Pros:

Lightens blemishes fast
Get's rid of blackheads
Smells nice

Cons:

Can burn and if you're not careful it can dry out skin way too fast!

I started lemon treatment about two weeks ago and noticed a difference on my blemishes by the second day. I let lemon juice sit on my skin for 20min. two times a day (morning & night), then rinsed. The only scary thing, I was peeling quite a bit, but it didn't hurt at all, it just looked weird. I only do it for about 3 days in a row then take a 5-7 day break. The lemon can be harsh on the skin! And I noticed that peeling is easier to come off when skin is wet. DO NOT pick at dry skin, if it flakes off that's good, but don't pull on it.

Pros:

Absorbs acne from pimples, gives a nice new colour to the skin.

Cons:

Stings a little... but its actually really worth it.

Need I say more? Well, I'll say a little more, I have had acne for about six months, not severe just moderate... and this lemon remedy really works. I have tried Accutane, and trust me the side affects of that medicine are not worth it. Your lips get REALLY dry and your skin peels off easy. Anyway YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY Lemon Juice ;)

Pros:

affordable, natural and reduces blemishes

Cons:

acidic thus stings face when applied

i've used too much of the over-the-counter products to clear my blemishes, so decided an all natural method. Directions: Mix 50% distilled water and 50% lemon juice. Apply onto affected areas (slightly stingy) Results: Swelling of red inflammed spots come down. Blemishes dry up, abit of peeling (reckoned it as shedding skin process). Judgement: Overall effective, used it once only, planned to do it once a week.

Pros:

cheap, natural, clears acne!

Cons:

the pulp can be messy.

i dont know if it's all in my head, but i feel the effects after only a few hours. i think the lemon juice acts as an astringent/antiseptic for the skin. aside from antibiotics [minocyclin], lemon juice has been the best remedy for my moderate-severe acne. i recommend it to anyone who suffers from this life altering condition.

Pros:

it definitely got rid of my pimples quickly, and at first evened out my skin tone (faded scars)

Cons:

I have EXTREMELY sensitive skin and within a week of applying the lemon juice topically, my skin developed these horrible little bumps all over and felt so dry. It was awful.

I think this remedy is good for people with very resilient skin, tough skin. My skin is easily irritated so using it regularly would not work for me. Maybe if you have dry, sensitive skin you should use it no more than once a week. The aspirin/honey mask has worked wonders for me though.

Pros:

after my first day (for 6 hours, I applied diluted every 10 min.)--fades scars, reduces new acne, smooths skin, cheap/readily available, natural, (and I got results from applying so frequently)! You don't need fresh, just 100%.

Cons:

stings for a minute, and the fast results take a good chunk of a day for me to get

I have oily skin, moderate acne on face (and back), and use over the counter products like St. Ive's, Neutrogena, Clearasil, even Eskinol. Used right, they give me results as fast as 2 weeks. By "results," I mean almost no new pimples and mostly smooth skin. I'm bad about picking, so the dark spots take longer to fade. Also, after about a month, my routines seem to stop working and new acne stays. Yesterday, for about 6 hours, I applied *diluted Realemon lemon juice* to my face every 10 min. or so. During, I noticed it was smoothing my skin. After, my newer red scars were faded to pink and dark spots were not as dark. Today, I've been applying *not diluted* not as frequently but am getting the same results. Plus, my larger, day-old pimples are much smaller. With such fast, easy results, lemon juice is SO worth the try. I wouldn't have applied so frequently if it weren't just a fruit.

Pros:

Seems to eat away at existing acne, clenses pores and fights surface skin oil - the best thing its cheap and natural!!!

Cons:

Has to be natural fresh lemons and organic seems to work better

Trust me, Ive had a rollercoaster ride with my acne - gone through tonnes of emotions some great like when my doctor discovered erthromycin and it worked so we'll I foolishly thought I would never have to worry bout acne again...life was easy back then, but then six months later I was in for a rude wake up call. My acne returned with a vengence and I mean it took over my face drained the colour from my skin and ruined my life. That was back in november and since then I've been on tetralycin which did little but make my skin look awful, benzoil peroxide which works for two weeks then ance returns as cystic as if life isnt harsh enough. On differin right now seems to be working slowely and im not knocking it but after discovering lemon juice the healing process seems to of been boosted. The colours back the skin is perfecting and mayb (FINGERS SO BLOODY WELL CROSSED) I might of gotten acne in my grasp. Whatever happens I will not stop UNTIL I SEE ACNE VULGARIS DIE!!! Good luck Amigos!

Pros:

It's the greatest I want to tell every person that walks by me with acne.

Cons:

Burns if you do a facial scrib before applying.

I have gotten rid of all my other skin car products that I have used and now I only use LEMON JUICE FROM FRESH LEMONS. I fell like I have been jipped with all the money I have spent and the answer to my bad skin is LEMON JUICE.

Pros:

I love using lemon juice. I've tried everything for my acne. And my acne is moderate, sometimes severe. I dip my face in hot water for 100 seconds. AND AFTER I WASH GENTLY WITH WATER ONLY AND A WASHCLOTH. It fades scars 2. Theres no more acne.

Cons:

there really is no cons compared to all the other stuff I've tried to get rid of my acne.

Just do the hot water dip, after wash with a washcloth, and then dip again in cold water to close the pores. after that get a cotton pad and dip it into fresh squeezed lemon juice and apply it to your face. And I almost guarantee it will clear up your face. I don't even break out anymore. Maybe 1 pimple a month and it goes away fast with the juice.
