it tastes really good, especially arizona green tea and snapple all natural original green tea. and when i wiped a tea bag over my face, let it dry, wiped another let it dry... etc. and then iced it i saw dramatic change.

Cons:

the green tea i drink is 210 calories per thing, and the other one i drink is 120.. which is alot to burn off.

Pros:

There probably some health benefit taking it internally, though I haven't really noticed a difference in my acne.

Cons:

Causes swelling of the eyes after 1 week.
Can cause skin irritation after a couple weeks.

This is for reviewing green tea as a topical: Using green tea topically didn't really help me. I purchased Organic 100% matcha green tea from Whole Foods and applied a tablespoon of fresh brew everyday for approx 3 weeks. After the first week, my eyes became really puffy, so I was careful not to get green tea in my eyes. After the 2nd week, I noticed parts of my cheeks are temple were getting increasingly red and irritated. Near the end of the 2nd week, I discontinued use due to the increasing irritation and the appearance of dead skin around my temple. During this entire experiment my acne worsened slightly.

Pros:

- tastes good
- healthy for you
- gives you energy

Cons:

- did not do anything to help my acne
- You quickly get sick of drinking cup after cup of green tea

nothing has worked for my acne so I gave this a try. Drank 3-5 cups a day and used a tea bag on my face for about 3 months and it did not help my acne at all.

Pros:

Taste good straight. Unlike coffee, does not cause roller-coaster effect of adrenaline release by caffeine. No bad breath. Cavity-free teeth.

Cons:

Frequent urination. Little difference in skin's oil production. Does not seem to have any effect on acne.

I was born and raised in Japan and probably consumed more green tea than anyone listed here in my life. Since child, everyday I probably drank at least a pint of brewed tea from new crop, decent grade ($10-$20/100g) green tea leaves. Now that living in the states, I get them shipped directly from a farmer.... I don't like drinking cold water or soft drinks so this is the way for me to stay hydrated. But I DO have to battle with my moderate adult acne. Nonetheless, it's probably a lot healthier than drinking coffee. While I was in grad school, I used to drink a shot of espresso and a pot of Earl Grey tea every morning...That did made my skin oily and out of control along with stresses of being in highly competitive environment. I do not believe consuming green tea would cure acne, but cutting down coffee, soft drinks and other sugary drinks might help reduce oil production on your skin.

Pros:

tastes very good

Cons:

didn't really clear up my acne

now, i've been drinking more than 6 cups of green tea everyday for the past yer. i don't believe that it clears up acne since i still continue to have severe acne. after going on this website and hearing form people that i'm suppose to rub the wet green tea bag on my face, i tried it. after trying it for over a month, my face has worsed slightly. i begun growing more huge, red cysts and whiteheads ever since i begin rubbing the bag onto my face. what a big disappointment

Pros:

Cheap
Tastes good

Cons:

My skin got oilier
More acne popped up

It's delicious, cheap, and easy to make. But it made my skin a lot worse, and it wasn't the caffeine because I drank the decaf kind. I had three cups and that was enough to see that it's made my skin worse.

Pros:

Are there any?

Cons:

Not sure if it's working for me.
Taste is bitter.

I have been drinking Lipton Natural Decaf for about a week or two, nothing spectacular has happened. I am still breaking out. I drink it with honey and it still tastes nasty. I drink 2-4 cups of tea a day, it's not fun.
