Pros:

affordable

Cons:

none so far

I just started applying lemon juice to my face. I mix it with evaporated cane juice as an exfoliant. I hope this works. I am also drinking one lemon a day mixed with hot water. I guess it's worth a shot since there are so many good reviews I am reading.

"It feels like the world is ending on your face"

Pros:

Probably does eventually work if you use it every day
Smells nice

Cons:

Citric acid is the AHA involved - lactic acid and glycolic are much more effective and less irritating
Irritation = Acne

Ever wondered what it would feel like to pour petrol on your face and throw a match on it? Try Lemon Juice!

Pros:

gets rid of hyperpigmentation
drys up spots
refreshes skin tone
(if used regularly)

Cons:

doesn't prevent future acne

i had a major breakout just before i went on holiday for six weeks. whilst i was away i used lemon all over my face day and night for like 4-6 weeks. most definately it helped to speed up the process of getting rid of those spots, the redness and the god awful hyperpigmentation that followed. but in no way did it stop new spots from forming, nor did it get rid of those pesky under the skin flesh coloured bumps i have which seem to be the bain of my existence....

Pros:

Its Cheap And Made My Skin Feel Softer

Cons:

Stung Like Hell And Didn't Really Help My Acne Alot =[

I've Been Using Lemon Juice For Just Under A Week And So Far I Haven't Really Seen Any Significant Change In My Acne, After The First Use It Seemed To Get Worse But Then Died Down To Normal The Next Night And So Far The Lemon Juice Hasn't Had Much Effect. Im Gonna Keep Using For Another Week And Hopefuly It Will Help. I Would Recomend This Product (its cheap, give it a try)... but don't expect miricals.

-SRSLY, it BURNS.
-Itches.
-Didn't notice any change in my skin.

I used lemon juice (from the bottle) for my acne, but I was really hoping it would help with my red scars. I used it for 2-3 weeks & didn't notice a difference & I got tired of the horrible burning & itching so I discontinued usage. Maybe it would have made a difference to use a fresh lemon rather than lemon juice from the bottle, I'm not sure. I've started using Mederma cream in hopes that will work since I've used it before & it helped.
