Pros:

Reduced redness
Clear skin
Tightened pores

Cons:

The sting, but at least you know it is working!

I clean my face in the morning when I take a shower and again at night. Each time after, I use a q-tip and apply lemon juice to my face. I even leave it on. So far it really works great.

Pros:

2nd day at it, pimples dried up, skin glows and more 'transparent'.

Cons:

Stings bad and cause redness which will subside. Only use at night before bed. The resulting dryness made my skin produce more oil than usual as i usually do not use moisturiser due to oily skin.

Would continue the regime to see if it can control my outbreak and lighten my scars. Would also drink the fruit.. may get even better results :)

Pros:

Evens out skin tone, clears the face and keeps it looking fresh

Cons:

Stings for a minute or so but subsides fast.

I have very ugly scars on my chin from plucking hair....it just left me depressed and frustrated. Looked like I had a perpetual shadow when it was actually scars more than hair on my chin. I tried VitaK, Bio Oil, Mederma, dozens of moisturisers...all to no avail. Finally, I started applying lemon juice 2- 3 weeks ago coz my mom said that the dark tan on her elbows almost disappeared after she started applying lemon on them daily. I phoo phooed it initially coz, heck, lemons ! How good can a fruit be ? But anyways, I decided to give it a try, and lo behold ! Been great for me, the skin around my chin has evened out quite a bit...I use it around the mouth and chin area as well as on my nose and under my eyes. And after my first application, I scrub the area gently with sugar. So its a good exfoliator too...and all natural. This fruit does wonders. Try it...worked for me.

Pros:

Its natural, its cheap,it smells good, sucks up the excess oil but doesnt dry the skin out too much, adds glow to the skin too.

Cons:

stings and itches a bit the first few seconds of applying.

I have used it diluted after my weekly facial regiments and undiluted feshly squeezed on other days.I apply my usual moisturiser over it and it stops itching. My scars have faded so much, its really amazing. When u have a fresh pimple, just apply lemon juice on it after squeezing out the pus and blood and it doesnt leave a scar.I tried this and it works. Now i get maybe one pimple a month and its one of those small whiteheads unlike before when i used to have at least 3 pus pimples every week. My complexion has even out.I apply lemon juice mixed with olive oil on my body as well every night b4 i go to bed and my skin has improved too..no more pimples on my back and old scars fading.I dont need to shave as often because my skin is moisturised and very soft. Its the best thing that has happened to me since ive been plagued by acne the past 4 years.

Pros:

Lightens blemishes fast
Get's rid of blackheads
Smells nice

Cons:

Can burn and if you're not careful it can dry out skin way too fast!

I started lemon treatment about two weeks ago and noticed a difference on my blemishes by the second day. I let lemon juice sit on my skin for 20min. two times a day (morning & night), then rinsed. The only scary thing, I was peeling quite a bit, but it didn't hurt at all, it just looked weird. I only do it for about 3 days in a row then take a 5-7 day break. The lemon can be harsh on the skin! And I noticed that peeling is easier to come off when skin is wet. DO NOT pick at dry skin, if it flakes off that's good, but don't pull on it.

Pros:

affordable, natural and reduces blemishes

Cons:

acidic thus stings face when applied

i've used too much of the over-the-counter products to clear my blemishes, so decided an all natural method. Directions: Mix 50% distilled water and 50% lemon juice. Apply onto affected areas (slightly stingy) Results: Swelling of red inflammed spots come down. Blemishes dry up, abit of peeling (reckoned it as shedding skin process). Judgement: Overall effective, used it once only, planned to do it once a week.
