Pros:

Minty Smelling, Easy to use, Effective,

Cons:

Sometimes a hassle to get off, May irritate your eyes if done incorrectly,

I have very severe acne due to stress and products. Overall this mask has shown me a difference for first time use. I was impressed, as organic, natural, leading brands or homemade products hasn't made the cut. If this can make my larger pimples shrink and the smaller ones clear out after a day use, I'm looking forward to the expecting results by next week. Note: I have been having terrible acne for about 4-5 years, my constant search for a cure started weeks after I noticed. I first tried homemade remedies, then the leading brand products, lastly organic brands. I have a problem with spending over $20 for beauty care items as it seems pointless to me. I'm also a high school student so appearance matters whether you like it or not. Not only that the acne made me have low self-esteem, it also irritated me and granted more stress. So as I was reading reviews on different products for a great price, I was astonished as this product had 8/10 recommendations. And usually, I determine buying products like that since people have different taste, opinions and satisfactory factor. Of course, you would think, "Wow, about 5 bucks for this? You gotta be kidding.." but it really works. My expectations scared me whereas, I was ready to be disappointed. So for my first time of use, here's what I did. Simple and easy but it doesn't hurt to detail how someone does something as it may result differently. I washed my face with moderate, room temperature water. I let my face dry slightly (I have a problem with being soaked to an extent where water with consistently drip off). I applied 1/3 of my index finger since I didn't know how much should be used. I caressed it against both my index and middle fingers then generously massaged my chin first as it was the area I had the worst acne. Then, I covered my cheeks and working my way up to my forehead. Surprisingly, a small amount on my finger was enough to evenly cover my face. Dried and done the over-the-sin

Pros:

- Cheap!
- Draws out impurities.
- Contains Kaolin and Bentonite clay, Zinc and Sulfur which are great acne-fighting ingredients.
- Product not tested on our furry friends :)

Cons:

- Initially the smell got to me. But now I kinda like the minty scent.
- Not available in Australia, so I had to order it online.

We use home-made clay masks with similar ingredients at beauty school, so it was great to find a packaged product so similar. Really helps draw out impurities. I also use it as an overnight spot treatment.

Pros:

It helps relax my facial muscles and refresh my face, it is the best overnight zit cream I have ever found, it helps with blackheads and does a good job cleaning up pores, it's really cheap, makes heavy usage of volcanic ash based clay, sulfur, and zinc oxide (which means its good for helping to balance the oil production in your skin, drying out zits, soaking up excess oil, and drawing dirt up out of your pores).

Cons:

- Why is it called "mint"? There's no mint in this product.
- Takes some "expertise" to remove quickly and cleanly (typical of clay masques)
- I'm not too crazy about the scent. I much rather have a traditional mud masque smell than the weird artificial minty smell this masque has.
- It's green. It's very likely household members will make comments if they see you wearing it.

I absolutely love this product. I discovered it when I was pregnant and experiencing the common side affect of breakouts. Since I was pregnant I couldn't use any benzoyl peroxide or salyctic acid based products so I had to find what ever safer means I could to help with the breakouts. I used this masque every night both for help in preventing acne and then spot treating whatever stray pimple may have came through. This is a real overnighter on pimples. Used early enough it can get rid of a pimple overnight and even if I apply it after a pimple is all inflamed by the next morning it is no longer inflamed, smaller, and a lot less noticeable. I must say though that Mary Kay actually found a way to improve upon this masque. They have a masque that uses the same main ingredients and then adds in ground walnut shells. You can use it as either a masque or a facial scrub. That's expensive, though, and this is only about $3 where I live. No way I could have afforded to use it as much as I had to use this while I was pregnant! Anyways, this is most definitely one of the best clay masques I've used. The only really big downside to it is that you're likely to get some comments from anyone that sees you wearing it on account of its classic green color! BTW, the cleanest, quickest, and easiest way to remove the masque is to take a very warm, wet washcloth and press it against your skin everywhere you applied the masque until it is dark green instead of the light green it turns when ever it is dry. Then use the washcloth to gently wipe away the masque, being careful not to rub and also using a different part of the washcloth for each section of your face. Gently rinse your face afterwards.

Pros:

-Good spot Treatment
-Great for Oily skin
-Cheap

Cons:

-Too much usage will overdry skin

I actually started off by randomly looking up reviews for queen helene products, and it turned out 98% of reviews supported this product! So I decided to give it a shot--and it worked! My only downfall was that, because I loved the product so much I was actually going to try to use it every day, which is not a good thing. Using it everyday caused my skin to over dry, and when your skin is dry, its easier for the oils underneath to be stuck and form more pimples. So you always should moisturize your skin with a good oil free moisturizer so the skin is not dry and pores (even though tight) are still managable. Other than that, I love the product, and have slept in it as well on a few occasions. When I wake up, I get a wash cloth that I leave under HOT water, and then take excess water out, make sure the cloth isnt too hot and then gently place it on the face.....<<<<

I have combination skin . Sometimes oily and sometimes really dry. And I was trying to figure out if this will really help alot better if I use it every other day instead of everyday . Becase I think my acne has gotten a little worse because of using it everyday . and I've had acne for a long time and I'm 17 now .
