Pros:

1. Freckles, wrinkles, acne scars, pore size diminishes and eventually disappears after couple of sessions.
2. Makes skin look flawless after everything heals

Cons:

1. My face looks absolutely scary after for about 3days. Then after all the skin peels off, it looks great. So I cant really don anything for a while
2. Must avoid sun as much as you can
3. Stings!! but it's barable.

It's worth it

Pros:

made my skin look refreshed-smooth and shiny.

Cons:

i did a professional peel, so it was $70, and it was recommended every other month for best results. made my skin very sensitive to sun

youthful skin, give it a chance. home remedies always are "ify" because you are not a dermatologist. You have no idea, even if it says on the box, what you actually have purchased and the best way to use it.

Pros:

dead skin peeled off, for a more radiant even toned complexion

Cons:

kind of expensive but totally worth it

I only had 1 peel so far and i notice the difference already...i was using proactiv before which made my skin sooo dry and flacky just gross ...so i got the peel it even my skin right up right away, also i use a glycolic acid cleanser and exfoliate and lovee the results and its only been a couple of weeks if even a couple:-)

Pros:

over a couple weeks, hyperpigmentation marks will lighten. skin will be smoother.

Cons:

possible burning of pimples, red skin for a while, possible inflamation.

i've been using this product for 3 years (however, i stopped for almost a year in between). It really helped me with my red marks. i recently started using it again after my skin got worse, and i must have left it on too long because my forehead was so inflammed the next day. i burned my forehead and there was a bunch of scabs and bumps. but it went away in a couple days and the marks healed. this stuff is usually the only thing that really helps me with my red marks but there must be great precaution! try not to put the glycolic peel on whiteheads or it may burn and leave a scab. make sure to take it slow at first. do not go past the recommended time to keep the peel on. i would also apply the peel last on the forehead since that tends to have thinner skin. if done correctly, it can work wonders!

Pros:

helps clear skin, smoother texture

Cons:

drying, burning

started 30% peels myself, and my acne is less severe now. i was hoping it would help with discoloration & scars also, but not so much. i'm going to start back up in a month and hoping it makes my skin clear & more even tone.

Pros:

Helps clear up skin, controls moderate acne, gives my skin a "glow"

Cons:

Does irritate the skin and cause peeling

I have used glycolic peels in the 20%, 30%, 40% and 50% strength. It took me 2 years to work my way up from 20% to 50%. I do the peels approximately every other week, and alternate with 12.5% TCA peels periodically. I feel that this regimen has helped keep my skin clear and I receive many compliments on my "glowing" skin. I am 33 years old and am constantly mistaken for being much younger. These peels do cause irritation and skin peeling. If/when I don't do the peels for a while, this irritation/peeling is worse. I also use glycolic toner and cleanser and copper peptide serum/emu oil as part of my regimen. I purchase all of my products from an online store that I have been extremely satisfied with. Most important - follow directions exactly - when in doube

Pros:

Great treatment

Cons:

Takes a Few peels to see results

I have literally tried hundreds of products over the last couple of years. None seemed to help I have been on thr regimine for about 6 months with little results. Frusterated,I decided that I would try out a estatition. I decided on microdermaabrasion with a glycolic peel. AMAZING! The first couple of sessions did make me brake out but after the fourth my skin looks better than it's looked in years. I am now trying MD Forte's glycolic face wash along with a glycolic mosturizer and can really see a differance in my skin. Try it , it migh work for you too.

Pros:

Its Cheap and quick and clears spots

Cons:

It stings while it is on and you do break out more

I've used 50% peel at home for 6 weeks (once a week) I started at 45 seconds, then moved up to 1 min 45, then 2 min 45 until 5 min 45. I am now taking a break for a month. The first treatment did nothing, it was more of a sensitivity test, then next week it tingled and began to sting, the week after i just wanted to scratch my face and wash it off but I was noticing a difference and 2 people commented on my complexion. At present my skin has broken out and this time on my cheeks-I normally only get spots on my chin. I hope this will go! My skin is softer. I use bicarb of soda when the time is up to neutralise as water alone is not enough. I hope when I start the course agian in 4 weeks at 2 mins and work up that my skin will respond - I'm confident that it will. I have invested in cleanser, tonner and moisturiser with glcoric 10% over the internet to use in the month between - I'm also confident this will work!
