Pros:

it is paraben free. supposed to be kind of organic

Cons:

it caused a bad break out! within a few hours of use: pimples all over - even in my eye, and that hurts very bad and risks for further infections.

i bought powder and eye shadow from jane iredale. but when i used the powder i instantly got new pimples - in a few hours or so. when i used the eye shadow i got "pimples" on the eye. i don't know what is called in english. i now understand that mica might be the problem since it is an ingredient in both powder and eye shadow. i also had problems with their mascara. it got infections in the eye.

Pros:

I loved this product. I have the pure pressed base and a bronzer and I have never found a powder that covers this well. I have always needed liquid base, but with this powder I can get away with just the powder! I still use liquid when Im going out

Cons:

EXPENSIVE!! and can be a little "cakey" if you dont use a good brush and blend with a bronzer

Highly recommended, definitely did not make me breakout more, it covers well and smoothed out my skin. For example, on the areas I had breakouts, after applying, when I looked in the light at an angle, it seemed to smooth them out so that they didnt look so swollen or raised.

ITS CLEARING VERY WELL NOW BUT I GOT ABOUT 4 OR 5 ZITS FROM THIS MAKEUP. IT MAY WORK FOR SOME BUT IT DIDN'T WORK FOR ME AT ALL!!! MADE MY SKIN VERY SHINY!!!

Try it again. The glycolic peels break me out, not Jane Iredale :)

This is exactly what happened to me! I have very sensitive skin and was surprised that a makeup testing for sensitive skin and with relatively clean ingredients would do this. What I've found after similar things happening to me with other products, is that anything with any sort of derivative from a conifer (in this case pine bark extract) causes my rosacea-prone skin to freak out - i.e. large painful cysts in clusters. There could be no other cause in this case, as all my other products remained the same and I had very clear skin before this for over a month. These conifer derivatives are often used to plump up wrinkles, but with pine bark extract there are more benefits. So, I think if you don't have sensitive skin or aren't allergic in my case to conifers, this could work for you. The coverage does last a long time. However, I also noticed it tends to settle in large pores, so if you have those this will make them more noticeable.

Pros:

pretty reasonable coverage

Cons:

Makes my face VERY shiny and my pores look enormous. It begins to congeal after a few hours

I spent over 200$ on a compact, concealer and a brush. A huge waste of money. Beware of bismuth oxychloride. Instead try everyday minerals - its one-tenth of the price and works much better

Pros:

NOTHING!

Cons:

Pricy, melts off of your face so you look worse than you would without makeup

I hated this and regret buying it. It is the most expensive crap that I have ever bought. It made my acne worse because you have to layer your skin with the product and after a few hours your face looks like an oil slick. I have never had such oily skin in my life. Everything went back to normal once I stopped using it however I spent over $150 on the crap, MAJOR DISAPOINTMENT.
