Pros:

- Leaves skin smooth
- Reduces redness by 50% or more
- Helps spots and breakouts heal faster

Cons:

- Only heals existing acne (doesn't prevent new breakouts)
- Can smell gross (if using raw honey and/or adding other ingredients like I do - aspirin/cinnamon/nutmeg -)
-Drips if you don't add any other ingredients to thicken it

My honey masks can vary - I will sometimes use raw honey (the thicker creamy kind), sometimes just the organic pure honey (the liquidy kind).. But I always add either cinnamon or crushed aspirin - usually both at once. Anyways; it helps even skin tone, tone down redness, reduces the size of spots, and helps my skin feel soothed and not so irritated, tightens pores (smaller), and it just overall heals my skin.. But I don't know how well it keeps new ones from forming.. Definately worth a try!

Pros:

GREATTTTt!!!!!!!

Cons:

Sticky

i was skeptical about using honey and cinnamon but after trying it, it actually works. proactive and clean and clear are all right but not great. After applying it at night before i went to sleep and washed it off the next day my skin felt really great!!!!!! i had a huge pimple on my right cheek which was painful and i hated it, the size of the pimple was reduced quickly and it was alot less red it also cleared some of my blackheads on my nose

Works wonders for inflamed pimples!!!
This truly works wonders for skin- It has been used for centuries for wounds as well as other skin conditions. I apply some RAW/UNFILTERED honey to my face at night, and try to let it sit for an hour or so. After the first time I did it, this one huge cyst with NO head had decreased in size by a LOT. Even other people had noticed it was smaller. Honey has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties, dramatically decreasing the size of those large, inflamed pimples. Must try. Awesome results the next day. Make sure its raw honey, and cleanse your face before!

Is it okay if i wash my face with acne soap before putting honey on my face? Thank you

Good
I use honey as a face mask once a week. I have mild acne/combination of oily and dry skin. First I wash my face then I apply 100% raw organic honey on my face for 10-20 minuetes and after that, I wash my face with lukewarm water. It can get a bit messy, especially if you want to itch your face and will start to drip off your face. Use raw organic honey than processed honey. Most of the beneficial properties are removed onced the honey is processed and the added ingredients may be irritable to your skin. Honey is not comedogenic which means it will not clog your pores. Honey is moisturizing, anti-bacterial, anti-flammatory and filled with antioxidants and enzymes. The ph of honey is 3-6 so it's alright for your skin. My results: soft radiant skin, minimized some acne but didnt really get rid of all my acne.

Worth the try !
i find honey masks great , you can just use pure honey out of a jar , or go out and buy a mask for £1 . I find it takes the redness down and it also takes away any germs. Its worth the try it helped improve mine , this also makes your skin soft i just leave the honey on my face whilst i am watching TV or revising (30mins-1hour). However this don't completely cure you acne.

Try it!!!
I barley started using this honey mask for a week already. My skin is very sensitive, I don't severe acne but I do have scars and after using honey cinnamon mask for about 30-45 min I see a huge difference. I haven't broke out as much which is awesome!!!! I guarantee it's effective. I would recommend this remedie to those who struggle with acne, marks and can't find a effective face wash. It's great on sensitive skin and leaves skin soft and glowing!!!(:
