Pros:

Smoother, less oily skin
Helps with & prevents acne
Fades scars
The subtle smell of lemon

Cons:

Some initial irritation

Lemons couldn't be any more cost-efficiently. I never got to the point to actually give any of the expensive remedies a try simply because of the trouble involved - but I've been no less motivated to cure or at least better my acne. At this point of time I've applied lemon juice to my face and slept with it on for about a week, and though its effects are not instantaneous it's worked wonders so far (relative to the money and effort put into it). It's not necessarily the cure for acne, but if you stick with it you'll notice improvement. As for me, I've got a long way to go still, but I've got the fridge racked up with this yellow fruit.

Pros:

1. I've used it for about two weeks straight and found that my scars are about 50% paler than they were, which was a godsend!
2. Makes my skin incredibly soft, my boyfriend even commented saying it was so very kissable ;)

Cons:

1. Im not sure it prevented acne a lot, but if there was a new pimple coming up that i could just about see it would dry it up in under two days

I admit that my acne is very light now (((never used to be, cysts and everything))) but my problem now is the scars left by those bloody darn cysts! So the bottom line is, LEMON JUICE IS WONDERFUL FOR SCARS! after two months of constant use i recon they'll be 100% gone

Pros:

It works almost immediately for me, it helps reduce black heads and whatnot, while also lightening blemishes and scars.

Cons:

It stings slightly for a few seconds, and it strips your face of natural oils for a while, making your skin more prone to acne.

I am really glad I tried using lemon juice.

Pros:

Clears up acne right away!

Cons:

None

I have tried everything! From Proactive, to other household stuff like honey, eggs, and etc. Every Night before i go to bed I use a Q Tip and put it only where i have acne, then leave it on overnight. I can in all honesty say this works better then anything else I've tried, and i barely have an acne now.

Pros:

Gives a refreshed look, reduces red marks, lightens freckles, help treat and prevent acne and blackheads, tightens pores, smells nice, and just gives a natural glow

Cons:

Itches, stings, burns, leaves face red for a little bit.

It's great stuff, it helped me reduce the look of acne scarring, blackheads, and just dries pimples out, and reduces them for future refrence.

Pros:

everything =)

Cons:

stings a lot.....

to cakeandbubbly, Novi, MI Lemon WILL work, but it takes time. It will "push" your "acne -to be" deep inside your skin out to the surface of your skin. So it is normal to get worse before getting better. Give lemon at least 3 weeks to see result. Same thing happened to me when i started using lemon. I broke out a lot, but it's getting better in 2-3 weeks, I used to have very severe acne, and now I'm acne-free. Be patient, and you will see result within weeks. Drinking freshly squeezed lemon every morning and night will also help acne. Good luck! =)

Pros:

Works if you use it smartly.

Cons:

I wouldn't use it alone.

What I do is mix lemon juice with honey. That way I won't experience the irritation and stinging found when using lemon juice alone. So, you get the moisturizing, antibacterial qualities of honey with the brightening and exfoliating qualities of lemon juice. It works for me. I would also wear a sunscreen during the day. The sun could easily undo the work lemon juice has done for your skin.
