Pros:

Acne is reduced significantly
Prevents future breakouts b/c of its acidic
helps exfoliates
inexpensive

Cons:

stings ALOT

My skin was at its worse and my self esteem was plunging with it. I tried to avoid looking in the mirror at all times b/c it was a constant reminder of acne on my face. I always felt that people were looking at my acne and not at me when i was talking to them. I was desperate to find ways of reducing and hopefully finally stopping the acne from appearing on my face. I read online about lemons that helps reduce acne and the scarring that follows with it. Although, I also read that drinking water with some lemon juice is good for acne and helps kick up your metabolism in the morning haha. I just used it topically and I have to say it really does the trick, but like it said it WILL sting while u leave it to sit on your face. It just takes a few weeks for it to stop stinging. My face was slowly getting better, but the scars from previous acne breakouts were still there. I like to call them battle scars since it sounds cooler LOL anyways. Lemons also help your skin to exfoliate from what i read so as i kept using it every night. My scars were slowly going away too. I know that this description is pretty long and it isnt enough to justify how well lemons do the trick since i avoided taking pictures also.... So please give lemons a try and see if it does anything for your acne! :D

Pros:

-Lightens skin over time and gives a healthy glow
-Restores back your face again overtime especially from a picking episode

Cons:

-Stings really bad when used on a picked spot
-May had been the cause of cystic acne on me

I have been using lemons over a year on and off and currently I have stopped using it. Partly because I don't want to get anymore lighter on my face. I think the best way to use it, is before going to bed and using it as a toner with a cotton wool. I never rinsed it off though until the following morning. I am starting to wonder if lemons have been the cause of my cystic acne as I never used to have them before. But that's probably because I never rinsed it off. Overall, I suppose I've taken what the juice has done for me for granted over the period when my skin was really bad (as I am my own cause of self picking) and it seemed to be the best remedy on giving me back my skin again and also at times given me a lovely satin healthy glow. I've stopped using it because I'm worried it has been the cause of my cystic acne, a sort of a 'catch 22' situation. Lemons are ideal for evening out the overall complexion and tone. But I can't remember if it decreased or increased my spots as recently my skin is looking good just using Clean&Clear blackhead scrub.

Pros:

Faded red blemish scars slightly

Cons:

Stung/Itched slightly
Sticky

I really liked using lemon. I did find my red blemish scars (from past acne) faded. It will be worth keeping this up to see a better improvement over time. I used lemon diluted with water on some occasions, and sometimes dabbed a little slice of lemon directly to the red blemishes/scars (both stung/itched the same amount). Apply before bed, and be careful in the sun.

Pros:

Smother the skin, lightning skin color, removes acne.

Cons:

it required consistency and patient to get best result as this is natural treatment and most people want it instantly.

I use mixture of Lemon Juice to remove the acne and Honey to avoid sting and 'too acid' from Lemon. Honey also works as natural antibacterial. it help you to kill bacterial which caused acne.

Pros:

Easily available
Very cheap
Natural
Helps faded hyperpigmentation

Cons:

Stings a little upon application

Because it is so difficult to precisely pinpoint what causes acne, it is also very difficult to prove what can treat it. Therefore, I would love to say that applying a mixture of undiluted lemon juice, ginger and tea tree oil every night for 3 months has almost completely cleared my acne, but I can't. All I can say is that my skin is better since I've been using this mixture, although other factors, such as stress or diet may have helped the improvement of my skin. I would certainly recommend using lemon juice, it's cheap and it works well to fade the scars left behind. A little tip: Avoid going out in the sun with lemon juice on your face. Sun + acid = no!

Pros:

work very well
fades ance scars
prevents new breakouts

Cons:

stings a bit

Before I go to bed every night i cut open a fresh lemon and juice it, then wash my face, apply the lemon juice, and wait 30 minutes to wash. I also drink the remaining lemon juice and use Dan regimen. it works very well, however right now i unfortunately have a big, red pimple on my cheek. i have very minor break outs now and before i would get a new breakout practially every night. definitely try it!
