Pros:

BEST acne product i've ever used

Cons:

messy

My skin is SOOO SOFT and my acne is gone. I constantly had 10+ pimples on my forehead/cheeks.... now my skin is acne free and my scars are fading! I guess one downside is I keep touching my face because of how soft my skin is! but so far this has not lead to any further breakouts :) By the way, I got a jar of organic honey for $2.99, been using it almost a month and still have some left. How can you beat that?

Pros:

It destorys bacteria, reduces swelling, and eliminate pain of acne that's underneath the skin. I use raw-wild honey. I don't use it as a mask, but as spot treatment on bumps that are open and put honey right on top of it for 20 minutes and wash off.

Cons:

None.

I use raw-wild honey. I don't use it as a mask, but as spot treatment on bumps that are open and put the honey right on top of it and leave it on for 20 minutes and wash off. In the morning when I wake up the bump is 98% gone and after the second day it's completely gone and it doesn't leave a scar. I find that honey works wonders on open acne or sores. I've tried the mask but it just made my skin soft and thats it. I recommend this treatment to anyone who suffers with inflammatory acne that eventually become whiteheads infected with bacteria, these bumps hurt and raw-wild honey quickly gets rid of the pain, swelling, and the bump itself, completely gone with in two days of use. Try it you'll see. I've not tried the commercial honey that's bought in stores. Raw-wild honey can be purchased at a natural food organic store, make sure it says raw or wild honey, it may cost a little more but it's worth it.

Pros:

It leaves your skin really soft after using it, smells good, it works!

Cons:

Sticky, Messy, Drips.

Before aplying it i did some research, it turns out that topically, the honey has antibacterial properties due to an osmotic effect that creates a poor enviroment for microorganinsms; sounded fancy, so I gave it a try. very good overall you can see the results almost instantly left my skin incredibly smooth and soft. worked better than many artificiall products.

Pros:

make sure its Raw Honey!!! from a health shop. The supermarket honey does NOT work

Cons:

a little annoying. need time in private to apply. drips all over the place too.

In the 12 years I've been battling acne. I have NEVER seen such a vast improvement. For the first time in a long time... I don't have one single pimple on my face!! I cannot believe all the time and money I have wasted on other methods when THIS is the one that truly works.

Pros:

kills bacterias that causes acne. kills bacterias in skin so wounds heals faster if there are any wounds. honey is acidic, so it sucks up oil from underneath and dries up acne faster without irritations. tightens skin and won't dry out skin.

Cons:

drippy but who cares?

cleopetra used to bathe in honey in her times. drinking honey with water also hydrates your body to prevent dehydration, which will prevent acne due to imbalance of oil and h20 in your skin. nurses used to use honey to heal soilders' wounds. oh, how sweet & romantic.

loveeee
I love honey masks. So far I've not had breakouts caused by honey but be sure to use raw honey and only apply a thin layer! Try not to be in a heaty place as it melts easily and can cause a mess.

no improvement
I used honey as a mask and as a face wash but I didn't see any improvement. I am quite dissapointed it didn't work for my skin. It didn't give me blackheads or pimples but it left my skin a bit dry. So I won't be using it soon,

AMAZING
OMG..I can't say enough good things about honey! I generally have good skin and Its truely a miracle. I add it to yogurt/mayo/egg as a natural hair mask for my naturally dry hair. It has transformed my hair completely. My hair has gone from from very dry to dry-normal with its regular use. I also use it as my face mask for couple of min(I have oily skin so cant leave it longer) and it adds a glow to my face and my face was so calm and smooth!

Worked for awhile...
I used a honey lemon face mask for about a month and a half. The first few times I used it, it was great! My face was smoother and the redness was gone. Then I used it for about the 4th time, and suddenly I had the worst breakout I'd had in YEARS. My cheeks were covered in acne and nothing helped until I used the baking soda mask! Maybe I had a reaction to the lemon or honey, but I have no idea.

Love it.. it has to be Raw honey to work!!
So far raw honey mask its what i have used the longest. I saw results within the first day and thats whats i like when i use a product. I leave it for about 10min at night and sometimes in the morning. I usually apply it alone but i have also tried it with lemon and cinammon. Both work well... i find it works better when i apply a little bit of water afterwards and massage it. Always dry my face with a paper towel to makesure its clean. during my research i saw that raw honey was the one to use and pure.
