Pros:

Clears redness
Drys up acne making less noticeable
Tightens skin

Cons:

Stings

I have been using it for 3-4 days now twice a day and after the first day I was already seeing results. I use it in the morning and at night. I not only use lemons but before o use the lemon juice I gently wash my face with st Ives apricot scrub this helps so much I find if you wear makeup alot as to which I do it helps to get down deep under your pores and bring it up allowing it all to be clears from your skin and the lemon juice helps to close you pores making sure nothing gets in ..I highly recommend both :)

Pros:

Lightens Acne Scars
Prevents Future Breakouts

Cons:

Stings

Who wouldve thought! I tried everything to get rid of my acne scars including mederma, but that make be break out. Now, lemons don't completely remove the scar, but it deff lightens it! It didnt help get rid of any active pimples but i noticed it helped prevent (a little) I wouldn't consider it an acne treatment though, it just helps get rid of acne scars, or any scars for that matter! :) definitely worth a shot!

Pros:

-control oil very will, after a couple of days you don't need to wash your face more than 2 times.
-clean and fresh skin
-lights up the skin tone

Cons:

until now none.

I tried many medicine, but nothing work effectively.I even use the mesotherapy.. after I read reviews here decide to give it a try. when I wake up I clean my face with soap then I use half of lemon on my face directly just squeeze lemon on my skin and leave it for 10 mins, then wash my face with water and I use little piece of ice, rub it over my face to stop the stinging and to close the pores, and repeat that at night. I don't use medicine anymore. I highly recommended that if you've oily skin it takes you couple of days then you feel the change, I don't think it suitable for sensitive skin.

Pros:

Helped reduce acne scars
Cleared up pimples
Tightens pores

Cons:

Stings

It's obviously been said a lot on here, but this worked pretty well for me. I had never heard of this, and it is such a simple and easy solution. I apply fresh lemon juice to my face using a cotton ball and leave it on for 10-20 minutes before washing it off and moisturizing. My skin looks way better, and I'm so glad I looked on here before buying an expensive treatment. I haven't noticed it lightening my skin tone, but I'm already pale, so I can't go that much lighter. Give it a shot, you've got nothing to lose!

Pros:

skin clears up fast
evens your skin tone
fades scars very quickly
shrinks pores
cheap
natural

Cons:

stings (naturally)
bit messy (if you need to put it on your back)

I tried Differin, BP, loads of different facial washes, couple of pharmacy sold topical creams, pills (not roccutane). All that could keep my skin semi clear was benzoyl peroxide but it gave me strange red patches around my mouth even though i didn't apply it there. So I was reading reviews here and came across lemon juice reviews and decided to give it a try. It was great from the start. I ditched my nightly BP applications and started using lemon juice. One day I couldn't find anything in my fridge and didn't bother to go buy some lemons at the store. Previous night my regular face wash finished. It was simple non fancy nivea wash for combination skin. I bought neutrogena acne wash with salicylic acid. In combination with lemon the next night it gave me redness so I ditched the lemon. But later I learned a valuable lesson - salicylic acid only makes my acne worse. And my old wash used with lemon juice gives me great results. I love BP but I hate those red patches around my mouth. So now I'm back to my old trusted nivea wash and lemon juice. It slowly improves because few days ago I had an awful whole face break out I didn't get since age of 14. So bottom line, start mild, lemon juice on your skin for 10-15 mins then you can leave it on for the whole night and even use it in the morning.

Pros:

Great Scent
Inexpensive
Readily Available
Tasty! Mmm...

Cons:

Stings
Beware the pulp!

I don't recommend leaving the pulp on your face. Strain it out before you apply. I think it clogged my pores and I ended up with little bumps all over my face! It stopped about three days after I quit using lemon. But heck yes it is effective against acne. Now I drink it instead and my skin is almost clear.

Pros:

Super cheap
Natural (always a plus)
Great smell

Cons:

Stings a bit, but its not terrible.

I've just started this treatment yesterday amd I already love it. My skin type is combination and its the worst to try and find something that works. I've been using the egg white facial mask once a month for a few months now and its greatbut I found it makes my skin too dry, even with moisturizers. My skin is naturally tan, and pimples arent too alarming to me. The dreaded scars I get after are what kills me. I've tried just about everything to fade them but they barely work. I've read all of y'alls reviews and decided this might work. After the first time I used it, I could already see a difference. I was so excited, like you couldnt believe. My scars are mainly around my jaw line and chin. I took some natural lemon juice and put it on a cotton pad. It stung, but only for a few seconds (I guess I have a high tolerance of pain) and I left it on for 10 minutes. When I rinsed it off, I could see that my skin was exceptionally brighter. Even my sister noticed. I cannot wait til it works even more. I'll be patient. Bottom line, USE IT. The stinging may vary for different people, but I promise Its nothin to cry over.

Pros:

makes skin soft and tight
lights up the skin tone
fades scars through time
very good for whiteheads and blackheads

Cons:

-does not work on severe acne or highly inflamed acne or cystic acne.
-Its a bit itchy and painful at first
-sometimes can irritate acne more

i think its only for light or moderate acne. I've used it when i had a severe breakout and it did nothing. if anything, it made my spots worse. redder and more irritated. you should not use concentrated lemon juice if skin is sensitive. *i use lemon juice as sort of face wash. i rub it like soap on skin and wash it off with cold water. and then dab a few drops on spots and scars. its great if mixed with olive oil for as moisturizer for dark underarms and elbows. diluted with a bit of water or green tea should be a good toner. ( i havent tried the green tea though. should be worth it). bottomline is, it mostly works for most people but if it fails for you, at least it does not damage your skin thoroughly like the usual harsh face wash products out there.

Pros:

works fast
cheap
reduces pore size
evens texture and redness

Cons:

does not reduce size of blemishes
stings... alot

I have only been using this product for about a week now (daily) and i have noticed a huge improvement in my skins texture as well as usual redness. I apply it before bed with a cotton pad; only using a fresh lemon... not lemon juice from concentrate. It stings, like a lot but i find it to be worth it. I wake up and my pores look 10x smaller and my skin feels like it's glowing!! However it did not reduce size of current blemishes. NOTHING EVER WORKS FOR ME. I would reccomend it for moderate acne as i have, you must have high pain tollerance haha. Hope this helps :) hang in there!
