Pros:

Fades scars, you can feel it working kind of like a chemical peel,
skin feels and looks better.

Cons:

Stings the first couple times you use it. Will stop after so many uses though. Not bad

Do it. What do you have to loose. Cheap. It will lighten scars it has been proven. Makes your pores tighter. All natural.

Pros:

cheap, organic

Cons:

gave me rash or nasty-looking red bumps on my face, after leaving the juice on for the whole night.

Not sure about its effectiveness yet. This time I left it on for the whole night and my face feels irritated the next morning; looks like I have allergy or something. I believe it's better to leave it on for about 10 min but no longer than 15, just make sure to test on one small area several times (morning & night) to see if it works. I'll give it another shot after my face recovers.

Pros:

Smells great
Reduces redness.
Easy to use

Cons:

Stings a bit

Used it for about a week & a half straight, & it WAS working great, but I can't exactly tell if it works 100%, since I got my period & broke out alot >.> I like it so far though, & all my Murad products are still in their box since I've read this forum.

Pros:

made my cysts disappear, shrunk pores, made my skin smoooth

Cons:

causes light sensitivity (no joke-find an oil-free sunscreen!) May not solve all your acne issues...

I really really like this when I started using it. I applied a diluted solution twice a day (did not rinse off) and within four days my cysts disappeared. My scars also faded. Since then I've still been happier with my skin than I've been in a long time but my acne is not completely gone (better is nice... SOLVED is even better!) Instead, my acne has changed forms. I'm now getting small red bumps, I wouldn't even call them pimples. This seems to be caused by the lemon juice expelling the oil/infection from the pores. Unfortunately, they're hard to get rid of. I'm going to see if combining lemon juice and jojoba oil will make a difference. I still think lemon juice is awesome. Diluting it helps with the stickiness, I'm still going to use it as a toner.

Pros:

Evening/Lightening effect on skin, amazingly cheap

Cons:

Burning/Tingling sensation for first couple of seconds

I pour lemon juice on cotton swabs to use on my face every night. My skin has gotten much more even, clear, and soft.

Pros:

it definitely got rid of my pimples quickly, and at first evened out my skin tone (faded scars)

Cons:

I have EXTREMELY sensitive skin and within a week of applying the lemon juice topically, my skin developed these horrible little bumps all over and felt so dry. It was awful.

I think this remedy is good for people with very resilient skin, tough skin. My skin is easily irritated so using it regularly would not work for me. Maybe if you have dry, sensitive skin you should use it no more than once a week. The aspirin/honey mask has worked wonders for me though.

Pros:

feels fresh on the skin
didn't really sting for me

Cons:

dried my skin up so that it felt tight, even with moisturiser
cysts forming underneath layers of dead skin

had been using acv beforehand with pretty good results. heard that lemons might be even more effective. turns out that these might be a step too for my skin at the moment. I only used it a couple of times but after the second time my skin felt severely dry and irritated for about 3 days, now paying for it with cysts coming up. i would recommend this if your skin can handle it. maybe only use it once or twice a week, because it is effectively an acid peel

Pros:

this is great stuff! i used it and overnight my acne cleared up completly! it also leaves u with a fresh feeling

Cons:

dont use if you have really sensitive skin (add alot of water if it is moderatly sensitive)- it can dry ALOt. also stings.

add lemon juice and water (amount of water depends on skin type and sensitivity) in a spray bottle and spray on face anywhere anytime! its great and it leaves you feeling so fresh and clean! P:S now my acne is light but it used to be moderate after usage of lemon juice spray! l l v

Pros:

Faded old acne scarring, cheap, smells good.

Cons:

slight stinging if you have acne in that area.

I read that lemon juice could fade acne scars and I was desperate to try anything since I had these little annoying brown and red spots on my cheeks. I was using differin and it got rid of my acne but left small scars. I went to the grocery store, bought some lemons and gave it a try. I washed my face and applied the lemon juice (fresh) that was squeezed into a small bowl, and applied it with a Q-tip. This was the first time I tried this method and after 10 minutes I washed it off. After my face got less red (from washing it) I looked in the mirror and I was so happy. I could see that it was working already. My scars weren't completely gone though. Just not as noticeable. I can't wait to use it again tomorrow!
