Pros:

Trust me, it works --- under certain conditions

Cons:

It may dry your face too much upon applying

It works. My face was apprently used to all the benzyl peroxide, so I upped the percent by using OXY --- this stuff is 10%. If your face is not at all used to taking bezyl peroxide which is stronger than salicylic acid, I recommend you start with something low. Also you have to consistently make sure that your face gets all the moisture that it needs. It is true that bezyl peroxide dries your face. Even though you may suffer from having oily skin, you need to keep your face happy --- moisture and pH level happy.

Pros:

affordable, works well

Cons:

very drying to the skin

This product is affordable and works well. However, I only use it when my skin gets really bad because it is very drying and can make your cheeks look sunburned.

Great face wash!

Pros:

Gets rid of acne-causing bacteria
Not oily or greasy

Cons:

Can bleach clothing (watch out)
Can be a bit difficult to completely wash off face

This wash is very good at getting rid of acne-causing bacteria. I've been using the 10% solution for about a year now. If you're looking for a scrub, this isn't what you need. Oxy also make a daily exfoliating scrub that can be used in conjunction with this wash. P.S. It's actually a good hair bleacher as well, I have blonde bangs now.

Pros:

Small bottle - easy to pack for traveling, but the cheap plastic can easily be broken. Consistently work. I have tried $450/treatment cosmetic laser, plastic surgeon's Solvere, Proactiv, Elizabeth Arden, Clinique, Neutrogena, Clerasil, Clean &Clear

Cons:

Try not to get it around the eyes; the fumes will burn your eyes, and you'll start crying/tearing up. It takes a while for your eyes to not get irritated after the fumes irritate it. The formula is extremely runny, and the lid/cap is easily broken.

It will consistently work. Most products that I have tried only works in the beginning. Then after your skins gets accustomed to the product, it stops working/taking effect. It does not clear my entire face, but heavily reduces the amount and severity of my acne. Due to the high benzoyl peroxide, you might see several small bumps like chicken skin appearances due to extreme dryness. The formula did bleach my towel and a little of my front bangs. Try Mederma for acne scars and blemishes; it has helped quickly reduce old and new blemishes. I never had acne in my life until after moving to Cincinnati two years ago from Dallas, TX. Since my skin is extremely oily (almost to a new category of greasy even though I don't work at a restaurant), I use the max face wash and then apply the cleansing pad. I don't even bother to apply moisturizer anymore since I have an unlimited supply of face oil, but apply some sort of lotion or anti-wrinkle serum is necessary around the eye

Pros:

It dries oily skin and minimizes blemishes

Cons:

It can dry out skin just a bit. Probably best used on moderate acne. It is runny, so one must be prepared to avoid coating the bathroom. Easily manageable, though.

I used this product for about a year and my face was great. I switched accidentally and broke out within two days. I was quite surprised, considering the product I switched to was supposedly better. I'm certainly changing back, ASAP.

Pros:

It clears up your skin, makes it softer.
{If you have a disgustingly huge pimple, continue using this product and try Clean & Clear Pimple Cream stuff. I think it's 10% benzol peroxide too. Use it at NIGHT. Wash off in morning!}

Cons:

It will probably make your skin dry, so I recommend you use OLAY Moisturizer in the morning and Clean & Clear OIL FREE Sacylic Acid Moisturizer at night. :)

THIS PRODUCT TAKES TIME!! I used it over winter break and continue to use it. Yes, you WILL break out slightly more for about a week or so. After that, they'll disappear. GIVE IT ABOUT 3 OR 4 WEEKS!! I've used it since December 23rd 2008 :) It's only January 14th and my skin feels so much better and looks clearer.
