Pros:

yummy smell, natural and easy alternative to chemical masks that usually break me out..

Cons:

you must set away time for this..however it has become my "spa" time..

this has been great for me..the honey has really and truly calmed my irritated skin down..once or twice a week i also add sugar to the mix for exfoliation which is a God send as well...i have very acne prone skin which is super duper oily..in the last year however it has become quite sensitive and somewhat dry due to acne meds..this mask alleviates that very well...everyone thinks im weird but hey i will do whatever it takes! oh and btw i put honey on a cystic zit on my nose and covered it with a bandaid and i swear it shrunk within 1-3 days...for anyone that has had cystic acne this is a dream come true! dont forget to onlyuse RAW honey..

Pros:

It is a miracle product. I've had acne for 4 years and nothing works quite as well. But you must use honey & cinnamon powder.
(smells yummy 2)

Cons:

sticky

I had a hard time finding raw honey in my area but once I found it it was completley worth it. Mix 3 tbsp of honey and 1 tsp of cinnamon and apply before you go to bed. Wash it off the next morning with warm water. After two weeks viola! clear skin

Pros:

calms skin. Makes it VERY soft. all natural. Inexpensive. Reduces acne flare ups.

Cons:

clearly it is quite sticky, and so it is a little hard to put on, but you get used to it.

First off, My skin hasnt been this clear in over 2 years, literaly. I have extreemly sensitive skin that reacts to most chemicals that are in skin care products. I cant use BP or perscription creams. I also have very oily skin and started breaking out very bad after the birth of my second son. I started using all natural products on my skin and I have noticed a night and day difference in the appearance and clarity of my skin, and a almost total reduction in the number of acne flareups. I use cetaphil to wash my face and witch hazel to tone. I then use pure aloe vera to moisturize (no alchohol in it). Before I shower I put on the Raw honey mask (must be raw honey, I have found). If it isnt raw honey, that means that it has been cooked to 170 degrees to aid in pouring. This kills alot of the anibacterial properties in the honely. Purchase at health food stores. Must say RAW!. I am really amazed. Use every day to start, and then 2 times a week to maintain.

Pros:

Clean, clear, smooth skin... honey tastes good too.

Cons:

...sticky? that's pretty much it.

I've never had my skin this clear in a LOOOOONG time. Normally new methods work for a couple days and i breakout again, but this just keeps on working. Just put a little honey in problem areas for 15-30 minutes and then wash using ur favourite scrub. I also use vitamin E capsules before bed(just pop them and use the oil) ...make sure u have white sheets it doesn't leave oily residue...but coloured sheet...eh

Pros:

I have used it for about a week. I love it. makes the skin smooth, Helps heal acne, Makes the scars go away and adds just the right amount of moisture. I have oily skin and works great. My dad who was a highly educated person always swore by honey

Cons:

Nothing bad to say about honey

I love it. It has helped my skin, I have oily acne prone skin. I use it once a day. I wash my face, dry it. Apply honey straight from the bottleon my face. I leave it on for about 10-15 mins and wask off with warm water. I keep my honey in the fridge, it is pure 100% honey from the grocery store. I have also tried mixing it w/a little lemon/lime juice and apply on face. Leave for 10-15 mins. wask w/ warm water. It is not messy, it comes off very well.

Prevents breakouts & reduces humps
For me, this works great to prevent breakouts. Every day, and if I can 2 times a day I wet my face with warm water and put some regular honey on my face and let it rest for 30 minutes, after that I rinse it off with cold water. Haven't had a breakout since. It also reduces humps after ~3 days for me.

great exfoliater
ok, so I went through a phase of trying to switch to natural remedies for my skin. I am a loooooooong time benzoyl peroxide user....proactive, clean and clear, the regimen, etc. i thibk my skin is damaged and simply needs it at this point. anyway, I used organic raw unfiltered local honey as a cleanser for a bit. I noticed my skin was hydrated and bright. it is very soothing, though you need to be gentle if it's unfiltered or you'll scrub yourself raw (done it.). it didn't really keep my breakouts at bay but honestly nothing has long term. I would recommend this as a healing mask occasionally or to use weekly as an exfoliater.

Good scrub
I have cystic acne and am very skeptical about putting things on my face. This has made my acne scars lighter without breaking me out... Be sure to buy FDA organic.

honey and aspirin
I suffer from hormonal acne and I have not had any otc or prescribed meds that have worked consistently. Currently I use a honey and aspirin mask every other day when I have really bad flare ups which is 3 weeks out of the month it seems. And then spot treat with neosporin. I have a citric mask (purchased frok while foods) I use on the other days. Well this combo has really made a difference. So, if honey is not working by itself. Try it with aspirin.

Pros:

Makes skin softer
Makes scars go away
Inexpensive

Cons:

Sticky
Can't use overnight...

I started using honey this morning as a mask for 20 minutes, and I already see a difference. It is a small change, so I think patience is needed, but my skin is definitely softer. I will definitely continue using this treatment for a few weeks. I will post my results then. I have had acne for about 3 years now, and it's only on the right side of my face....but I can see a difference already, so I really hope this works! I eat limited gluten, 8 glasses of water, and don't eat junkfood!
