Pros:

This product is amazing

Cons:

Oily (imagine that!) so I only use it at night

This stuff is awesome. Since I've been using it my face has been better hydrated, looked healthier, and my shave has been smoother and closer. It helps with acne and works wonders at healing red marks, scabs, shaving nicks, etc. I love this stuff so much that it should be officially integrated into the regimen. I credit my nearly clear skin in part to this. By the way, I usually use it by mixing it into my moisturizer.

Pros:

Makes skin so soft and smooth. It improves the tone and texture as well.

Cons:

Cannot use on my face or hair!!

After reading numerous reviews on jojoba oil I decided to buy some and give it a try. I have acne-prone skin and wanted to see if it would help...... I used it on my face and after just using it once I got HUGE JUICY PIMPLES!! I used it for a few days because I wasn't sure it was the oil that caused them, but the more I used it the more lumps I got. So I stopped using it on my face. But I was still getting HUGE JUICY PIMPLES.... and then I realized I was using it in my hair....which I wear down all the time and it touches my face. So I stopped putting it in my hair as well. But I can use it on my body and it makes my skin so nice and smooth, so I will continue to use it for that purpose instead of body lotion. I really wish that I could have used it everywhere because it is a really nice product.

Pros:

Great moisturizer

Cons:

gave me huge breakouts.

I have had a weird time with this jojoba oil. My first week, I thought it was a miracle product. My skin was very comfortable, soft, had a nice glow and was ot oily at all. Then, by the second week, I strated to break out in tiny little whiteheads. As I had read the reviews, I thought it was only the initial purge people were talking about so I continued using it. In fact I started using it twice a day to get rid of the breakouts faster. By the third week, I was having even more breakouts and my the end of the forth week I had to stop using it because I was having huge, painful bumps that just won't go away. I don't know if it is because I have an allergic reaction to it but I can't say that it did much good for my skin.

Models bible guide to Best Benefit to Jojoba Oil- Use warm (not Hot) Flannel to open pores. Then Rub a little Oil to skin for 2 mins. Then rinse with cold ( Not ice cold). Pat dry with Facail tissue.

Pros:

concentrated, cheap, easy to find.

Cons:

none so far

I bought the 90% jojoba and 10% vit E oil and I have added quite a bit of manuka oil to this mixture, not sure how much but as I use it up I add more manuka to increase the concentration. I apply with a cottom ball. I wash with dr bonners soap, then apply this 2x a day. I am using other remedies sporadically to exfoliate and treat, like calamine lotion to spot treat, drinking ACV every day, steaming my face and apply sulfur mask a few times a week, exfoliating with salycilic acid or a salt scrub a few times a week also. It's not perfect yet, but it's getting better and I'm not irritating my skin with the harsh BP any longer so I'm happier about that. I'm 35 years old so most OTC products end up just drying out my face without really treating the acne.

Pros:

Amazing moisturizer. Non-irritating. Dries matte. Doesn't aggravate acne, at least.

Cons:

The Aura Cacia version dispenses too much from the nozzle and doesn't come with a dropper of any sort.

I combine this with aloe vera gel to make the only moisturizer I can tolerate. Jojoba oil for its moisturization and aloe vera for its soothing properties. Also, the skin around my eyes gets very dry from topical medications. Using the jojoba oil straight as an eye cream provides the intense moisturization I need. I also leave it on my hair and scalp at night, then shampoo it out in the morning. My hair is no longer greasy all the time, and I no longer have to use conditioner.

Pros:

Only have to use a few drops so it lasts a while. It soothes tight dry skin after your application of acne creams. Controls oil and dryness...awesome stuff!

Cons:

Wait like 10-15 minutes before appyling make-up or leaving the house. It can give your face a greasy look.

This is a very good product for all skin types! Just add 3 drops of the jojoba oil to your regular moisturizer...tada!

Pros:

Smoothes the skin. Purges blackheads to the surface. Natural product so no unwanted product on the skin.

Cons:

Can give face a shiny glowy look.Initial breakout which lasted about 3 weeks

I have oily acne prone skin. Most of my acne is comedonal so I had loads of blackheads on forehead and nose which turn into tiny pus pimples. When I tried the OCM with jojoba oil I broke out in loads of tiny pimples on my forehead in the 2nd week. I decided to persevere with the OCM and now the pimples are almost gone and most of the blackheads are going. My nose looks clearer and the pores appear to be shrinking. I assume all those pimples came from the trapped sebum in the blackheads so if you have a lot of blackheads, maybe be prepared for your skin to get worse first before getting better. I have always had a healthy diet so sometimes your acne can be caused by the products you put on your skin. Lots of sebum production to compensate for the drying agents you put on the face. My face is less oily. As long as I can control the acne I don't mind too much about the oil-less wrinkles when I'm older!! I OCM at night and mix jojoba with my dermal clay cleanser in the morning.

Pros:

- absorbs excess oil from skin
- great for oily hair!!!
- moisturizes wonderfully

Cons:

- sometimes can be too greasy
- can't wear during the day

I started using jojoba last month and stopped within my 2nd week because I felt it wasn't doing much. I kept putting it in my hair because I is so great with my hair. About 1 week ago, i started using it on my face again. in the morning i cannot apply it b/c its too greasy. i apply my aha sunscreen for the daytime after washing with a mild soap (either spectro or aveeno moisturizing bar). i give my face a quick rince at lunch time so that i can reapply my sunscreen. in the evening, i wash my face with spectro jel and apply 4 drops of jojoba oil to my face. in the night, i just rince off the jojoba oil with warm water and a little soap if it is needed. and i apply my BP. so far i feel good about my skin. i hope this will help fade my scars and keep my acne away.
