Pros:

it's mild, no burning, leaves skin super soft after application with a healthy glow

Cons:

If you skin is not used to stronger peels and products this will be a great starting point and may be all you need. It will take some time to work, for me it will take even longer.

since I'm pregnant I can no longer use my Retin-A which really sucks!! I have to be very cautious with the peels that I can use and how it may or may not affect the baby, says skin care experts. So at this time where my face is used to stronger peels I have been reduced to using the lactic acid peels from Makeup Artist along with the Vita C serum to tame my breakouts from hormones and to reduce past blemish scars, basically pick up where the Retin-A left off. It has been 2 weeks since I began and I have done 3 peels thus far. Retin-A is a big shoe to fill and the lactic acid is gonna take twice as long to get me the same results. I will stay optimistic and continue to use it throughout the duration of my pregnancy and breastfeeding since I have no other choice, but as soon as I'm done me and Retin-A have a heavy date lol

Pros:

This has made a big difference in my skin. It is softer and smoother. Clearer and less acne!!! My scars and red marks have faded great.

Cons:

I can't say there is one. If you price compare you can get a good deal, just make sure to get at least 20% or higher for a good peel effect.

Great way to refresh face and improve acne. As well as old acne scars.

Pros:

nothing noticeable

Cons:

vertigo, nausea

It was my first and LAST lactic acid peel. The technician left the peel on for the minimum amount of time since it was my first. I was dizzy immediately after standing up and could not walk straight. Went home and a full-on vertigo spell ensued that lasted 3 days. Like another reviewer, I too, have occasionally had the same result from spray tans or home tanning. Beware!

Pros:

Too soon to tell the effect on my skin

Cons:

nausea, dizziness, vomiting.

First LAP yesterday 6PM. It was on my face 5 mins. Dizzy and disoriented immediately afterwards. Sick to my stomach all evening and woke up with mild vertigo, dizziness and vomited once. Couldn't go to work. I don't know why I've reacted like this, but do have sensitive skin and once got vertigo from using one brand of self tanning lotion. Cannot find anyone on the Web (yet) with same reaction. Just want to say, think and read lots before deciding on any of these procedures.

Pros:

It helps a bit. My pores look a little better, size wise, but nothing significant, yet. I've only used lactic acid 25% twice. I'd probably have to do 5 more treatments to see real results

Cons:

BURNT THE HELL OUT OF ME! but I'm sensitive all around, so it was no surprise. I used it a day ago. My skin feels a bit tender. It feels like I got sun-burn. I noticed some fine lines, but that just may be from the burn effect.

So, I new to acids. I'm extra sensitive, so that's why I resorted to lactic acid. I really can't give a whole review yet, just because I feel I haven't done enough treatments. Overall, clearing skin wise, mehhh.... it helped some blackheads and whiteheads. It dried some pimples faster than the usual speed for me. My scars still look prominent. My wrinkles still look apparent. Well see... I'm going to do a few more treatments and keep y'all posted. GOOD LUCK. OH, and I would recommend it only to those who tried everything... doesn't hurt to try....

Pros:

Dries out acne. Makes skin soft. Reduces inflammation.

Have to use this product for about 5-8 weeks to know what it actually does. I use the 40% Lactic acid bought from Ebay. I will try this tomo for the second time and I have a pustule acne right now. Wanna see what it does with it :-) . My pores are open a bit and I am hopin to see improvement after about 2 months of use.
