Pure Green Tea is Marvelous
I was at a point in life where my acne was at its peak; it was everywhere, whiteheads and blackheads, that no matter how hard I tried I couldn't control. It was embarrassing. Then my friends introduced me to Green Tea. It has been an epic experience; it hasn't been the key to getting rid of all my acne, but my acne is now very painless, it goes away faster, and helps me relax and focus during the day. It is exceptional in stress management. Overall, didn't cure me of my acne, but made life easier. I drink 2-4 cups of Pure Green Tea, Ceylon or Sencha if possible. Booyah :)

It Can't Hurt!
It's not my favourite taste in the world but I am a firm believer in treating acne from the inside out. Green Tea contains powerful antioxidants that are beneficial to your overall health as well as your skin. One thing I would say is avoid drinking more than 2-3 cups a day because Green Tea IS caffeinated. If you want to drink any more than that I suggest buying a decaffeinated version (still contains all the goodness of regular green tea.) Alternatively I tend to alternate Green Tea with Peppermint which is great for you digestive system.

Reduces redness

Pros:

Helps acne
Reduces redness
Cheap

I've been drinking 2-3 cups of green tea a day for a while now and I have noticed an improvement. It may sound a little odd but I also use the tea bag by lightly rubbing it all over my face, then washing off with water, I occasionally use the tea leaves to exfoliate aswell. It has improved my acne a fair amount, but the best thing about it for me is that it really helps combat redness and makes my skin look more radiant.

Pros:

Clears acne, period.
Works, better than pills or creams.
Different flavours available, cheap $3
The only thing that has ever worked for me.
Unbelieveable!!
Decaf available but I need the caffine! :)

Cons:

None, I like the taste of tea :)

You have to give it at;east 1-2 months! I've read here people didn't see improvements and they only tried it for a week? I honestly can't believe it, my friend said 'ugh this is horrible, do you want it?' A box of lipton caffinated green tea, I said 'sure, i'll try it'....amazingly within a week I really noticed more energy/ alertness, better sleep, so i googled green tea and people said its good for acne/ digestion (which we all know the insides are linked to the outside). Its been a month now of atleast 3-4 cups a day, yes I use the same tea bag twice, I like it! I also like yogi green tea. For some reason it just works, I usually breakout like a 12 year old 1 week before mother nature starts and WOW! I saw maybe 3-4 tiny things that resemble hope and not a crying spell that I usually get, don't want to leave the house and feel so ugly and I really cannot believe it, my face is actually acceptable! no new fierce breaouts, no big horrid blotches, my skin in slightly less oily, its some kind of miracle. Ok, I will honestly give it another month, if the before and during my cycle I am this clear (70-80%) I will jump for joy and update you all!!!! I do use BP at night every other night now, whereas before I used it x2 daily, and only lightly. Please I beg you all, go and buy a box for $3 and try it!!!!! Please! If you hate the taste, take it weak at first, or chill it in the fridge (no need to boil, just put the bag in cold water and poke it!) But try and drink it 3-4 times a day because I have seen results. Don't give up !!!!

Pros:

antioxidants, even skin tone, less inflamation, calming

Cons:

its only a drink, not a miracle

I've been drinking 3 cups of tea for about a year and a half. Its not a magic face changer but is definatly the best natural remedy ever. Due to the antioxidants and free radical help I get les burnt, which caters to less age spots and wrinkles. Also, the warmth lessens stress. My skin has never looked better after drinking tea however I also still had to have a skin care routine.

Pros:

contains most powerful antioxidant, makes skin soft and supple, inexpensive

Cons:

not applicable

If you drink green tea every day, you feel happier and healthier in general, and seeing and feeling your skin look and feel better is just one sign of good health. I drink several cups a day since I need a caffeine jag and can't drink coffee anymore because it breaks me out BADLY. Used in tandem with the acne.org regimen, green tea is like an extra powerful boost.

Pros:

Clear bright skin, eyes, and tongue.

Cons:

Still miss my coffee, doesn't quite cut it

I've been drinking green tea on and off for the past few months and definetly notice the difference with my pimples, general skin glow and eyes. The day's I have missed out on drinking green tea have noticed my skin looking a lot more congested. I try to aim to drink 3 cups/day and immediately notice the clour and glow improvement. I've also found a handy hint with the tea bags, pop them in the fridge;morning and night dabb them on your skin, as you would with a toner. I think firstly the cold temperature along with the tea properties offers an antinflammatory effect and therefore reduce the bumps. Good luck

Pros:

Great for skin, inexpensive, great inside out.

Cons:

NONE!

I loved Green Tea since I was young, and I have heaps at home. Being a traditional Chinese family, we buy a lot of tea. And it's not just Green Tea that worked-- a lot others did too! I usually drink Green Tea & use it as toner also. It's also a very good moisturizer too! I drank it one night, the next day I woke up, I immediately felt a difference! I love to drink tea, even when Iwas young. [Guess it's a Chinese thing, you know!] I highly reccomend it to you all!
