cons:

Scares boyfriends and small children. The process of wiping it off with a washcloth, as recommended, can irritate sensitive skin.

I tend to get breakouts caused by hormones around my mouth and generally the lower half of my face. I've tried all kinds of special cleansers in the past, but I've found that using this mask twice a week in conjunction with noncomedogenic (spelling?) face wash, moisturizer, and make-up keeps me as clear as I'm seemingly ever going to get. Break-outs last less time and leave less visible scars with my current routine. I am going to try what someone else suggested and hit the shower to rinse off the mask afterward instead of using the washcloth. Thanks for the heads-up that it will dry skin out if used too much; I was considering moving to 3-4 times a week. By the way, the CVS brand of this product works just as well, but it's much thinner and takes a couple coats. (My pharmacy is often out of the real thing.)

Pros:

Refreshing
Feels Like A Spa Experience ;)
Can Instantly Dry Up Pimples!

Cons:

Did Break Me Out, But Nothing Too Bad

GREAT BUT NOT A MIRACLE WORKER. It is definitely worth a try I did like the experience. The mask was calming, refreshing, relaxing, and amusing on account of it makes you look quite funny! IT WORKED FANTASTICALLY TO DRY UP ALL PIMPLES in sight pow pow! But it did cause other areas to break out that never broke out before :( I think this would be fabulous to use as a spot treatment to quickly zap up the blemishes, but as an overall mask NO. I'm going to try it as only a _spot treatment_ and come back and re-review it because I think it is a very promising method if you can find the correct uses for it. :)

-Fresh feeling immediately after applying
-Reduces redness
-Dries pimples quickly w/ regular use

Cons:

-Sting slighty, but that's because of the Sulfur
-Smells like mint & sulfur

It's a great product and is worth the $5. It's the best mask in your local drugstore!

Pros:

Pleasant smell, easy to use, affordable and appears to work well.

Cons:

Haven't discovered any yet.

I have had on and off adult acne for several years. It's never been really severe but it's always been an annoyance. The most frustrating thing with my skin was the blackheads and large pores on and around my nose. I've used the product now for 4 days and I can see a dramatic reduction in pore size and a decrease in blackheads.

Refreshing
If you've oily skin and deep blackheads that you don't feel up for extracting, this is your go to mask. It smells great, is thick and smooth to apply as long as you remember to keep the cap back on after each use. I used this everywhere on my face because of my severe outspread of breakouts and even on my back where black and whiteheads were popular to scar and grow. When you put it on, you feel ur skin renew in a "cool" minty way, and altho you can't move ur face while using it, it's great bc your pores are beginning to tighten up and stuff. Best of all, for those who have oily skin like I did, you can literally see the oil on the mask as it dries. Inexpenisve and effective for acne sufferers altho I don't recommend this for those with dry skin, ezcema, or blisters bc it will sting. I used to put this on fresh open zits or recently popped ones and it would kind of heal faster, but it'd sting.

Pros:

Smells nice
Lasts long
Tightens skin
Slightly clears blackheads
Makes skin 'glow'

Cons:

Doesn't help pimples
Not a huge impact

I originally used this once a month all over my face, however, I have very light acne so I realized it was only necessary on my nose and chin for blackheads. Using a very thin layer of the masque on my nose and chin helpedy blackheads disappear! Everyone is different though, ive tried so many things that work for other people but not myself. It's important not to use too thick of a layer and to use often and repeatedly for results. Good luck!

Pros:

It works great. Leaves skin feeling invigorated and clean. smells fantastic.

Cons:

Difficult to get out of the bottle after the majority of the product has been used.

I am 16 years old and have had moderate acne since I was about 10. I have tried many products, but Queen Helene mint julep mask has worked the best by far when used consistently I would recommend this to anyone, even those who do not suffer from acne, it leaves your skin feeling great! in fact, I am going to go use it now. :)
