Pros:

-Clears acne on face & body
-Fast results

Cons:

-Bad for teeth

I love this. Okay so I'll just tell you my story. In the end of 7th grade I would get the ocasional pimple here or there. Then 8th grade began. it was fine in the beginning of the year but by the end I hated my face. I had like 5 pimples on my forehead but then 1 night I had cheer for 5 hours & 2 of those hours we worked out the whole time, so obviously I sweat a lot. The next morning, I couldn't even see one part of my skin in the middle of my forehead cause the acne was so bad. So I decided to try this out. I started it last wednesday. On Thuresday, I didn't really see any results, on Friday, it was starting to clear up a little(: Then I went camping until sunday. That means not washing my face or body for 2 whole days. I didn't even drink any lemon water those days but it still worked. I get home & my parents even saw a difference! The redness had gone down & I could see a lot more clear skin. So I've been using it since then & I've loved it. I drink it in the AM & PM when I don't have an empty stomach (cause I think it can do damage). I take a cup & put 2 spoons of water (the big spoons the ones you use for soup) & then I add 2 tea spoons of the lemon juice (not from concentrate) I put it in the microwave for 20 seconds (because your body absorbs the nutrients faster when it's warm) & then I take a straw & drink. You get used to the taste so it isn't as bad later. I brush my teeth 30-40 minutes later because I read somewhere you shouldn't brush them directly after & I wash out my mouth with water. I loved this & I think I will actually have perfect skin for Freshman year which I would never had gotten if it wans't for lemon juice. Well, I hope I helped!(:

Pros:

Effective, Cheap, Easy

I've been consuming approxiamtely 3tbsp of the bottled lemon juice in the morning just before breakfast and at night not long before i go to bed. Since doing this i have noticed a considerable improvement in my skin in which most of my pimples has cleared up. I do this and use a face wash that contains salicylic acid and have stopped using a benzoyl peroxide based three step regime. Results began to show after about a week and continued to improve.

Pros:

Brought shine on skin
Permanently removed my love handles :D
helped with acne
made my figure even awsome :)

Cons:

slight sensitivity in teeth

Well...i read it online to start drinking and from past 2 weeks I have been drinking juice of half a lemon (big lemon to get more juice) in a glass of warm water and little salt to make it drinkable ;). The results are just amazing...my acne breakouts have reduced by 90% and my skin has a very healthy glow to it even though winters are here and my skin should have been dry but it still shines like I have recently got a facial done. Plus a benefit it reduced my love handles, i was always worried because i am not fat but i was getting love handles and I do not have time to work out....the only thing i could do is to walk from my office to home and forth. But that;s all but ever since I have been drinking lemon water i feel more energetic and moreover any digestion problems i had are also gone. Though I feel a little sensitivity in my teeth so I am gonna start drinking it now with a straw but overall i guess i am ready to pay this much for my skin to look beautiful...i have waited to look like this for a long time and it just makes me feel good when the guys just dont stop staring at you :):) good luck to everyone who is trying it already and i would definitely recommend to do it atleast for a month and you will know what i mean by my last sentence in the above paragraph.

Pros:

Tastes nice, Vitamin C, fresh fruit, good for the body

Cons:

Erodes tooth enamel, so my dentist told me to stop drinking lemon water. Some say to drink it with a straw to avoid touching the teeth. Whatever you do, do not brush your teeth after drinking lemon water for at least 1 hour-it will wear enamel away

Lemon and lime juice are healthy, lovely, fresh, cleansing, full of vitamins -- all wonderful. The problem is that fruit acids and other food acids (like vinegar and wine) wear away the enamel of the teeth. My tooth enamel has worn away a lot due to all the acidic foods I used to love, and there is no way to fix this (the re-enamelizing toothpastes don't really put enamel back on your teeth). The dentists say not to brush your teeth after eating anything acidic for at least one hour, to give the teeth time to stabilize before applying the brush to them. My dentist says she can see the brush strokes on the surface of the teeth - due to the acid from the OJ that I drank every morning and then brushed my teeth straight afterwards (before going to work) - it had softened my teeth that much. Please do not trust the review below where the guy says to brush your teeth right after drinking lemon water - you can never get that enamel back. Besides the teeth issue, lemons are great!

Pros:

soft, smooth skin
reduces/prevents acne breakouts

Cons:

tastes awful
heard it can harm teeth

I started drinking about 3 or so tablespoons a day, once in the morning and once at night. At first, it seemed like nothing was happening, although admittedly my skin was smoother. I stopped using it after five days or so and BAM! I wake up and I have minor pimples everywhere and 1-2 larger ones that I could tell where going to get a LOT bigger. Went back to drinking about 3 tablespoons (but just once) and applied some lemon juice topically, and they disappeared after a day or so. I really do like what it does but I had to quit because of the taste, it was absolutely awful and not worth it. I wasn't drinking fresh lemon juice though, it was bottled. I say if you don't mind how it tastes, please GO FOR IT! It really does work amazingly at reducing (and especially preventing) acne.

Pros:

- detoxifies
-helps with acne
-clearer pores
-makes you feel better

Cons:

-bad for teeth
-tastes nasty to me
-bad for my singing voice!!

I drank a cup of lemon juice straight, everyday, for about 3 months. It noticably improved my acne. Prior to this, I was on Doryx, but I decided to stop because it was harming my liver. The lemon juice worked not only as good as doryx, but better. But alas, I am a singer, and I noticed I couldn't hit high notes after drinking this stuff. So I cut back to a cup twice per week, My skin still looks pretty good. I did quit for a while, and my skin went bad again, so I began using it again, and it went back to being clear.

Pros:

Makes skin soft
Reduces redness
Cleanses body
Tastes okay

Cons:

Bad for your teeth

I would just like to add that I've been using this since Friday, and now it's Saturday, and I can already see a difference. I'm only 15, but have had to dealt with acne since I was about 12. For the past few years, I just covered my skin with products and make-up, hoping my acne would go away. Just recently I have really started to try things to get rid of my acne. Everyone at school seems to have beautiful skin, and it really made me feel ugly and embarrassed. I came across lemon juice and figured I'd try it. I have just a plain bottle of pure lemon juice in my fridge, and I poured about 6 teaspoons in a glass of water. The taste made me gag, and throughout the day drank it through a straw.. But also, I drank water constantly, which does nothing but help you even more. Throughout the day, I also put on a honey mask for kicks, but it left my skin kinda blotchy red.. Last night I drank another 3 teaspoons. Viola! This morning I woke up with most of all my acne going down, and only a few were. Bit pink. I havent seen much improvement in my scars, but that doesn't really bother me. I saw a slight difference! I really haven't felt this good in awhile, thanks to the lemon juice! I am going to continue drinking for the next few days and let everyone know.. But as of right now, everything is going smoothly.(:

Pros:

cheap, easy, tastes great, getting bodies ph back in sync

Cons:

harsh on teeth

I am now more and more a believer that acne is derived from how much we have deviated from our ancestral path. In the western diet, many things cause individuals to go acidotic, believed to be a contributor to acne. By bringing your bodies ph back in line, your body can then begin to fix itself. Big advocate. Some great reviews detailing how acidic metabolizes to go alkalitic.

Used as a drink & applied directly on skin

Pros:

Fades acne scars
Stops the growth of existing acne

Cons:

Effects teeth when consuming warm lemon juice
Tinges when you apply the juice on your skin

I have a very sensitive skin. I drink lemon juice (half lemon) squeezed into lukewarm water with a teaspoon of honey on empty stomach early morning & at night before sleeping. Also, before sleeping, I dab fresh lemon juice directly on the acne & acne marks with an ear bud. I once applied lemon juice directly & let it on my skin overnight. I experienced new breakouts after 2 days. So, I apply lemon juice just on the effected area using an ear bud (so that it doesn't spread out on other areas) for around 30 minutes & wash it off with room temperature water. I could see my acne scars fading as well as the existing acne development stops. I have been doing this from past 2 weeks & I see good results. Note: It tinges a bit when you put on the lemon juice directly, due to citric acid. Try doing it for 3-4 days. If u see any improvement continue. But, stay away from leaving it on your skin overnight.
