Use straight lemon juice from the store and put a lot on your face keep on using it for another week and use daily and if you don't see the a change then you should try something else if you have severe acne then I recommend seeing a dermatologist but make sure before application you wash your face if it burns it's a good thing hope this helps.😊

Use raw lemon..or 100%lemon juice....most lemon has additives that's take away from lemons detoxification

Honey is a moisturizer so maybe your skin doesn't like that. Try just water and very little lemon and leave it on for a couple of minutes. And no a burning sensation on your face doesn't always necessarily mean it is a good thing. I was just using water to wash my face for a while because if you look up a list of bad ingredients that could be in your face washes and make up even I it says noncomedogenic. There are thousands.

Don`t do that!

It`s harmful, dont apply it to your skin!

I think it makes the most sense to use Shea Butter.

DON'T USE IT!!!

I had pretty clear skin before except for that occasional period zit that sometimes left red marks, I researched online and found it effective to treat the marks . So I diluted it (80% water, 20% lemon juice, and the lemons were fresh).I used it 2 times a week at night. At first it didn't effect my skin but soon I began getting large n of pimples only cheeks that left behind such bad scars that I am crying seeing them :-(.It has WORSED MY SKIN and my self esteem too.|::cry:

Pros:

Makes skin feel smooth. Smells good.

Cons:

Makes face break out. Had no effects.

I just started using this last week, and I wish I could give it more time to see if it actually worked, but unfortunately it made me break out way too much, so I had to stop. I've had pretty moderate acne since high school, but after taking Accutane for a couple years my skin finally cleared up with the occasional breakout here and there. Unfortunately I have a lot of dark spots from when I had acne, so I've been trying to find something to lighten them up. I bought two lemons, squeezed the juice out, mixed 3/4 filtered water with it, dabbed it on my face like a toner at night, washed it off 15 minutes later. Haven't seen any improvements to the dark spots, just a lot of breakouts. If you have sensitive skin, I'd recommend talking to a dermotologist before trying this one.

Pros:

none

Cons:

left my skin burn
caused unnecessary redness
did not help with acne at all
prolonged red marks
dried my skin like crazy

Honestly, i would NOT recommend this item. It left me burned, dried and irritated. I would only put a bit on, but it still burned like HELL. NOT recommended

Pros:

None.

Cons:

-Made my face dry
-Burns!!!!
-Makes my face red
-Makes acne worse

I used this for 2 days and my skin burned. It looked like someone spilt hot, boiling tea all over my face. It's horrible. I had to get an expensive cream to get my skin back to normal. I wouldn't reccomend this for people who have sensitive skin. -_-

Pros:

smells nice
fun to try
used it consistantly for a week to try it out

Cons:

ultimately its a sticky product okay fruit is fruit - it is not an acne medication. it is an acidic citrus fruit that will not 'cure' any of your acne.

broke me out, inevitably.

try it out, it could prove effective for you but i dont know..my thoughts are ambiguous. i have tried absolutely everything on the market and from the dermatologists - i have spent a lot of money trying to find something effective! i will tell you what i swear by and that is tea tree facial wash from superdry its mild and has made my skin look great. try it out :) its like £1

Pros:

-Smells nice

Cons:

-Burns
-Itches
-Stings
-Made my acne the worst it has ever been

This did nothing for me but make my acne worse. I only did it for a week but I suffered the painful results (of severe acne) for 2 months. You can try diluting it with water so it doesn't burn your face so much, but no matter how much water I used it felt like I put gasoline on my face and set it on fire.

Pros:

I didn't like it at all

Cons:

- Stings
- Sticky
- Didn't actually make any diffirence

I probably didn't stick with it long enough, but the amount of stinging I experienced just wasn't worth it. I started applying it to help fade my acne scars, but quit after a month of burning itchy skin with every application. I didn't break out, nor did I suffer any nasty effects other than while the lemon juice was actually on my skin. In the end I just waited for the scarring to dissapear by itself.

Pros:

didn't worsen my acne.

Cons:

nor did it make it better.

for some odd reason, I felt absolutely nothing. no pain or sting. I squeezed a bit of lemon juice out of the lemon onto a cotton ball. did this for 3 days, and nothing. oh well.
