Pros:

does not test on animals.

Cons:

it is to expensive and doesn't cover well.

I would wear it over liquid foundation because it doesn't cover that well but if you can afford it give it a try.

Pros:

it is paraben free. supposed to be kind of organic

Cons:

it caused a bad break out! within a few hours of use: pimples all over - even in my eye, and that hurts very bad and risks for further infections.

i bought powder and eye shadow from jane iredale. but when i used the powder i instantly got new pimples - in a few hours or so. when i used the eye shadow i got "pimples" on the eye. i don't know what is called in english. i now understand that mica might be the problem since it is an ingredient in both powder and eye shadow. i also had problems with their mascara. it got infections in the eye.

Try it again. The glycolic peels break me out, not Jane Iredale :)

This is exactly what happened to me! I have very sensitive skin and was surprised that a makeup testing for sensitive skin and with relatively clean ingredients would do this. What I've found after similar things happening to me with other products, is that anything with any sort of derivative from a conifer (in this case pine bark extract) causes my rosacea-prone skin to freak out - i.e. large painful cysts in clusters. There could be no other cause in this case, as all my other products remained the same and I had very clear skin before this for over a month. These conifer derivatives are often used to plump up wrinkles, but with pine bark extract there are more benefits. So, I think if you don't have sensitive skin or aren't allergic in my case to conifers, this could work for you. The coverage does last a long time. However, I also noticed it tends to settle in large pores, so if you have those this will make them more noticeable.
