Pros:

-Reduces swelling
-Makes skin feel amazing afterward
-Shrinks pores

Cons:

None

I have been recently trying home remedies in my desperate attempt for clear skin. I have been applying lemon juice topically 2x daily, as well as doing ice massages 2x daily. I've been doing this for 1 week. I've seen a visible improvement in my acne discolorations and some improvement in my active spots. I believe the lemon juice is helping on the discolorations, and the ice is helping reduce swelling on active spots. Bottom line, I will keep doing ice massages 2x daily. The coolness stings my face slightly, especially when I hold a cube on an active spot, but after I'm done my skin feels cleaner, brighter, and tighter. I would recommend trying this, but also try lemon juice as a toner afterwards!

Try it ! Worth it ! Great before a day out !
This helps as it calms down irritations which causes the redness. Also this can kill the bacteria in the pours stopping break outs. However this will only work if you keep the skin clean and avoid touching your face as coldness open your pours meaning more germs can get in so try no to touch your face. Then just before you go to bed put you face it Luke warm water to close the pours and you should see an improvement in redness and the size of the pimples

True ,when I ice my face, the ice melts pretty fast due to body heat. My face feels really tight and firm after this. So yeah....ice tightens your pores to prevent dirt and bacteria from getting in them.

Pros:

Shrinks pores
scars are GONE
reduces redness

Cons:

hurts!!

This is awesome! I tried it about a year ago and I do it once a week. It hurts, but it is wayy worth it! I massage the ice cubes into one area of my face until it melts, then i do it in another spot. it turns red and puffs up, but after about 3 minutes your face is all clear!! really amazing!!

Pros:

Free.
Natural.
Made acne less noticeable.
Made pimples a bit smaller.
Cleans the skin.

Cons:

Makes skin red for a few minutes after this.

This is like the most amazing thing I've tried. It made my acne spots less noticeable then they just disappeared. The first few times you try this your going to not want to do this because its really cold but you'll get used to it...trust me its worth it. I massage the ice onto my skin for a few minutes after washing my skin.

October 11, 2015
pretty good
I used it on some really red nodules and it made the pain and redness go away. they're still there but aren't really visible, which sucks but is much better than how they were like before. Also works good for stopping pustules that haven't fully formed yet .

Ice Cubes
soothe a burn, help with puffy eyes - but use with care and a barrier between it and your skin. Free - make it at home yourself.

Help me!!
I'm desperate for answers!! I just tried the ice thing two days ago by just putting ice onto my skin and rub it around my whole face until it melts. I woke up and a lot of my redness was gone. So I did it last night again after washing my face and I noticed that this time when I did it my cheeks felt a little bit irritated. I then put on my moisturizer and went to sleep. This morning I woke up and see little white spots I mean like really really little white spots on my cheeks around where my acne is! I guess they're whiteheads. Now I'm so scared that I just made my face worst!! I haven't touched them at all. They feel a little bit irritated, sensitive, and sorta itchy. I'm so scared they're going to form into pimples! Idk what to do!! Could this happen!? Please answer because I'm going to have a nervous breakdown!!
