Pros:

Doesn't smell, takes little time to apply

Cons:

none

My skin tends to be dry, flaky & I have deep pores and they are always dark (blackheads) - specifically around my nose, chin & between my eyebrows. I went to the dermatologist and he said I was lucky my acne wasn't as visible as other types and pretty much sent me on my way with a prescription that he said may or may not work. Well I found a bottle of this stuff and thought I'd give it a try. Its been about 4 days and litterally my pores have shrunk - between my eyebrows I don't even see any darkness to my pores - its amazing. The other areas - nose & chin are significantly improved. I've been using it after I wash my face at night, just a little goes a long way. Who cares about the bottle leaking - its cheap and it works and it's not a hassle to apply! Not sure about other types of acne but for people with larger pores & constant blackheads I would highly recommend it. Who would have though oil would cure blackheads?

Pros:

Makes your skin SO soft, wonderfully moisturizing! Inexpensive! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Don't be scare to put this oil on your face! Please try it!

Cons:

Oil can get on the outside of the bottle, making it awkward to handle or travel with...and yes, they really need to consider putting a dropper on this thing! It can be easy to put too much!

First of all, I'm about 99% sure it does not matter if you use the "Organic" kind or the regular kind...I mean really, do you think the Desert Essence farmer decided to put chemicals on some of the plants and not the others? I bet they are both organic! They just make more money off it by putting the word on the bottle. ANYWAY. I have been on Tazorac for about 6 months and started using Jojoba about 2 weeks ago. Prior to the jojoba, I was very disappointed in my Taz. I feel that the jojoba is making my taz work better! In the evening, I first I wet my face, then I apply 2 drops Jojoba, and 1-2 tea tree, let it soak in, then apply taz, then tea tree for spot treatment. In the morning, I wash my face, ACV/lemon toner, then put 1 drop jojoba, 2 tea tree, let soak in, apply SPF, then make-up! This has cleared up my acne dramatically! My skin is really starting to feel beautiful. Doubles as a great eye make-up remover! [link removed] on sale (non-organic kind)!

Pros:

Cheap, safe, natural, does it all

Cons:

If you don't keep up the nightly ritual, the benefits fade fast. Doesn't treat existing acne.

When I first used this I had a 2 week breakout. I stuck it out and after that I was pretty much zit free for a couple months! But then I got tired of the whole ritual associated with massaging it in and tissuing it off so I stopped. Skin went back to normal in about a week. But if you're not lazy, try this and stick out the first couple of weeks. While using this, people were definitely noticing. My boyfriend even said I looked radiant. Wow!

Pros:

It's affordable, it softens the skin, it reduces the amount of my own oil, works well with other products.

Cons:

the bottle sucks. You need very little and the bottle pours too much.

I was the acne king until I started using Jojoba. I have found that if I add 2 to 3 drops of the oil mixed with a quarter size amount of aloe-vera it makes the best facial moisturizer and tonic for your scalp. It has almost eliminated my acne. I have been using it for about 9 months now and my skin regularly get better and better. And the aloe helps sooth the skin and helps with the effects of the sun.

Pros:

mosturizes, cleans, clears and makes me feel like I look younger (I am 46 with mild acne, still).

Cons:

comes out too fast, so I feel like I am wasting some.

Love it. Can't believe I didn't find it sooner. Going to have my teens try it now. Can't hurt!

Pros:

Great moisturizer, a little goes a long way, helped with flakiness

Cons:

since it is oil it is a little messy to dispense

Great product and best of all natural. I will put it on directly as a moisturizer or just on areas where it is needed as it can leave your face a bit shiny. or mix with dan's moisturizer as directed. i don't know if it alone helps with preventing acne as i am using dan's regimen as well.

Pros:

cheap-$7 dessert essence bottle from trader joe's that lasts a few months.
definity fewer pimples, no dry skin, better complexion.
your face is LESS SHINY later on in the day and feels CLEANER.

Cons:

might feel oily to some people initially, especially if you're used to oil-free.

i've gone through times where my skin was really bad. most of those times i was using acne washes and oil-free moisturizers. your face needs oil, especially after a drying wash. i use a natural bar soap without fragrances, which is nothing special, but cleans sufficiently. i use a small glass dropper bottle for this, so its not as messy. just a few drops will do. after a while you'll get used to the oily feel, which is not extreme. your face gets a healthy sheen from it that lessens in intensity during the day. in fact, your face is less shiny. i still get the hormonal pimples and pimples from touching my chin when i'm on the computer too much. but otherwise my skin is clear and glowing and not an oil slick by the end of the day.

Pros:

so far, no new breakouts since i started using it. my pores are less visible, i get less greasy throughout the day, and i think one day it could be all i need (in combination with water and a washcloth). i've still been using my neutrogena scrub.

Cons:

but only at night now. Cons - it's a little terrifying to put oil on acne-prone skin. hard to get out just a drop or two from the bottle, slight sheen for 5 mins after putting it on. so no real cons so far! i guess at some point my skin may hateit

i've been dealing with acne for 16 years. after i went off the pill i started experiencing terrible cystic acne in addition to the regular stuff. i've seriously tried everything (mom is a dermatologist). it's only been a few days so it might not work long term (i'll post in a few months or when it stops working if that happens), but so far things are fantastic. in the morning i wash my face with warm water and a washcloth(gently) then rinse with cold. i leave my face wet and with my hands wet, rub 1-2 drops between my hands and then rub into my wet face. i massage it in until most of the water on my face is gone and then pat whatever is left away. boyfriend said my skin is "glowing" yesterday! remaining cystic pimples from earlier this week are smaller, less red, and almost gone. NO new pimples since i started using it. use the neutrogena anti-wrinkle/anti-blemish scrub at night before j. oil, will probably stop if oil seems to be working perfectly. TRY IT! just don't use too much!
