Cons:
Drying, temporary burning after washing off the glycolic acid.
I use a 50% Glycolic acid peel. I do a peel once a week and I'm getting a lot of compliments about my complexion. The only pet peeve I have about the glycolic peel is the burning sensation I experience right after I wash off the glycolic acid. I usually stick my head in the freezer to minimize the burning sensation!

-May see a improvement in very shallow scarring and helps with mild ancne (dries it out)
Cons:
-Somewhat unpleasant tingling
-Takes several peels to notice the change
recommended for light acne sufferers who have stubborn red marks, i bought a 30% 30ml glycolic acid peel with neutraliser and toner from Ebay for 9.60 and it will last for ages cos you only need to use 1-2 ml per peel

Pros:
clears up skin, lightens scars, makes it less oily, makes skin smoother..you actually see ur skin lightly peeling, which indicates that the scarred, dull skin is peeling off
Cons:
dries up face (not really a problem->use moisterizer)
i am using this product biweekly and have already done 2 treatments in 3 weeks. in the 1st treatment, it was great. my face was less oilier. 2 days later, i had breakouts on my forehead of the pimples that were under my skin, which is good..its cleared my skin from the inside. 4 days later my skin had dry blotches that were peeling off. about 1 week later, the scars were ALITTLE lighter. my skin felt like a babys skin, not that it was rough to begin with but it just felt alot smoother and baby feeling. my second peeling, was good. i started noticing my scars slightly fading like 5 days later. not much difference, theyre still there but its a start. theyre continuing to fade as the old skin peels off. its alot better than using fading creams that take approx 6 weeks to see results!

Pros:
It improves skin tone, clears up acne, smooths out wrinkles and reduce pore sizes.
Cons:
It tingles.
After I had my son, my skin broke out really bad because of my hormones. I did take some medication to help with the acne, but unfortunately I still had uneven skin tone and small acne still popping up. I bought some glyoolic peels and used them for 6 weeks. I was amazed! I loved it!

This works great. Do it once or twice a week for 2-5 min and it works great.

Pros:
clears acne fast. skin looked better in less than a week.
Cons:
it stung really bad, and the extraction part hurt too.
it hurts, but its worth it. i was on retin-a micro for about two months, and it was working, but this cleared out the stubborn bumps that were still there. go to an esthetician! i think that has a lot to do with how well it works.

I started doing biweekly glycolic peels over two months ago and my acne is gone. I am 28 and have struggled with acne since college and tried everything. I have tried every product that Wal-Mart offers, Proactive, Dr. Murad...I mean everything. Now my routine is washing and moisturizing twice a day and a 4 minute peel with 50% twice a week. I have used this in the past with good results but got pregnant and had to stop using.

glycolic acid and skincare routine using natural products got rid of acne marks and acne scars.
all you have to do to get a clear acne free skin and to avoid future breakouts is to follow a regular skincare routine with all natural products. like cleansing, toning, moisturizing and exfoliating or scrubbing. i first take off my makeup with some oil based cleanser then i exfoliate my skin with apricot scub (you can use any brand) after scrubbing my skin i use some foam based cleanser which contains salicylic acid which is a face wash, after that i apply rose water as a toner with the help of a cotton ball, then i apply store bought aloe vera gel as my moisturizer i let it soak in after it is soaked into my skin after 5 minutes then i apply glycolic acid 12% cream at night. by following this skincare routine my skin is pretty much clear now acne free and my mild acne scaring has reduced it isn't noticeable and it got rid of acne marks in just a few weeks i don't get any whiteheads or pimples anymore, because regular exfoliating your skin gets rid of dead skin cells which causes whiteheads and rose water has anti bacterial properties which kills bacteria on your face that's why your pores less likely to get infected. and i use an apricot scrub thrice a week even though I'm using glycolic acid cream everyday it avoided my initial breakout which glycolic acid could've caused. and for morning routine i wash my face with the foaming cleanser face wash then i use rose water as a toner then aloe vera gel as a moisturizer above that i use sunscreen then do my makeup and ready to start off my day. by following this skincare routine my skin produces less oil now, my skin was super oily before now its balanced. i don't get any whiteheads and pimples and all my acne marks have cleared up and my mild acne scaring reduced so much.

makes u very dry and flaky for a few days and u most likely will have a break out in those few days
i had microdermabrasion first followed by a glycolic peel folled by pdt for 8 minutes blu-u after only one session of the above i have had amazing results, i suffer from acne, acne scarring and redness have suffered for the past on and off 10 years ... and my redness is reduced dramitcally already i cant beleive it!!! did get a break out and was red for two daysbut nothing to bad.. Overall skin is looking really really good 6 days after treatment!!!!! I am scheduled for this every month cant wait to see the overall result
