Pros:

It is cheap and it works

Cons:

NONE

Im 29 yo and have had acne since I can remember . Im currently on 80mg of accutane but the tone of my face was horrible. I made a 5 part Green tea and 1 part acv toner and apply it twice a day. I noticed 5 days later that my face was smooth but it wasnt until my male co worker commented that I knew something was working . This stuff is amazing .It evens my skin tone so well.I will use forever. Please try this. My acne have been so bad that I took days of to stay home and turned down jobs offers. I wash my face with Ghana black soap, use green toner, and apply FOTE aloe vera in the morning and evening. I also take b complex, with zinc and vitamin c. I only gave it a 4 because I have been using it for one week only. I will increase the rating after two months.

Pros:

hydrates and plumps the skin when drunk often enough; detoxifying; cleansing, stimulating.

Cons:

it can be an acquired taste

Green Tea is healthier for you than normal black tea or coffee, so when you are craving a hot drink just plump for the green, and you will see the benefits if you stick with it. Once you get in a routine of having one in the morning, one at lunch and one in the evening you will noticeably start to feel more energized on a daily basis. you can drink green tea cold and it's lovely and refreshing, just add hot water to 2 teabags in a plastic jug, add some honey and a tiny bit of fresh lime, stir rigorously. Then take the teabags out after a couple of minutes. let it cool down before popping it in the fridge for a couple of hours (or whack it in the freezer for half an hour) and when it's sufficiently cold, give it a stir before popping into a glass to drink. I like to use a litre jug- that way i get about 3 glasses worth. combine this with a healthy diet, lots of water, and you will defo notice your skin looks and feels a hell of a lot nicer. Just remember to keep it up!

Pros:

Ok, this stuff seems to be working like a pro and it clears my skin like benzyl. I love the minty feel. I mix this green tea oil with equal parts witch hazel, rose water, a little hydrogen peroxide and mint alchol and WOW!! It cured my severe acne!

Cons:

I hate the oil feel that's why I added the other ingredients to the green tea oil.

Well like I said..... I use the mixture as a toner/treatment along with equate medicated acne wash a saint ives knock off, and seriously this cured my SEVERE ACNE in like a week total, it shocked my whole family!!!!!! It can be a little drying though so beware, but man oh man did it work, I just added a few crushed asperins into the liquid spray, so we'll see how that works. And yes I put the concoction in a spray bottle although you do have to cover your eyes and shake it before use because the oil rises to top like in salad dressing.

Pros:

Even complextion, reduced swelling, even glow, cleaner pores, elminates black heads.

Cons:

none so far.

I've dealt with a serious blackhead situation for most of my life. Lately, in my late 20s it grown worse and spread to areas on my face that never were infected. Some take weeks to surface and when they do finally emerge I'm left with scars. I've been less then satisfied with many past regimans...I've learned simplicity is key. I've heard about green tea as a solution. I've been drinking it for years. I can't say if the drink helps, I do have to say rubbing the tea bag on my skin has! I was skeptical at first, it felt silly but I was impressed the following morning. I also kept the tea bag from the previous evening, and the following morning I used the tea leaves as an exfoliant and left it on my face for 15 minutes. It's speeding up the surfacing of some of the stubborn pimples and healing my skin faster. I hope that in a week or so, I'm clearer! My complextion is even and my skin has a natural glow. My Regiman... Cetaphil face wash Decaf Good Earth Green Tea Nuetrage

Pros:

helps pretty much everything

Cons:

...

I drink 4-5 cups a day, and after one week i noticed my skin looks almost flawless! I've been struggling with acne on and off since 16. but in the past year it had gotten sooo bad my friends and family were shocked. It was soo bad that every time i had to see them i'd hear comments like "whats going on Chloe? your skin looks pretty bad" but lately I've noticed a dramatic difference! i'll be drinking green tea everyday forever! because it helps EVERYTHING!

Pros:

It makes your skin softer, smoother, less oily and it dries up pimples fast!

Cons:

none really

I never had acne when I was younger but started getting it in college and Vet school now that my stress is through the roof. Nothing seemed to work, I tried ProActive which worked well for about a year and a half but then stopped working. Everything else just made my face dry and red because my skin is so sensitive and didn't get rid of the pimples. Green Tea is great because it is natural and isn't harsh on your skin but it really does the trick! I drink three to four cups a day and then pat the tea bag on my face and let it dry before applying lotion. I also started using a lotion by Alba that has green tea in it which really helps. I have been using it for about a week and my acne is noticeably better (still not completely gone but better). I have high hopes for this treatment. And it makes me feel better that it is natural.

Pros:

Cheap. Can't beat the price at $3. Tastes good and its easy to get and doesn't cost an arm and a leg like all the other acne meds they sell.

Cons:

I don't know how well its working for me. Seems to have cleared up most acne but I'm still breaking out after taking it for around 3 weeks.

I really hope that this green tea starts to work better soon. Have been taking decaf green tea for about 3 weeks and have gotten like 1-2 big pimples almost everyday. My skin wasn't that bad to begin with but I wanted something that would be easy (after trying baking soda which worked but is a pain to do). Hopefully its one of those "gets better before it gets worse" type things so I'm gonna give it a few more weeks but my college graduation is coming up so I *really* don't wanna have bad skin for that. What I do is drink two cups a day and rub the tea from the tea bag on my face and let it sit for 15 min. I do that once or twice a day.
