Pros:

Cheap and the possible results are apeeling

Cons:

made my skin erupt bad!!!!!! had a couple blemishes, and then the peel caused a reaction and developed clusters of cysts

I did alot of research before i did a 10% lotion peel all natural saw alot of good results from others. It must have brought out alot of junk but it did not agree with me at all,it took 3 months for my skin to recover but it looks much better now.All I can say is dont mess with your skin too much since ive left it alone and wash only once a day i am almost crystal clear,i will deal with one to two blemishes anyday compared to that mess

Pros:

evens skin tone and texture

Cons:

20-30% can cause serious irratation and flare ups

it gets rid of dark scars and helps with acne by exfoliating, BUT if you think a stronger concentration of glycolic acid will give you better results BEWARE it can cause major irritation and flare ups.

Pros:

Skin is softer and getting a "glow" back, appears brighter.

Cons:

Although the overall look of skin is improving I got a huge breakout, about 8 pimples within 2 days of use. I have never had more than one pimple in 35 yrs, I used the product for fine lines and I'm not sure I'll keep using it.

I'll continue use for a few more weeks to see if the pimples go away and no more breakouts occur, if they do I will stop and find another solution for fine lines.

Pros:

It improves skin tone, clears up acne, smooths out wrinkles and reduce pore sizes.

Cons:

It tingles.

After I had my son, my skin broke out really bad because of my hormones. I did take some medication to help with the acne, but unfortunately I still had uneven skin tone and small acne still popping up. I bought some glyoolic peels and used them for 6 weeks. I was amazed! I loved it!

Pros:

Makes skin much softer in texture & easy to apply & with limited irritation

Cons:

Do not see immediate results, results are slow to be seeing and need at least 6-10 treatments to see results.

Its awesome. Every week I will apply a thin layer of Glycolic Acid Peel to elimate pigmentation results. It does work except, it takes a LONG TIME to see actual evident results. It does make skin much softer. You just don't see the miracle results as you would hope for but for the price this is definitely worth your try.

Pros:

clears acne fast. skin looked better in less than a week.

Cons:

it stung really bad, and the extraction part hurt too.

it hurts, but its worth it. i was on retin-a micro for about two months, and it was working, but this cleared out the stubborn bumps that were still there. go to an esthetician! i think that has a lot to do with how well it works.

Pros:

Sheds the yucky layers of skin

Cons:

Breakout, breakout, breakout!! Scaling of skin, too.

I've done peels for about 10 years - always under the care of a dr. I recently got an *at-home* one (Gly-Derm) from my dermo, and I broke out insanely. I look like a 14-year-old boy entering puberty. It's crazy - I am 31. My advice is to use caution w/ the peels. Now I have MORE red spots b/c of the breakout. I've got to get rid of them now. PAIN!

Pros:

clear skin! more even skin tone, helps with mild pitting, only have to apply 1-2x week

Cons:

burns a little during application, can't buy at a retail location, have to purchase online, not supposed to use if pregnant/lactating

I started doing biweekly glycolic peels over two months ago and my acne is gone. I am 28 and have struggled with acne since college and tried everything. I have tried every product that Wal-Mart offers, Proactive, Dr. Murad...I mean everything. Now my routine is washing and moisturizing twice a day and a 4 minute peel with 50% twice a week. I have used this in the past with good results but got pregnant and had to stop using.

Pros:

Great treatment

Cons:

Takes a Few peels to see results

I have literally tried hundreds of products over the last couple of years. None seemed to help I have been on thr regimine for about 6 months with little results. Frusterated,I decided that I would try out a estatition. I decided on microdermaabrasion with a glycolic peel. AMAZING! The first couple of sessions did make me brake out but after the fourth my skin looks better than it's looked in years. I am now trying MD Forte's glycolic face wash along with a glycolic mosturizer and can really see a differance in my skin. Try it , it migh work for you too.
