Pros:

-Chemical Free
-Great Smell
-Good Moisterizor
-Gentle

Cons:

-Stings for a second.
-Leaves my T-Zone shiny.
-Broke out on my forehead.

I used fresh squeezed lemon on my face for seven days. After two days I already saw a difference in the size of the flat pink scars. I'm a naturally really pale but the lemons seemed to give my face a darker glow which I loved! The skin that was unaffected by scars or acne ended up very smooth and my pores looked nonexsistant. However my current blemishes took WAY longer to go away when I put lemon on them. It seemed to prolong the healing process. My forehead also mildly broke out in tiny red bumps, not pimples, just some irritation. I started using lemon to fade my old ance scars. It seemed to work so I switched to all facial products to natural facewash and moisturizor and will only be using lemons on my scars to avoid further irritation on my forehead. Overall I would reccomend it. It's very cheap and chemical free! Can't get more natural then this.

Pros:

works pretty well - great for bacne!
easy

Cons:

stings when first applied
dries out skin
sticky

I first used lemon juice on my face years ago. Just apply to trouble areas (blackheads, usually), leave on for 10 minutes or whatever and wash off. It stings quite a bit, but its sort of nice! but I found lemon juice was a bit harsh for my face - it stings and dries out skin and while it works okay, but I've got products that work much better. however, I found it works really, really well for body acne. I have very mild body acne - occasionally a couple blemishes on my back, that kind of thing. so I just apply it to my back in the evening; it would dry and I would sleep with it on. in the morning, I would shower off. its a bit awkward to apply, unfortunately. it still stings, but I don't have to worry about drying out my back. serious, it works great for bacne. I used this super often last year - I had lots of events that involved wearing dresses with low backs, and this saved my life. the results don't always become clear right away, though - I would start this at least a week before an event (often longer, just to be sure - and sometimes I would use it every second night or so, not every single night). I used bottled lemon juice (like Realemon) -- super convenient!

Pros:

Its an over night remedy for pimples you want gone in the morning.

Cons:

It burns for a minute once you place the lemon juice on.
Makes you want to itch your face like crazy during the stinging and burning sensation but its gone after the just 1- 2 minutes and you forget its there.

It works ! It works ! It works ! It's affordable Not putting a bunch of unknown mixed ingredients on your precious face. You know exactly what it is doing the job and know it's completely safe.

Pros:

*COMPLETELY CLEARED ALL BLACKHEADS WITH FIRST USE!!!!
*Tasted and smelled good
*Cheap

Cons:

*Burns a bit, but who cares

I first used the lemon juice last night before i went to bed. When I woke up, all my blackheads were gone. It didn't do much for whiteheads/pimples, but I've only used it once so far. I'll post a follow up in a week or so. If you have stubborn blackheads, USE LEMONS.

Pros:

Helps with acne!
Smells yummy :)
Helps even out the skin tone
Not a complete miracle but it does help I've noticed.

Cons:

OMG IT STINGS SO FREAKING MUCH (maybe i am just a big baby but it really does sting) also makes me want to itch my face like crazy. But when it dries its no big deal. Those five minutes though sure do hurt though...I just tell myself pain is weakness leaving the body!

Try it! Its REALLY cheap so its not like your losing that much money. It will not not hurt your skin and after a few treatments it does help with left over acne marks. Overall i think its GREAT!

Pros:

Fades marks quite remarkably!
Natural so no extreme dryness
No discomfort

Cons:

Stings when first applied but worth it!!
Can make eyes water
Can at first imflame skin then it gets to work!

Definatly recommed, cheap, but if you want something for more drying on acne then i find calamyl more useful (i put it over the top of lemon juice!)

Pros:

- face is brighter and glowing
- bumps and zits have subsided
- very visible improvement (except for during that time of the month)
- dries out zits in a flash

Cons:

- stings like HELL
- may be too drying for dry/sensitive skins (skin feels tight)
- if applied on sensitive skin it turns red, bumpy and angry.

I've had troubled/sensitive skin for the past 3-4 months, when it used to be pretty good and glowing. I'm not sure why my skin turned bad all of a sudden, but one month ago I read about lemon juice being applied topically on troubled skin, so why not....since it's cheap. Everynight after cleansing I cut out a fresh lemon and apply the juice directly on to my face (and then it hurts like HELL for 2 minutes, but hey, the price of beauty!) and I juice the rest of the lemon and drink it with water(it is a detoxifier). I leave it on for about one hour and wash off, then I put on my toner and moisturizer. After 1 week of this treatment there was visible improvement, and now I'm on my 3rd week and my skin is ALMOST back to its previous good condition! I'm wayyyy pleased with the results and my family and boyfriend have noticed and commented on my improved skin condition. I still get very small zits that erupt on my chin area, but they dry up in a jiffy, could be because my skin is still purging toxins and excess sebum out. For an extra boost, exfoliate, cleanse, apply lemon juice, clay/mud mask over it, then wash off and complete your toner+moisturizer routine.

Pros:

helps scars alot and quickly, smell, its easy

Cons:

can sting on open pimples or cuts, i wouldnt reccomend it for dry skin. i broke out a little, but it might just be TOM

i was getting really clear, but i had all the stupid dark marks on my cheeks. in the past i had tried lemons but didnt really find them effective. then, i read online about it. i learned that THE SECRET IS STEAMING YOUR FACE BEFORE USING! im on day #5 and my marks are so much clearer. i steam with salt water in a pan on the stove. apply with cotton balls. leave on for like 20 min. works for me.

Pros:

-It helps reduce red spots and redness after acne
-smooth skin
-cheap

Cons:

any

I've used lemon with powdered whey as a face mask for about a week. I have problem with red spots after pimples. I've let mask on face for about 30 minutes. After washed up the mask, red spots were smaller and less noticeable. I use it everyday and I think my skin is better...
