Pros:

really works: helps to reduce breakouts, whiteheads and diminishes acne scars, I've already noticed positive effects after the first application

Cons:

may irriate at the beginning, but your skin gets used to it.

I used fresh lemon juice, applied it several times a day, scars are fading, the appearence of my skin improved significantly.

Pros:

cleared a few pimples and gave me a natural glow.

Cons:

stings a little at first and I haven't seen a catastrophic difference in my number of breakouts.

Try it, it does work but to what agree depends on your skin I suppose. my skin is SENSITIVE AND OILY so I'm glad I finally found something....I'll stick with it for now :P

Pros:

easy, natural, and above all, CHEAP!!

Cons:

shouldn't apply to whole face if you have dry, sensitive skin.

At first, I used a cotton ball to apply the lemon juice to the brown spots on my face, but noticed that the skin around the brown spots was also lightening slightly. So I switched to applying the juice with q-tips, careful just to apply directly to brown spots, and none of the surrounding clear skin. If your skin seems oily, it may be because it is actually dry, and producing more oil to hydrate itself. My skin used to be normal but I had a few spots occasionally so I tried Proactiv. That TOTALLY dried out my skin and made it really shiny, tight, and red. So I apply olive oil to my entire face before I go to bed, and it has made my face glow and not shiny anymore.. and rarely do people break out when they use olive oil on their skin.. it produces fast and lovely results!!

Pros:

cheap, natural, clears acne!

Cons:

the pulp can be messy.

i dont know if it's all in my head, but i feel the effects after only a few hours. i think the lemon juice acts as an astringent/antiseptic for the skin. aside from antibiotics [minocyclin], lemon juice has been the best remedy for my moderate-severe acne. i recommend it to anyone who suffers from this life altering condition.

Pros:

Inexpensive; works great; makes your skin glow; helps scars fade; make my skin color appear more olive and even toned!

Cons:

None, really. It's natural and more effective than any other product I've used. May dry out your skin a bit. I put honey on afterwords. My regimin in the morning is using a natural based cleanser followed by natural based moisturizers with SPF...

My regimin in the morning is using a natural based cleanser followed by natural based moisturizers with SPF...At night, I apply lemon for 15 minutes, followed by honey mask. Honey helps me retain moisture, as my skin does dry a bit. I break out moderately, more so during my period. Lemon helps any existing acne dry out quicker.

if you have sensitive skin, you can add rosewater to dilute it but i prefer to only use lemon juice by itself! :) and yes, keep it on overnight! i recommend doing this at night because you dont want to go out in the sun with lemon juice on your face as your face will become sun sensitive! hope this helps! :)

Use straight lemon juice from the store and put a lot on your face keep on using it for another week and use daily and if you don't see the a change then you should try something else if you have severe acne then I recommend seeing a dermatologist but make sure before application you wash your face if it burns it's a good thing hope this helps.😊

Honey is a moisturizer so maybe your skin doesn't like that. Try just water and very little lemon and leave it on for a couple of minutes. And no a burning sensation on your face doesn't always necessarily mean it is a good thing. I was just using water to wash my face for a while because if you look up a list of bad ingredients that could be in your face washes and make up even I it says noncomedogenic. There are thousands.
