Pros:

cheap, natural

Cons:

stingy, itchy feeling but if you use alittle aloe vera gel with it then it stops this feeling

Lemon is great but the most fabulous thing is carrot juice. It is the primary veg for the skin, you won't go orange don't worry and if you do then you are drinking far too much of it. 6oz a day is enough. It is full of vit A which people with skin disorders are usually deficient in. I can not stress to you how great it is. If you have acne or any skin problem give carrots a chance, you will remember reading this forever! i promise you!

Pros:

really reduces pustuals as well as comedomes. makes hyperpigmentation significantly less red.

Cons:

stings like a little boy whipping you with a towel!

I developed acne at age 18 mainly due to a hormonal inbalance. im on the pill and it hasnt shown amazing results. i went vegan about 11 months ago and can say that that made a huge impact on helping me skin. i also switched to natural face washes. This helped clear my skin at least 60%. the problem is i am a HUGE picker so i always have terrible scars and red marks even after the pimple is gone. this makes me look like i have way more zits than i do. I read about lemon juice on a holistic website and tried it. it really helps hyperpigmentation go away and any zits i had are gone. I am coupling topical use with drinking warm lemon water everyday. I KNOW that it is a combination that it working because the results werent as amazing until i started drinking the stuff. You must clean ure self on the inside as well as the outside. stings like heck, but totally worth it. USE ORGANIC LEMONS!!!!!!!(so what if they are more expensive, u dont want cancer on top of acne)

Pros:

Smells nice
Easy to apply

Cons:

Hurts sooooo much
Makes my skin really dry afterwards

I notice that it SLIGHTLY decreases the color of my scars, but after I wake up the next morning, my face always looks redder than usual. The redness persists for about half a day.

Pros:

I have a tree in the backyard and seems to be just as effective if not better than when I was applying 2.5% BP. My question is, does it matter what kind of lemons they are? I'm using Meyer.

Cons:

None

It's only been about 5 days though. It feels like it's working, the stinging sensation is a feedback mechanism though not really irritating. Overall, skin feels better and I don't have to worry now about bleaching my shirt collars and everything else when I was using BP. If you're in the Bay Area (Oakland, CA) hit me up if you want some lemons. I'm a member, you can reach me under Chunkmunk.

Pros:

Smells Nice; Inexpensive

Cons:

Stings!!

After cleansing my skin, I cut a lemon (non-organic) in half and squeezed the juice into a cotton ball and rubbed it all over my face and left it on overnight. I did feel that my face seemed to be brighter, but it didn't improve my acne. I even started to get little white bumps along my jawline. After about a month I stopped using it, then started again about 2 months afterwards. And what do you know, I got those same little white bumps along my jawline. But I still didn't learn my lesson. I had a pimple that I wanted to get rid of quick because of an appointment that I had, and I remember I had some lemons left over. I squeezed the juice on a cotton ball and held it on the pimple for several minutes. The next morning I had a scab! I also had the same experience with ACV. So for me, these two items are not held on the skin for long periods of time. So many others seem to have good results using the inexpensive method, but I am not one of them.

Pros:

I guess it kind of made my face less red.

Cons:

Didn't clear up my acne one bit.

I read all about this so I decided to give it a try. Used it for 2 weeks straight and saw no change in my acne. Waste of time & money.

Pros:

It is cheap, and effective. Smells good, has many benifits if taken orally aswell, apart from helping cure acne.

Cons:

A slight sting might ensue for afew minutes after application. No big deal!

It has cleared up my blemishes very well, evened out my overall skin tone and i have less zits appearing. Actually, none at all to be precise! It also shrinks my pores and gives my skin a healthy shine! Drink abit of lemon juice diluted with water every morning, half an hour before breakfast, and at night before bed for the best results! Id reccommend this to anybody. Applied topically : just dab a cotton bud in freshly squeezed lemon juice and spread it all over your face. And feel the burn baby! Now, repeat everyday and watch the amazing results you get. Also, notice the pores of the lemon skin, and how similar they are to human pores. Strange coincidence, ey?
