Pros:

Works well with my sensitive skin

Cons:

It burn at first, but after a while it will fade

It works great! I had this huge pimple on my forehead a couple days ago and it was red after I popped it. I looked on this site and found a couple of home remedies and decided the lemon was the best. The results were fantastic! The huge red pimple that was on my forehead dried up and all my blemishes are subtly fading. I very happy with the results!

Pros:

very cheap, organic, easy to use!

Cons:

stings a bit but surely that means its working!

i have tried all the lotions, potions and pills and finally after 10 years of having acne i have decided to go the organic route! im using oatmeal as a cleanser, oatmeal and honey mask and lemon juice in the mornings! its so easy and cheap!! just a cost of a lemon a week! i just squeeze lemon juice on a cotton wool pad and wipe it over my face and hold it on my spots. i leave it for 10 mins then i wash my face. i onky been using it for 2 days but im sure today they seem a bit clearer! i will write again in a months time but its worth a try!!

Pros:

-it actually works!!
-swelling of pimple reduced by at least half after about 8 hours or so of leaving it on.
-skin feels very, very smooth after applying

Cons:

-stings a little, but bearable. It's more of an itchy sting
-doesn't do much for developing pimples, but works overnight on fully developed ones

I wash my face every night, and apply freshly squeezed lemon juice on my face. I put some facial lotion on afterward. I use it as a basic toner. You will notice your skin clearing up over a very long period of time, if consistently used, but it DOES work.

Pros:

- Nice Smell.
- Works. =D
- Cheap.

Cons:

- Stings at first, but you'll get over it.

Works well and it's cheap. I didn't use a fresh lemon. I used the ones packaged in a container you know? It seemed to work just as well. I'll probably go try a regular lemon as well. It's worth a shot.

Pros:

Cheap! It works! Smells nice.

Cons:

Burning feeling - takes some getting used to.

I added lemon juice to my routine - it is the only thing I changed so I know it is what is giving me results. I have never had acne all over - just one or two really large painful bumps under the skin, new ones once or twice a week which take forever to heal. Since I have started using this - NO NEW BUMPS! And my face feels really soft and clean. I use it only at night diluted with water and let it dry - then apply 2.5% BP. I use St. Ives scrub AM/PM, and during the day AHA (Walgreens) with Neutrogena tinted moisturizer/sunscreen over it. I tried ACV also which seemed to be working - but lemon juice smells SO much better.

Pros:

easy
affordable
refreshing

Cons:

stings for about 5 minutes

I dont leave it on over night like may people, because that seems to harsh. Lemon juice is pretty acidic. I squeeze some juice into a little dish and soak a cotton swab with it and wipe it all over my face. there's no need to soak your face, becasue the leftover will just drip off and get on ur clothes. and if you want you can reapply it ontop. i leave the lemon juice on for about 2-3 hr then wash it off with warm water

Pros:

Exfoliates. Reduces scars. Softens skin. Costs 25 cents!

Cons:

Irritation if used alone, but I mix with honey.

I mix a teaspoon of the fresh juice with a little raw honey so there is NO stinging whatsoever, plus the honey helps to soften my skin. I massage this on after I wash my face at night and then rinse off followed by aloe. It's worth the try but give it some time to see the difference.
