Pros:

Low cost, tasty, easy to remember to drink it morning and night, easy to make!

Cons:

Can cause a stomach ache if you over do it!

I have been drinking green tea with fresh squeezed lemon juice three times throughout the day; once after breakfast, once in the afternoon and at night. I have seen a good improvement, and its only been a month. I think that lemon juice, if used properly, can work for everyone. I think its VERY important to use this in conjunction with a good diet..one involving LOTS of fresh produce! I can almost promise that if you eat well, exercise, get enough sleep every night, drink LOTS of water and use the lemon juice, your skin will be sooo much more clear!

Pros:

Lightens acne scars
treats acne
smooths skin

Cons:

Dries skin
makes throat sore
doesnt taste very good

Helps clear up skin. It works pretty well. Ive had problem zits since i was 13, and while other products have helped sometimes, this is the only thing that has almost always worked. If i never had discovered this, i dont know where i'd be now.

Pros:

Improvement noticeable in skin after continuous use. More energy and a cleaner liver. Feel good about yourself.

Cons:

Acidity of lemon juice is detrimental to your teeth. Drink through a straw.

This is by now means a cure however I do believe it did prove beneficial to the appearance of my skin and both my mental and physical well-being. Remember every alternate week to take a lesser dose to maintain maximum effect.

Pros:

cheap, easy, tastes good (i love sour stuff) and its better than drinking vinegar!, i guess it helps fight acne

Cons:

bad for teeth, need lots and lots of lemon!

Well, i figured i should give this a shot... I definitely notice a difference. My skin does look better, and my break outs aren't that bad. I'm not completely clear however, but i'm pretty clear... my body acne, which has been impossible to get rid of, has calmed down a little, but its still there. I take close to one big lemon worth of juice a day, maybe a little more here and there... half in the AM, half in the PM... Overall for me, the results are pretty subtle, but I'm going to stick through with it and see if there are more improvements.

Pros:

One of the easiest things you can do! We all know it's important to stay hydrated anyways so this isn't a big step to take. I use the bottled juice (2 for $1) and it works well. I have seen a visible improvement over two or three weeks time.

Cons:

Am a little worried about the possible enamel damage I have read about on this site ... must look into it more.

Certainly won't hurt and might help as well! Seems to even out skin tone, and in fact tastes pretty yummy too. Especially seeing that it's summer here it is important to stay hydrated, and the lemon just gives a little kick to my water and makes it very refreshing. (Can also make lemonade, either hot or cold - yum!) My skin had already been improving significantly over the past few months due to the regimen and other things, but adding this recently has kicked it up a notch. Not sure if it is helping with pimples per se, but definitely the overall clarity of my skin is better. I definitely recommend trying this, as the risks and costs involved are so low compared to a lot of other products and treatments you might try. Not a miracle cure, but something healthy (many benefits besides improved skin) that you can add in to your routine very easily every day.

Pros:

Refreshing
Helps fight breakouts
Hydrating for skin and body

I apply lemon juice topically to the acne scars that I have on my face as well. For the past three months I have transitioned to drinking only water ( I do sneak a soda-every once in a while) However for the past couple of weeks I have added lemon to it. It is great! With every sip I smile because I know its working on my skin from the inside out and I like to feel that when the lemon juice isn't applied topically I'm still getting the benefits of it all day. I also take vitamins daily to help with my acne. I truly believe that by drinking the lemon water it is speeding up the process! I love the results that I am getting! Makes me wish I would have started this a long time ago!

Pros:

- Cheap
- Effective

Cons:

- Bad for teeth
- May make you feel a little queasy if taken on an empty stomach

I've only been drinking this for about 4 weeks once every day usually after supper and my skin hasn't had a flare-up in the past 10 days. I have been taking it with cold water rather than warm. However, It doesn't seem to do anything for the little zits that are on my forehead - but it keeps the inflamed zits away.

Pros:

Reduces acne.
Reduces scarring.

Cons:

Erodes tooth enamel.
Sour.

I freshly squeezed one lemon a day (in the afternoon) and added enough warm water to fill the cup and forced myself to drink it with a straw (just to be safe from tooth damage) and what can i say! I saw an improvement within a week! Although I would like to stress that this isn't the only thing I did. I also cleaned up my diet a little by reducing carbohydrates as much as possible and eating more fruits. But i definitely recommend this as the fast way to reduce your acne. Good luck :)

Pros:

gives you energy, clears up skin, revs up your metabolism (hot cup of lemon water in the morning)

Cons:

wears off enamel on teeth :[

I think everybody in the world should drink one cup of hot natural lemon water a day in the morning. It jumpstarts your metabolism, giving you more energy, and the acidity in it helps clean out your liver which can lead to clear skin. So everybody, DO IT

Scarring and redness fading
Since drinking lemon juice yhe redness in my scars has faded so much - I assume this is because of the high vitamin C content. I peel a whole lemon and put it in the blender with some water and drink it with breakfast. I recommend using a blender to retain the white bits (that you can't extract with a juicer) that are high in vitamin content.
