Pros:

*Cheap, almost free.
*Really works.
*Makes your skin refreshed.
*Reduces oil on your skin.
*Simple to do.
*Reduces the general acne aspect on your skin.
*Makes you look younger.

Cons:

*May be so cold, if you use it too much on the same area can be painful.
*It may take a while for you to get used to, but it is worth it.
*It is good for you to try to make a bigger ice cub for you to use it just once; you will not want to go to the kitchen more than once to take ice cubes.

I've recently been rubbing ice on my face, or I call them "ice facials." I use it twice a day, once in the morning and once in the night right after I wash my face. I rub an ice cube all over my face and then I press it on my problem areas, such as on cluster of pimples or on my nose where I have large pores and blackheads. I love the way it feels on my skin and it's good for those angry red pimples that hurt. It both reduces the swelling and eases the redness. Definitely try it out, I mean why not, ice cubes are so simple, everybody has them and they are so easy to use with no negative side effects.

Pros:

Skin feels fresh
Spot size reduced
Shrinks Pores

Cons:

Cold can make your skin a little red

I think these are really good, but what I found to reduce redness is to wrap the ice cube in tissue first - you still have the coldness but it makes your face less red.

Pros:

-Reduces swelling
-Makes skin feel amazing afterward
-Shrinks pores

Cons:

None

I have been recently trying home remedies in my desperate attempt for clear skin. I have been applying lemon juice topically 2x daily, as well as doing ice massages 2x daily. I've been doing this for 1 week. I've seen a visible improvement in my acne discolorations and some improvement in my active spots. I believe the lemon juice is helping on the discolorations, and the ice is helping reduce swelling on active spots. Bottom line, I will keep doing ice massages 2x daily. The coolness stings my face slightly, especially when I hold a cube on an active spot, but after I'm done my skin feels cleaner, brighter, and tighter. I would recommend trying this, but also try lemon juice as a toner afterwards!

This is awesome! I tried it about a year ago and I do it once a week. It hurts, but it is wayy worth it! I massage the ice cubes into one area of my face until it melts, then i do it in another spot. it turns red and puffs up, but after about 3 minutes your face is all clear!! really amazing!!

Pros:

*shrinks pores
*less redness on skin
*pimples reduce in size
*fades acne scars

Cons:

*NONE!

I am currently 16 years of age and have had acne for 5 years! I have used everything; antibiotics, benozyl peroxide, other acne creams, face washes (like 20 types), tonors and masks (natural and manufactured). I must of spent hundreds on these but they never worked! My acne is severe, and I have lots of scars all around my face, as well as big red pimples accompanying them. I searched up natural methods and found ice. I use normal ice cubes on my face twice a day, in the morning and at night, after I use my face wash and before I apply my moisturiser. I just rub it around my blemishes (not too hard), for about 5 minutes, then dry my face with a CLEAN TOWEL- trust me! After doing this after 2 weeks, My spots have literally disappeared, people have even pointed it out! My scars have faded, slower than my spots have cleared. I know you all probably want something that works overnight, but seriously, you won't find it, even if you do, it won't be for long-term. PLEASE try this, and even if this doesn't work on you, you will find a treatment eventually, just like I did! :) Good Luck!!

Pros:

Free.
Natural.
Made acne less noticeable.
Made pimples a bit smaller.
Cleans the skin.

Cons:

Makes skin red for a few minutes after this.

This is like the most amazing thing I've tried. It made my acne spots less noticeable then they just disappeared. The first few times you try this your going to not want to do this because its really cold but you'll get used to it...trust me its worth it. I massage the ice onto my skin for a few minutes after washing my skin.

I don't use plain Ice. Here's an amazing recipe, that works SO much better : 1. Make some green tea. Let it cool down for about 5 minutes. (open the tea bag and pour the tea leaves, I made about 2 cups of water and put in 2 bags, only poured in 1 bag of the leaves though) 2. Add about 4-5 vitamin E (prick the pill and pour in the gel) 3. Mix well. Pour in the contents into a ice cubes container (to make ice) I used a cupcake contain & it works better. This lasts in the fridge forever, just don't leave it over a year. There is a video on youtube about this by Michelle Phan, which is explained in detail. Good luck ! :)

Pros:

* Tightens pores
* Cleanse
* Diminish blemishes
* Dries up acne/scars
* Skin less oily

Cons:

* Really Cold
* Redness for 4-5 minutes after massage
* Needs Consistency

I started using Ice cubes last year and they have done a really good job on my large pores, they also dry up you blemishes and scars by which diminishing and fading them with time and consitency. Costs nothing, and very practical. Just take 3-4 ice cubes and use them one after anohter. hold the ice cube in your hand and massage it softly onto your skin concentrating on large pores and blemishes ; I concentrate on the nose area. Do it till the cube melts and so forth. After a while you well notice your skin becoming less oily, your pores will minimize in size and your blemishes/scars will diminish and fade and start peeling off your skin. Works best for oily/combination skin. Use less ice cubes if you have really dry skin! You can also use an ice-pack if you want to do it while watching TV in the living room.
