Pros:

Works well for mild to moderate acne.

Cons:

Bleaches clothes. I have lost a lot of clothes as a result of using this product, sweating later and finding my clothes were bleached even though I didn't get the product anywhere near the clothes.

Don't want to alarm people but I think The Mentholatum Company is phasing out the 10% benzoil wash in favor of the Salicylic Acid wash. I can't find the 10% wash anywhere. I have found the 5% wash. I tried the Salicylic Acid wash and had at least 2 new small pimples every day. In addition, my acne started to rage out of control after just 2 weeks even though I used the benzoil peroxide spot treatment, and washed my face at least 3 times a day. If you check out the reviews for Clearasil products you will see that some people respond well to Salicylic Acid. My experience was exactly the opposite. I've been dealing with adult acne for many years. The 10% was one of the few products that worked despite the fact that it ruined much of my clothing. It was a trade-off I was willing to make. I am now going back to my doctor for a prescription to a 10% benzoil peroxide wash. In the meantime, buying up the only remaining bottles that I found at one drugstore in the entire city.

Pros:

I love this stuff. I'm going to buy 2 bottles before I go overseas for a year! Works much better than the expensive brands and competing brands. This $4 bottle works BETTER than the $120 Obagi acne kit I bought. you can't go wrong. back to the basics

Cons:

may dry a little. but if u have jojoba oil, you don't notice a difference

GET IT! My acne was moderate. I mostly have scars, but I did have a lot of random big pimples that would come out. Especially the ones that was under my skin. those are the worst cuz they look like bumps and u can't pop them. However, once I got this, i haven't had any. actually, i did get a small one, but i used the OXY spot treatment along with the washer and it never became an actual bump. so yeah, i love this stuff. The reason y this stuff works is because it sticks with the basics. no fragrence, no fancy ingredients. just straight up benzoyl peroxide @ 10%. Love it!

Pros:

Small bottle - easy to pack for traveling, but the cheap plastic can easily be broken. Consistently work. I have tried $450/treatment cosmetic laser, plastic surgeon's Solvere, Proactiv, Elizabeth Arden, Clinique, Neutrogena, Clerasil, Clean &Clear

Cons:

Try not to get it around the eyes; the fumes will burn your eyes, and you'll start crying/tearing up. It takes a while for your eyes to not get irritated after the fumes irritate it. The formula is extremely runny, and the lid/cap is easily broken.

It will consistently work. Most products that I have tried only works in the beginning. Then after your skins gets accustomed to the product, it stops working/taking effect. It does not clear my entire face, but heavily reduces the amount and severity of my acne. Due to the high benzoyl peroxide, you might see several small bumps like chicken skin appearances due to extreme dryness. The formula did bleach my towel and a little of my front bangs. Try Mederma for acne scars and blemishes; it has helped quickly reduce old and new blemishes. I never had acne in my life until after moving to Cincinnati two years ago from Dallas, TX. Since my skin is extremely oily (almost to a new category of greasy even though I don't work at a restaurant), I use the max face wash and then apply the cleansing pad. I don't even bother to apply moisturizer anymore since I have an unlimited supply of face oil, but apply some sort of lotion or anti-wrinkle serum is necessary around the eye

Pros:

Works pretty well, not neary as harsh as I though it would be. I just have mild acne, so it works great to make sure I have clear, nice skin!

Cons:

It is a little runny, but that's good for when you wash it off. Seems to irritate and sting a little at certain places such as the corners of my nose and just random spots on my face. A little drying, but not much at all.

I'm quite pleased and impresed with this product. Will definitley keep using it. Going to use it right now before I go to bed, actually. (:

Pros:

It dried up the oil that I had around my nose.

Cons:

very dry skin and didn't get rid of the most noticable blemishes.

Pros:

It helped my acne, but did not rid my face of it. It keeps it under control, meaning you probably won't get huge red zits often. It also makes the acne looks less red (if it is).

Cons:

Slightly dries out skin, but it isn't a big deal.

Keeps acne under control and makes your skin look better.

Pros:

Works well on face acne. Cheap. Easy to find.

Cons:

Does not work on body acne at all. Runny. May make skin peel at first.

Good product for small to medium amount of acne. Works even better in combination with other Oxy brand products.

Pros:

Cheap. Lathers/foams up only slightly.

Cons:

extremely runny. May be too harsh for sensitive skin.

Lathers up only slightly with tiny bubbles thus cleaning your skin without completely removing all of your skins natural barriers. So far this product seems to be effective in controlling my light acne.

Pros:

Works fast and the price is cheap.

Cons:

Can often cause skin to feel very dry.

After trying a lot of acne treatments none of them seemed to work, so i switched to oxy as a last resort i wasnt really expecting it to work but boy was a surprised it worked within a week. It does cause my skin to feel a little dry but thats nothing a little face cream cant fix.
