Not Fit for Hormonal Acne Sufferers

p3fc3f4c884ca4d30aa475a682f43ca554a0aed40.jpgIf you suffer from Hormonal acne like mine, this product will/might irritate your skin. My skin after I use this product (1x a week), it will get red, smooth, dry, and feels clean. Then I put moisturizer after because of the dryness. BUT the day after that, I would get 1 or 2 new pimples. At first, I thought it was just normal, knowing that my skin breaks out once in a while esp during the time of the month. But it came to the point that it was popping out every after I put on the mask. SO I stopped using it now. I conclude that it might not be for me. We all have different skin types and has different factors why we break out. In my case, this product wasn't for me. Plus, I am kind of acidic. Maybe that adds the factor why it didn't worked for me. But still, this is a nice product. :)

Not what I expected
Hasn't helped with my breakouts at all which is a huge disappointment but I hear that works better with apple cider vinegar which I can't find anywhere. It's leaves my face smoothe and soft though!

Apple Cider Vinegar "with the mother" is on Amazon
November 5, 2017
Get Bragg ACV with the mother from Amazon. While you’re at it, add honey to your order. This mask should be done once a week.

This mask is very powerful, it's supposed to be used as a weekly treatment, more frequently (3x a week) if you want. Using it every day can dry out and irritate your skin.

Using such a strong mask as this that often will cause irritation and further, cause inflammation and that’s why you’re breaking out. You’re drying out your skin too much. Put moisture back into your skin and allow the mask to do its job once a week before bedtime.

Clay
I purchased this produce after reading the great reviews online. I mixed the clay with water and felt no tightening of pulsating effect except the clay drying! My Clogged pores have come to the surface of my skin but that's about it! Should I be applying a thick layer of thin and can I leave it longer than 20 mins as suggested on the tub? Any suggestions ?

No pulsating effect
Hi i am 22 yr old female and suffer from oily, acne prone skin. My chin is covered in small cysts, more like under the skin spots .they dont hurt or come to head they are just there and have been for 4 years + . They look horrendous. i feel like i need a deeeeeep cleanse to make whatever is stuck inside come out and so i was recomended this clay mask . I have used it 3+ times now all over my face and dont feel a pulsating effect at all. I am dissapointed as i feel i really need a product like this for my skin. I mix it equal parts with regular apple cider vinegar . It sizzles as i make it but on my face its just like a regular face mask . It dries up , i wash it , i get a tiny bit of redness but thats all. Am i using it correctly?

How are you mixing it? If you're using a metal spoon/fork to mix it, it takes away from the clay. Try using a plastic soon or put both the clay and vinegar (or whatever you use to mix it) in a little ziploc bag and shake shake shake.

Not sure what happened...

Pros:

smoothens skin
reduce a little redness
(not sure) reduce pimple size

Cons:

Doesn't clean out white and black heads
Doesn't do anything to my current break outs
Not much change to the skin condition

I just got the product delivered to me today! i was very VERY excited to use it after reading so much positive reviews from many people all over the world, so i rushed in to the bathroom washed my face and tried the socall "the world most powerful facial" with ACV, i have a few pimples on my chin, between my nose and mouse and a few on my left cheek, my forehead and right cheek is pretty clear if the slight scaring of previous pimple are not considered, during the masking process, is was fun and very tightening, it took 40-50 min to dry, not completely, but 98% dry, i washed the mask off with warm water and circular motion which the mask came off quite easily, but i was somewhat disappointed with the result, the pimples on my chin and between mouse and nose has already got the white head, which i was able to resist and not pop, after washing off the mask they are still there, smaller, but still there. it didn't really do anything for the blackhead on the side of my nose, it did reduce the redness of my face and smoothen it, but overall I don't think it did what it claimed to do, for me anyway. I will keep using it EVERYDAY until friday, and to see any improvements i take pictures of my face once or twice a day to see the change. I have fairly oily skin, I was going to use coconut oil after wards but I used witch hazel toner instead, to be honest, I'm really disappointed, but I wouldn't say its a waste of my money... yet.

Coconut oil is highly comedogenic and known to clog pores. Not good if you are acne prone. You should try out hemp oil, argan oil, or Rosehip (all 0 on the comedogenic scale and won't contribute to any pore clogging). Hope this helps!

Pros:

a very relaxing experience
can feel your pores being cleansed
pulsating on your face

Cons:

I've only just started using it
as expected it draws out impurities however is a pro as i believe this is a case of getting worse before it gets better

i have only started using this product mixing it Apple cider vinegar as a masque (1hour wearing) I feel this is going to be a good treatment as I have very oily skin with very aggravated red cystic acne! :( with oily skin/ acneic we need to draw out all impurities and oils, killing the bacteria. will update in a month to see outcome.

Pros:

Dries out pimples
Cheap

Cons:

Way too drying
Harsh and abrasive when removing
Messy

I bought this after reading so many rave reviews about it. I mixed it with ACV and would apply to my oily areas (I'm oily/combo) and let the mask dry, then rinse off. In my experience, I feel like this clay is for those with more severe/more oily/less sensitive skin than mine. It was extremely drying, and as gently as I tried to wash it off, it felt very abrasive. I'm not sure if it was this clay or the ACV (I was using ACV as a toner at the time) that irritated my skin, but I've since stopped using both and feel like my skin is doing much better.
