i have oily skin. this product makes my skin even oilier after i apply at but it really really helps with acne and i'm starting to see it help with sun damage. i currently use proactiv and i just apply this product for overnight. i would never use it during the day because it makes my face look like an oil slick. i wake up with clearer and brighter skin.

Pros:

Smoothed out my acne prone skin and kept it clear. Not one new breakout since I began using it! Stings a little sometimes so apply lightly.

Cons:

A bit pricey but goes on sale frequently.

The best facial moisturizer I've ever used. Would not let anything else touch my face. Well worth the price.

Pros:

This product is the only one I've tried in its price range that consistently keeps my skin from breaking out.

My blackheads and enlarged pores also have diminished.

Cons:

The only con I can think of is that this is a Proctor & Gamble product and they test on animals. Therefore I have been looking for another AHA lotion that'll work as well as this one. Unfortunately, I haven't found one yet.

I have had really great luck with this product. It's so affordable, easily accessible for me, and since using it I have gotten lots of compliments on my skin.

Pros:

Works quickly and effectively to noticeably clear and brighten skin

Includes SPF so works well to protect skin

Cons:

Possibly creates a dependency, meaning you need to continue use to avoid quickly breaking out? Also, tolerance may increase, meaning you must use more of the product over time to achieve consistent results. Can cause oiliness.

I have had "yo-yo" skin my whole life, and tried many treatments. This has, by far, been the most effective. My skin is brighter and even small hints of pimples have disappeared. It has also helped minimize the appearence of blackheads. When I first started using this, I got compliments both from strangers and family telling me how great I looked! I began by using this twice a day and have now tapered off to only once a day, just because it causes my skin to become really greasy. You can play with the amount used and frequency if this is also a problem for you. Overall - I'm VERY happy to have found this and recommend it to everyone I know!

Pros:

non-greasy, absorbs well, good price, smells nice and goes well under makeup

Cons:

warning: it will sting like holy hell if you put it on an open zit...I also wish it had better spf protection

I had a huge breakout in Feb 2008 from going off my birth control pill. In March I started back on Stieva-A gel 0.025% at night and THIS during the day and 1 or 2 nights/week. REALLY HELPED. I'm VERY pale so if I have a zit it leaves a red mark no matter what....I would say my red marks have faded about 50%+ and my skin is smoother and softer and less red. Give it a try!!!

Pros:

light weight, goes on nicely, really feels light on skin, isn't oily

Cons:

nothing so far!

i really love this moisturizer.. it has been the best moisturizer i've tried. it contains AHA and helps clear up your skin and also my redmarks are fading. it's great.. and definitely worth a try. it continues working throuhgout the whole day you put it on..

Pros:

Evens out skin tone
Rids scars and blemishes
One 2.5 fl oz bottle lasts over 15 weeks (when applied twice a day).

Cons:

The product stings for a minute, causing red and itchy skin.
I'm an oily mess in the morning.

I experienced severe acne that left behind some serious blemishes and scars. It is 15 weeks today that I have been using this product day and night. So far the result is clearer and brighter skin. I still break out moderately but my husband has noticed that the older blemishes are beginning to diminish... some disappearing faster than others. A small price to pay for refined, luminous, more healthier-looking skin.

Pros:

Amazing! Works fast and smells nice! Miracle!

Cons:

Can sting a bit at first.

I dunno what the folks over Neutrogena are doing to make such a good product but let me tell you something, it freaking works. I was starting school in a few weeks and I had a red mark right on my forhead. I saw this at CVS and thought I might as well try it. W/in a few days of nightly application the redness was gone and my skin had a great tone to it. A miracle product if I have ever seen one and something I HIGHLY recommend. P.S. I have tried nearly every cure in the book for redness, none, I repeat, NONE have worked like this product has.

Pros:

I have been using this product for over five years. I'm 61 and my skin looks much younger. Everyone asks me what I use. I use it for day under my make up and at night, because my face is dry. It also keeps my face from breaking out.

Cons:

The sting.

Since I've been using this product successfully for over 5 years, I will keep using it. It's much less expensive than other products I've tried and I find it works better for me.
