Pros:

keeps you thin
feel healthy

Cons:

has done nothing for my acne. (5 years on the diet.)

i have been on a strict diet for 5 years now. NO DAIRY NO GLUTEN NO EGGS NO LEGUMES NO SUGAR NO ALCOHOL Anyone would tell you that i am EXTREMELY disciplined. I am 5'4 108 pounds...i exercise , do ballet, and NEVER EVER cheat on my diet...i have not had any fruit in 6 months and very little brown rice....i mainly eat green vegetable , fish and chicken, some seeds and nuts...i have eaten purely organic and natural for 20 years...i take many whole food supplements along with fish oil, probiotics, etc...i still have acne...in fact its the worst it has ever been...i am 37. I truly do not know what on earth i could change...it is a total mystery why i have moderately severe acne.. so before you blame anyone for their acne...thinking its their fault...you are wrong.

I too, am on a very strict diet and I break out pretty consistently. It is quite frustrating. So I completely understand. Perhaps testing for any vitamin deficiencies. I'm currently ordering some vitamin supplements as I'm sure I suffer from a few deficiencies with my strict diet. I hope someone else can shed some light on this issue. Clearly diet doesn't cause acne for everyone. I have a strict diet, I was taking hormone balancing supplements for a long time with little success. I'm extremely cautious about what I put on my skin as well. I'm actually quite baffled as to what to do with my skin, what is causing my break outs..
